Here's a simple form for you to follow if you're not sure where to start, but feel free to embellish and add on it as you like. Likewise, feel free to remove any parts that don't apply to your Dust (IE, nicknames).
Your quest thread title should look like this:
Title: Dust Essence :: Dust Name.
Character Name: The name of your Dust.
Nicknames: Endearing? Annoying?
Dust Essence: What is your Dust? Tell us about it! (Please check with the FAQ or ask us if you aren't sure if your dust is acceptable - keep in mind that legendary/fantasy creatures are not open for questing.)
Gender: Male or female?
Appearance: Include the physical keywords here. You can pick aspect's of the Dust's features that you desire, but please note that BP has final say in what the Dust will look like! For example, if you pick a color for the hair that doesn't make sense for the essence, it will be changed.
Distinguishing Features: Anything special or unusual we might see on your Dust -- horns, wings, tails, etc. You can also include exaggerated aesthetics here, such as multiple piercings, a certain accessory that's never removed, tattoos, etc.
Personality: What are they like? Tell us all the amazing things your Dust is, but don't forget to tell us all the negative traits, the quirks and the unique parts too! It's best to keep this geared towards your Child stage, as RP, metaplots and other outside influences can change your Dust as they grow.
Likes/Dislikes: These ought to help you get a better idea of your Dust's essence and how it might influence their personality.
Hobbies: A general idea would be fine!
