❖Biography: Kat was the only child to her single parent of a mother. Her childhood was fairly simple and boring.
From a young age, Kat had showed symptoms of storm magic but her family just shrugged it off; it was their thinking that the weather was just tempermental. There were times when Kat would get angry and the weather would change in that specific aarea she was in and those around her got curious, but their curiosity would slowly die down. It wasn't until she developed cat-like ears atop of her head did her mother actually make the connection. The joy and pride she felt about her daughter being such a talented young Witchling at a very, very young age was so great that at one point she contemplated offering her daughter up to the academy earlier than the enrollment age, but she decided to wait until her daughter had reached the right age; she figured that her daughter would have mentally matured enough by then, but Kat's mother was wrong.
Kat's childish behavior and lack of respect for elder Witches got her into trouble during her academy years. The young Witchling was such a trouble maker at one point that her mother had actually received a letter threatening to expel Kat. This letter made Kat shape up just enough for her to graduate, but she was still disrespectful to others. By the time she did graduate, the young Witchling didn't have very many friends and had no respect from most of her teachers from the academy.
As a Witch, Kat trained herself hard to control her storm themed magic and eventually she became good enough to make twisters and tornadoes, rain and lightning. She was a year two old (yet lonely) Witch by the time she had gained such strength. Kat had kept herself isolated from the general population for a long time and had finally emerged with a decision to mingle with society once more.
