Occupation: As a student in university, most of her days are filled with going to school and studying. She currently majors in classical history, but wants to one day go on an archaeological excavation and then settle down and become a teacher.
█████ ███ ██ Physical Description
Hair: It is similar to this. It's mostly kept short because she believes that leaving it long is a hassle. On the downside, she is easily mistaken for a boy.
Eyes: Her eyes are round and her pupils are blue. She's nearsighted, but wears contacts every day that people often don't know it until they see her at home wearing her glasses. She doesn't like the look of them because she feels like a granny when they slip off of her nose.
Expression: Normally she has a smile or a grin on her face. People tell her to not smile so stupidly, but she doesn't mind it because she knows that her expressions are genuine.
Structure: although quite short, her lanky stature make her look taller than she actually is. She's only about 5'4", but her legs are long and thin that it creates the illusion of being taller.
Clothes: She normally wears skinny jeans and a comfortable dress shirt to school. With this kind of outfit, she can look neater than wearing shapeless clothes but still feel comfortable. Even at home, she wears button-down pajama shirts topped off with cozy PJ pants.

Optimistic
Lucy believes that you should always look on the bright side of things and that even the most improbable things can happen at the most unlikely of times. She normally is smiling or making a weird face whenever she is around people. Sometimes, she tries to make jokes about the bright side of something that clearly doesn’t have one and ends up sounding cynical. However, with a light joke and a laugh, she brushes it off. Most of all, her optimism cheers people up. When they’re feeling down, she tries to make a joke and cheer them up. However, sometimes they take it the wrong way and think she just doesn’t care about their issues. As a result, she just tries to stick to pure optimism as a reassurance to her friends.
Orderly
Even though she is a happy-go-lucky kind of person, if something isn’t going smoothly, it takes little for her get fed up. Even for something as small as missing the bus or not finding what she needed at the store. When this happens, she tries to take control of the situation and go through everything logically. This isn’t to be mistaken for throwing temper tantrums. To get things done, she goes at the problem one step at a time until it’s solved. To try to help her obsessive behaviour about order, she keeps everything she owns with a spot of its own so that it can’t ever get lost. That is, unless she forgets where its place was and she goes off frantically looking for it.
Punctual
Lucy works very slowly on just about everything. She cooks slowly, finishes work slowly and even showers slowly! To keep her from missing deadlines or having to pull all nighters, she refuses to procrastinate. She starts everything early so that she can’t possibly be late. If she has to go out the day after, she will pick out what she will wear beforehand so she’s not changing her mind over and over again the morning of. She normally ends up being too early or right on time for outings or events.
Strict
Lucy often plays the voice of reason, the one that has to stand her ground and tell everyone else that it’s a bad idea. More often times than not, she scolds her friends for their habits. If one of them keeps handing things in late, she can’t help but tell them that it’s not the right thing to do and that one day, it will come back to bite them in the butt. Tension can build up between her and others just by a mere difference in morals. She normally brushes it off if they don’t change. It’s their life and it has nothing to do with hers. Others usually don’t change just because Lucy scolds them, but she does it anyways, just in case they change their mind one day.
█████ ███ ██ History
As a child, Lucy grew up around a circle of friends consisting of mostly boys. She was a tomboy at heart, but was also the big sister of the group. Whenever one of the boys scraped their knee or was being picked on, she was the one who would stand up for what was right, even if she was at a clear disadvantage.
When one of the boys came to her house drenched with a kitten in his hands, she couldn’t help but let him in. As the story goes, he was walking home and noticed a group of primary school boys picking on a kitten. Eventually, with a slip of foot, the kitten fell into the river below. He dove into the river to save the poor thing. When he went home, his mom kicked him out of the house for bringing such a disease covered stray home. Lucy’s mom, although unwilling at first, gave in after almost an hour of begging and promises to take care of it. He promised to come by at least every week to check up on the little guy.
The years of her middle childhood was filled with carefree days with the boys. They all came by often to pamper the cat that they all called by a different name. Fluffy by one, Kitten by another, but to Lucy, it was the one thing that would be an excuse to see each other even when their parents didn’t want their kids going out so often. She thought that they would be friends forever.
But as Lucy grew older, the boys she used to spend all her time with did as well. In her first year of middle school, one of the boys in the group got his first girlfriend. Although heartbroken, she acted as one of the guys and teased him, telling him to take good care of her and how lucky she was to have him. One by one, the boys left their separate ways until Lucy was left by herself. The immature boys that she once had to take care of no longer needed an older sister to take care of them. The face that once came by every weekend to play with the cat for hours no longer came by. Excuses involving girlfriends left Lucy to tend to the cat by herself.
No one even came by to bury the cat when it passed away.
With the cat, along with the friendship she had, gone, she sought other things to fill the void. In high school, she still kept in touch with her childhood friends, but she tried to make new friends as well. However, these new friends lacked in inexpressible ways compared to her old friends. They weren’t the kind of people to chat with immature things about, but rather had serious conversations about worldly problems such as poverty and human rights. They were all the things that Lucy knew of, but didn’t make an effort to do something about. High school changed to University and Lucy moved out of her parent’s welcoming home. Like any good set of parents, the two of them frowned upon the thought of their daughter leaving home, but Lucy still left. She didn’t want to bother her parents any more than she had in the past. She was an adult now, and had to learn to fend for herself.
Neither new friends nor her old friends could fill the empty feeling in her heart. Even her parents couldn’t. Now alone, she turned to the last thing that might. Another pet.
