Yea, I've been doing some major procrastination. I have two exams this week and a lab report due that is now late. I don't feel like studying or doing anything. I didn't even go to class today. My alarm went off but instead of me hitting snooze I accidentally turned it off so the second alarm never went off. Figured I would just spend the day getting caught up. But...I don't feel like it.

I procrastinate a lot too. Mostly math xD.
If I don't set a time to start my homework I will end up doing it at 12am then not giving a ******** if it's right or wrong. I usually try to start my homework at 10 >.<
Will tests and exams...I study right before I go to bed, in the morning of the test, or right before the test xD.

I always study RIGHT before a test. xD It's kind of a problem...

And I have my final paper for my writing class due tomorrow, but I persuaded my way into a week extension, just becuase I'm lazy.

You two suck! I could never study like that for an exam. gonk I have to start studying at least a week before if I want to do any type of well on it. Which was totally proven by me failing my biochem exam. I spent the weekend studying for another exam and spent a day going over biochem stuff. Didn't turn out well at all. sweatdrop

Hey Ouroboros, want to write my paper too while you're at it? biggrin lol

Haha, well my study habits aren't always good... I get B's at the absolute best. I have 0 motivation. emotion_zzz

And...... emotion_donotwant , hahaha. Mine is irritating enough as is.

Motivation is hard to come by. Especially with the semester coming to a close. I want to get my GPA up, but then I have to take a class that totally doesn't interest me. I was kind of looking forward to my biochem class but the prof. didn't teach it like how I thought it was going to be taught.

But...but... crying I don't wanna write it. gonk It's one of the coolest enzymes ever but it's sooooo boring on a molecular level.

And my Pre-Calc class is AWFUL, I don't understand a lick of it. And since I'm getting a 55% in that class, I don't really care anymore. emotion_awesome

That sounds.... awful. How long does it have to be?

My paper got to be on whatever I wanted, as long as it's recent (last 50 years) and has to do with America in some way. 2000 freakin words...

Ugh, I hated that class! I had to take it three times. Dropped it the first two because I was failing and finally made an A in it the third time. You and your pre-cal class sound like me and my biochem class, lol.

My paper has to be between five and eight pages long...1.5 spaced.

What class is your paper for?

Just this English class. It's our final paper, and I always get almost perfect scores on them, but it takes every fiber of my being to start them...

Tell me about it. I've had all semester to write my paper and have yet to get a sentence down. Don't even have all of my references. Why is it so hard to just sit here and copy and paste...I mean, write a paper. >.> How many did you have to write?

We've only had to do 2 so far. And they becamse increasingly longer... I was 400 words short of the last paper's word count, but I got a 195 out of 200 because I had a strong writing voice. I love my professor... haha emotion_kirakira

I haven't a clue of how long a paper is suppose to be just by going by word count. 400 words sounds like a lot though so yay for your writing voice and awesome prof., lol.

Hahaha, right? And this 2000 word paper I gotta do.... At first, it doesn't sound like a lot, but it's like more than 6 pages I think...
PostPosted: Wed Nov 23, 2011 9:50 am

400 words is not a long paper to right, especially including the double space factor which most prof.s like to have.

I can related to pages and six is a lot. I just try to think of writing three pages, knowing that when you double space it you'll most likely have your six. Right now I just tell myself I have to write three in order to have at least my five. I see no sense in telling people to write by word count.

So about how many pages does 400 words make up? Before the double spacing.
