Love was something that Shun still didn't completely understand. However, he knew enough now that was what went on between he and Mitsu. Quite frankly, it was a pretty great thing. It took some time for him to realize it, but when he did, it was pretty damn wonderful.
A part of him felt that this realization had something to do with Lizzy's pushing months ago. If that was the case, he sort of owed her in a way, he supposed. He wasn't really sure how to go about this, but he figured he should try and thank her one way or another.
And so the Reaper made his way over towards the Demon dorms, whipping out his cell phone for the moment to give the spider demon a call.
"Hey Lizzy, are you home right now?"

Thankfully for Shun, Lizzy was in her room briefly to get some things before going back to Junko's place; she hadn't really been sleeping, just enough to keep herself awake, and the fact that she spent most of her other nights sleeping over at Mac's helped. When her phone started vibrating, she was actually quite surprised at the name that flashed across her screen - Kitten.
Or rather, Shun.
"Hello!" She answered with a smile that he could not see, "Uh, yeah, I am! Is something the matter?" It better not be anything bad regarding himself and Mitsu! She was so delighted that those two finally got together!

"Oh, no not really. I just wanted to talk to you for a bit if you're free is all," Shun replied quietly. Soon after he spoke, he quickly realized that he didn't exactly know which room belonged to Lizzy.
"What room do you have, by the way?" he asked. Hopefully she'd provide some instructions or had some sort of indicator outside her door that wasn't just the room number. There was a fair chance he'd end up going to the wrong one otherwise.

"I'm actually packing up and getting ready to go to the monster dorms," She sounded a little distracted, the sound of a bag being zipped up could be heard in the background, "So if you don't mind, we could walk and talk at the same time? But for future references, room 154!"
This was followed by the sound of keys, "Uh, so... If you don't mind, meet me outside the demon dorms in a minute. I'll be right there!"

At that, Shun stopped advancing, seeing how he was already outside the demon dormitories. Well that was convenient he supposed. In any case, he kept the room number she gave in mind for future reference.
"Alright, I'm outside," he replied before going ahead to hang up. Tucking his phone back and away, he just waited patiently for any signs of the girl coming through the door.

Lizzy grabbed her bag and hung the strap on her shoulder before rushing out her door, closing and locking it behind her. Once that was done, the keys were deposited into her bag as she made her way down the stairs leading from the lobby; it didn't take her long to spot the familiar boil outside the dorms.
"Hey!" She quickened her pace, coming to a stop beside the reaper. She debated giving him a hug, and then settled for giving his arm a fist bump instead, albeit awkwardly, "How have you been?"

Before too long, Shun saw the pink haired girl coming on out the dorm. Looking up at her, he was about to return the greeting but paused as she extended her fist out. In an awkward manner, he slowly brought up a fist to meet with hers.
Ok that was just a little weird.
"Hi," he blinked before shrugging off the awkwardness, "I've been well enough. This.. isn't a bad time to speak with you is it? I can come back another time. It's not that important."
Though she said so earlier, he didn't want to slow her down in the case she was in a hurry after all.

It was more than just a little weird.
"No, it's as well as time as any other," She nodded, giving the boil a smile as she gently tugged on his arm to get him walking; she made sure she wasn't walking too fast though, "What did you want to talk about?"

Shifting his weight before beginning to walk, Shun took in a breath and nodded to the spider demon.
"Well, basically.. I guess you could say that I wanted to thank you. That push you gave awhile back got me thinking. Though frustrating as hell at the time, it eventually led to some good things."

She paused, stopping to stare up at Shun with widened eyes; did he just seriously say that? She pinched herself on the arm, the pain helping her realize that she actually hadn't fallen asleep while sewing, although it only made her eyes widened even more at Shun's words.
"Awwww!" Forget the awkward; Lizzy basically hugged Shun, although it was a rather brief hug as she quickly let go to smile up at the boil, "You are very welcome! How are things between you and Mitsu?"

Shun definitely wasn't expecting a hug. Tensing up from the action, he slowly relaxed whenever she let go. Furrowing his brow a bit, he ran his hand through his hair and shrugged.
"We're doing really well," he replied before glancing to the side, "It's.. definitely not something I would have thought possible before I came to this school. I don't completely understand it, but it's there."

"That's really good to hear!" She was all smiles now, knowing that Shun appreciated what she tried to do made her really happy; besides, Mitsu now no longer had to worry that Shun didn't feel the same way for her, "Yeah, well, you can't really explain it but as long as the feeling is there, you're golden!" That was how she saw it anyway.
"And how have you been doing since that field trip?" It wasn't the most pleasant of topics, but it had to be asked.

Moving alongside Lizzy now that the hug was over with and whatnot, Shun frowned a bit as the field trip was brought up. It indeed wasn't exactly the most pleasant thing out there, but it was good to follow up on something like that he supposed.
"I've recovered. For the most part," he murmured. There were still a few things that bothered him regarding it, but there really wasn't much else to do aside from move on.

"Good," She was actually really relieved; her death meant that most of her earlier injuries were 'healed' when she reformed, but she imagined that those who were alive for the whole thing must had returned with a lot of injuries... Injuries that would no doubt take some time to completely heal up.
"Try not to strain yourself too much in the meantime, alright?" She smiled, resisting the urge to yawn, "And Mitsu? Had she been well?"

"Easier said than done unfortunately," Shun said grimly. After all a few months back, Mitsu found him over exerting himself as he was going overdrive with trying to train himself.
"Mitsu's been doing well for the most part too. Though what of yourself? I missed seeing you during and after the battle," he asked. He wasn't sure if not seeing her was really a good thing or not. Had she been safe during that time?
