A bright patch of blue sky detached itself and spiraled toward the ground. The dragon Kameth took his time coming to land. More than anything he enjoyed flying; with or without His. Today His had decided to join him as the clouds promised lots of fun. He had to admit that she rarely did not come. Off either wingtip were two flits each. One bronze, and three greens. It amused him how they seemed to gravitate toward His.
He settled softly, and reluctantly, to the ground tomboy style. Hearing the riding straps being disconnected, Kameth turned his head to watch His. When she was ready he offered a foreleg for her to jump down from. She was very short for her age, which made her an excellent rider for him.
The girl in question jumped from back, to offered foreleg, to the ground. She pushed strands of long black hair back from her face. Unlike most riders, she left her tresses uncut. Wykla was proud of her hair and took excellent care of it. For riding she often braided it back, but some always seemed to come free. Boreal came in to land on his girl's shoulder. He hummed approval at the flight. It made her happy.
"Well done Kameth. A couple more days of training like that and we should have that move down pat. You still need to work on keeping your wings in tight for that roll though." She walked up to the blue head larger than herself. There was enough wind turbulence today to really put their flying skills to the test. It had been thrilling clinging to the straps as Kameth spun and twirled in the sky.

Enyo was down out in the weather as she sang softly to herself. She sat near the plateau area out of sight of the coral area. She was feeling the wind as she was thinking to sing ageist it. She looked around for any plant that looked like it could be useful to the healers and the cooks. Enyo wondered what she would be good at since she tend to prefer not being in the spot light.
She looked to the dragons landing; she felt they were brave for flying ageist the winds when the weather would begin to get rough. She sung a bit thinking of a poem for the brave flyers:
"High above the ground They swarm around To the heavens they see From the land they Be~
No worries when they are Free No cares of the unknown they Seem But why they return and be with those without their wings Who knows where they could go but to us they Bring~
With vivid lives they guard and lead Even those that think they are not to breed- Without the flight we would lone In a world few truly Know.
High above they see all From down below we call..."
Enyo pauses losing her thought of what she was doing. She sighs and goes back to looking for plants to take to the healers and cooks to find someone to teach her.

Fescues trilled and whirled around with her fellow greens. She only managed to irritate Estis more, but that green never seemed to be happy. Trying to cheer up the sour flit, Fescues almost missed Wrappings sneaking off. With a curious trill she followed after the slinking green. Not to be left out Estis followed the pair.
Wrappings had heard singing. Singing meant people and people meant food or stuff. She was always collecting wrapping material. Spotting the girl making the sounds the green gave her clothes a critical look over. They were good! She waddled up and started tugging at loose pieces. Estis landed nearby and started to scold Wrappings and the girl. Fescues hovered to watch curiously.
The flits were not the only ones to have heard the singing. Kameth wouldn't have mentioned anything if the greens hadn't taken off toward it. Mine, there is someone else around. I believe They have gone to cause trouble. He informed his. "They" referred to how the blue thought about that trio.
Wykla blinked as she noticed the air was clear of greens. "Shards. They'd better not get into trouble." She petted Boreal. Now where did they go?

Enyo looked to the Firelizard tugging at her homemade brown mail. She softly stroked its nose, "Please stop, it took me a long time to make this mail. If you like I can see about getting you some food just please let go of my shirt."
(I can't control your firelizard less he is open for both us to control...)

(They're not, but Enyo may react to them. I was using them as a means to get them together, or we wouldn't have an rp.)
Wykla heard the voice of another girl, and the familiar scolding of Estis. "Stay here Kameth." She strode purposefully away from the blue and toward the noise. Rounding a boulder, she spotted her trio of greens with another girl. Wrappings was at it again and Estis was scolding at the top of her lungs. A commanding whistle pierced the noise, followed by an echo from the bronze on her shoulder.
"Estis stop that at once. Wrappings! Leave her alone." Fescues swooped to land on the free shoulder. She hummed and watched the other two greens. Estis huffed but quieted down. Wrappings looked up at the girl as she mentioned food. Food was good, but she wanted stuff for her nest. A commanding voice made Wrappings look toward her girl.
Seeing she had Wrappings' attention for the moment, Wykla gave her a stern glare. This was not how she was suppose to act. She nearly laughed as the green comically let go of the cloth and rolled onto her back by Enyo's leg; as if saying "I'm so cute you can't hurt me right? Right?"

Enyo giggled as she watched the firelizard being cute. She then looked to the other girl and shyly smiled as she noticed the other girl had two different eye colors. She almost wanted to walk up and poke the other girl to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Enyo instead bowed her head, "Sorry if I caused you trouble I was gathering some herbs for the healers and cooks...Please forgive me for causing trouble."
Enyo looked at the playful lizard, "I will get you some food as I promised thank you for letting go."

Wykla was a bit surprised to see this girl also had two eye colors like her. She didn't think there had been anyone else in the Weyr like that. Cautiously she nodded when the girl smiled; however the girl's statement baffled her.
"Who are you? Why would you apologize for that? It's not normally considered causing trouble, unless you were up to something." Her eyes narrowed suspiciously. "So what were you really doing? Wrappings come here," Wykla commanded the firelizard firmly. "It wasn't food she wanted, but your fabric." She held out her arm for the young green.
Wrappings trilled softly at the girl then rolled back onto her feet. She fluttered over and landed daintily on the forearm offered. Her tail wrapped around it for balance.

"I was looking for some herbs and singing a bit. As for my mail, like I said it took me a long time to make it but she can have some scraps from my old clothes if she wants them." Enyo smiled walking to head to the area the cooks would be, "Oh and my name is Enyo; what is yours?"
Enyo stopped to hear the girl reply as she looked at the lovely eyes of the girl. Enyo was softly thinking to herself that the eyes might mean the two are related but she kept the thought to the back of her mind since it didn't seem like any time to mention it.

Wykla huffed. "That's no reason to be apologizing. Really, the cooks would be grateful for the herbs." She wanted to cross her arms in irritation, but the green on her forearm prevented her. Really, why would someone say sorry for that? The singing maybe? She determined to keep her eyes out in case she spotted her again.
Kameth stuck his head around and into view to see what was upsetting his rider. He eyed the two girls. Mine? he rumbled questioningly. Wykla glanced toward him then sighed. It's alright. "I'm Wykla, and that's Kameth. Wrappings will probably take you up on that offer. If she takes anything really valuable I'll try to return it. Where do you sleep?"

Enyo smiled, "I sleep not to far inside...My home is in the candidates area. Its very nice to meet you, Wrappings and Kameth too. As for those of value I keep them in my bags here. Would you like to walk with me as I get Wrappings the food?"
Enyo smiled as she hoped Wykla would join her in the walk. Enyo smiled at Wrappings as she waited for a response.

Wykla relaxed slightly when Enyo said she was a candidate. The green firelizard on her arm trilled a greeting back to the girl. She lightly scratched an eyeridge. "You might want to lock them up if you can when you're not around." Wykla suggested a bit more friendily. "Wrappings can be very determined."
"Sure, I've got some time. Kameth you can head back to our weyr now or find a sunny ledge. I'll call for you when I'm done feeding them." She smiled at the whirling blue eyes then turned back to Enyo; trying to set a brisk pace for her shorter legs to keep up with the taller girl. "If one gets fed, the others will want some too. Plus it's just about breakfast time for them and me. Oh let me introduce you to them all. The bronze is Boreal, the greens are Fescues, Estis, and Wrappings."

"Very nice to met you all," Enyo smiled walking her slow pace so she could watch for any one needing the right away. "So what is it like to have your dragon? Do you both enjoy the wild winds? Oh what would be a good breakfast for the little ones?"
Enyo was very curious to know all she could about the weynrs and the feeling of flying. She smiled then blinked a bit realizing she was forgetting something, "Oh I forgot to pick one the herbs I was asked to get. I have to head back to get before we walk to far."
She smiled heading back for the herd one her old foster siblings asked for.

Wykla laughed softly as her four cheeped or twittered back. "They are a friendly bunch aint they?" She sounded amused as she set Wrappings and Estis to fly on their own as Boreal and Fescues got to ride her shoulders. Seriously she thought about Enyo's question. How was it to have Kameth? She felt his amusement in her mind.
"I don't know, it's so hard to describe or even to put into words. I know I'll never be alone again and he'll forgive me anything. It's like a piece that you've been missing for so long is suddenly found." Wykla gave a sheepish grin, "sounds stupid doesn't it?" She nodded quickly.
"Kameth lives to fly. He was quite put out as a hatchling when we told him he had to wait until he was older. I cherish the time I get to spent up with him. Chunks of raw red meat is what they usually get from the kitchens. Sometimes I take them out to the beach and they go fishing for fish, rockmites, and stuff."
She stopped as Enyo forgot the herbs. Wykla wasn't eager to get involved with them, though. The cooks found out the hard way not to let her around food preparation. Waiting for Enyo to return, she shifted from foot to foot.

"Can they have slightly cooked to cooked meat? I ask because I am helping cook and get to take some what I cook home. Or would you like what I cook?" Enyo smiled as she found what she was looking for. She returned to Wykla and smiled softly, "What winds do you like to fly in the most?"
She smiled and started to lead them to the cooks and healers area, "Also what is Wrappings favorite color? If she promises to stay out of my bag I'll see about getting her something like beads or if I can find some one to let try to make jewelery in the forges I can attempt to make her a gift, and the other three as well."
Enyo stopped realizing she was starting to ramble thus she shut up to not over ask or over load Wykla with her nonsense. She was starting to look for other features that might mean something but she couldn't help but wonder about the eyes. Enyo was hoping she wasn't staring at Wykla's eyes or at least not noticeably.

Wykla shook her head, "you can offer it, but they don't much care for it. The cooks usually keep bowls of meat scraps for them." The girl considered the offer. "What are you going to cook?" As long as she didn't have to help, Wykla wasn't against eating another's efforts if they offered.
She grinned, that was an easy question to answer. "All of them, but the winds that test us are my favorite." She was a dragonrider afterall. It was important for her to know how to fly in any kind of weather in case Thread fell during their life. Wykla looked at the green on her arm then snickered, "she's pretty indescriminate. Any fabric bright, or soft, or unusual might catch her eye. I don't think she'll promise that though, she's very sneaky. A bead? Don't know how she'd react to that." She had to laugh at the idea of her flits wearing jewlery. Well who knew?
Satisfied that Enyo had the herbs she needed, the young teen headed toward the kitchens. Boreal was starting to twitter questioningly in her ear; his eyes turning red with hunger.
