Gale had called Bix out for one reason.
"I demand a rematch."
It was, perhaps, a stupid reason, but no one ever said it had to be a good reason. And the last time Gale had fought Bix, the other had shot at him without warning, goading him into fighting.
And then had promptly kicked his trash.
So, Gale, being Gale, had decided - now that their last mission was over and done with - that it was time for a little payback to the white haired hunter.
And hopefully it would go the way the wanted it to. Namely, with his win.
"Well?" asked Gale, arms folded across his chest as he looked at his friend with a determined smirk. "You game?"

Bix couldn't say he didn't see it coming. Gale wasn't the kind of guy to just let that butt whipping go. Especially not when Bix had initiated it in such an underhanded way.
"Of course I am ready." The albino hunter already had his weapon out. Mina purred happily in his head and he was sure that Gale's gun was also pretty jazzed about it.
"Ready.. Set.."

Gale was not the type of person to hold grudges. And this was not a grudge - it was merely a reunion of sorts.
....sort of.
Gale grinned at Bix, holding out his hand. The ring on his index finger glowed, then disappeared, melting away to a long, white sniper rifle, which he held in front of him, pointing towards the other hunter.
"Ready...set..."
The grin widened.
"Go."

Gale dived forward - except instead of actually shooting Bix, he swung the rifle around and slammed the butt of the gun into the other Hunter's side as hard as he could.

"s**t!" Bix grabbed at his side and hopped backwards. "Dirty pool old man!" He quoted Addams Family but meant every word.
Bix pulled Mina into his hands, holding her a bit like a fighting staff. "If this is what we are doing.." He struck out, hitting Gale in the stomach with the end of it.
He took the opportunity to back up quickly, preparing to fire on his next attack.

"OW!" Gale yelped, staggering backwards and rubbing his midsection. He had not really expected Bix to stab him with the end of his bow.
Clearly this was going to be one of those fights.
"Old man," Gale snarled with a smirk, and whacked his rifle against Bix's leg.

"Jeezus." Bix hissed and hopped on one leg. "Why is this fight like this? Aren't we.. shooty guys?"
He tried to strike out with his foot and kick Gale, but he missed. s**t.
Bix turned and ran. He'd started running a few days ago in hopes of helping him in this precise situation. Gale had better start chasing or shooting.

"What?" asked Gale innocently. "Would you rather I shot you? Because I can, you know."
And apparently he would have to, since it appeared Bix was making a break for it.
"Hey!" Gale said, outraged. "You can't just run away!"

Bix was shot in the arm and hissed in pain but it didn't seem to be dead on. "I'm just making you shoot. Isn't that what the gun is for?"
He lifted the bow and made an attempt at shooting while running. It was something he was hoping to work on. Perhaps he had too many high expectations for himself because his extensive viewing of anime and fantasy films.
Either way he let the arrow fly. It certainly wasn't debilitating, but he was kind of excited that he'd pulled it off.

Gale couldn't really deny that Bix's running shot was pretty impressive.
Even if it did hurt more than he expected.

"There is no thinking involved. No.. wait that came out wrong.." Bix paused for a moment, catching his breath. He hadn't gotten the endurance any better yet so he faded pretty quickly.
One more Bixy... Mina purred and the hunter simply nodded.
Standing still he seemed to have an easy time firing on Gale. He let an arrow fly, hitting the blonde in the shoulder. Mina hissed and his bow began to pulse with red light.

Bix ducked Gale's shot, moving to the side.
I'm ready. Mina was breathy. It was a bit distracting.
He arched his shot upwards and let his arrow fly. It split in the air and rained down around Gale.

"Hey I don't want to win constantly.." Bix hissed as the bullet cut across his cheek. He backed up a bit more and started to run left. He was attempting the 'running shot' again.
"At least if we are sparring I am going to work on my skills." He aimed another shot. "Just don't go crazy on me, Mr. Serious Business." His arrow skinned across Gale's leg.
"You wanna make a bet on this or something? Would you try harder?" He teased.
