Siianna was sitting at one of the tables in the common room attempting to study for her upcoming History of Magic test. Normally she had no trouble studying but today she kept getting side tracked watching her house mates. She hadn't really talked to many of them but she smiled and waved to those she'd helped this year and the previous one.
So far no one had chosen to sit with her but that didn't upset her in fact it made her happy to know everyone was doing ok.

Arona looked around when she got to the common room. All two tables occupied but one of the two only had one person. "Hay Sii mind if I sit down?" she asked going over to the table where Siianna was looked round.
She saw the book Sii was reading. It was the Hogwarts a History. So History of Magic was what Sii was working on. She remembered the swords master from the year before.

Siianna startled at the voice next to her. "Hello Arona! Please feel free. Are you enjoying your second year?" Siianna closed her book and leaned on it giving up on trying to study for the moment. " Seems everyone's so busy this year." She smiled and was happy for the company.

Arona smiled and sat down "Yeah it seems alright." she glanced over her shoulder "Yeah it dose and it's just the start of the year. At least the house go to classes together with what ever year they are." she said with a chuckle looking back at Sii.
"History of Magic huh? One of the slowest classes there is." she chuckled. "You meet any of our new first years yet? One of the ones I've met so far is from a muggle home like yourself." she said with a small smile.

Siianna smiled and nodded, it was nice to know who would be in their class that year but that wasn't always a good thing. "I've met one of ours, an Elton Bligh. He's pretty neat."] She pulled a couple of photos from under her book and showed them to Arona. They showed pairs of men fighting each other with swords like Siianna's. " He'd said he'd gone to this show and offered to let me study them. I've already found them to be quite helpful."
She doubted the other girl would be overly interested so she figured she'd drop it there and not mention he'd agreed to be her sparing partner.

Arona looked at it "You met that him too huh. Yeah from the sounds of it Elton Bligh and Emma McQuen. Where both adopted from different families. Though McQuen was raised buy Muggles like yourself. Met them both at the Sorting Ceremony " she said with a nod
"That's really cool Sii. I hope your skills with the sword improve." She smiled moving the bangs from her eyes then glanced the room "Should show me the sword play some time."
She looked back over at Sii "So brushing up for that Test, In the History class?" she asked making a slight nod to the book.

" Really? That hadn't come up in our conversation. How interesting." Siianna made a mental note to try and seek out some of the first years. After all she remembered how strange everything seemed to her last year.
Siianna blushed slightly at the encouragement." Thanks. I do too." Siianna couldn't believe her ears Arona wanted to learn? Wow that made two people interested already. " Sure! I also told Elton I'd show him. Oh! Maybe we could start a Sword fighting club!" The more she thought about it the more she liked the idea.
Sii was jerked out of her thoughts by the question. " Oh yes. I was trying but not having much luck." Giggles softly in embarrassment.

Arona nodded "Yeah, I guess that is interesting." she said not really understanding since she herself was use to the magic world.
Arona chuckled "Yeah, might be fun. I heard somewhere that Gryffindor himself had a Sword." she said thinking aloud
"Maybe you just need a brake... though I guess it's hard with our History Teacher." she said sarcastically thinking of how easy it was to get distracted in the class.

Siianna went wide eyed when Arona mentioned the sword. " Oh! He did didn't he. I totally forgot about that. I'll have to talk to the Head of House now and find out how to go about setting up a club! Oh but I wouldn't want only Gryffindor's to be in it so it'd have to be held out of the tower." For the second time her mind wandered out planning how she'd create it.
With a shake of her head she came back into the conversation. " Oh it's not hard or anything. I actually find it quite fascinating but tonight my mind isn't on it. Maybe I'll do something else and study tomorrow before class." Now her head was filled with the idea of a dueling club one where a person could use a sword only or eventually a sword and wand.

Arona chuckled with a nod "Yeah." she could tell Sii was really excited about the idea of starting a swordsmen club.
Arona chuckled "Ah well it's not like history matters all that much anyway." she said sitting back. "So maybe you should make up your plans for the club and how you plan on teaching it." she said leaning forward "I'll even help out." she added putting her elbows on the table.

Siianna nodded and closed her book. " Well I'll need to name it Figure out where to host it. How to get more swords. What it takes to get approved. And what days and times to have it." She pulled out a quill and some parchment and began to take notes.
" Figure I'll go to the head of house tomorrow during free period to ask about the regulations. What do you think on the other things?" She was jotting down everything she could think of that they'd need. "Can you think of anything else we need to do before opening registration?"

Arona thought about it. "Maybe a name unless you want to stick with "The Swordsmanship Club" ... witch to be honest is quite a mouth full for a club name." she said.
"Aren't there different sword types? But if I remember right... You said each sword's wight is different just like each wand is different. And you didn't like to use a sword you weren't use to. If we just get random swords we couldn't just let people use them, then a different one the next time." she said thinking aloud. "But I guess that's why first years aren't aloud to join Quiddige team, and Not aloud to Join the Dueling Club till our third year." she added.

Siianna nodded Arona was right a name was needed and good swords. " An actual name would be great. Though I'm not sure what to call it." Naming it would be the hardest part for her, she just wasn't good at that.
" The swords could be a problem, we could get some basic swords with similar weights and assign them to a specific person." That would work at least starting out and if they got enough members and they lasted long enough they could hold a fund raiser for those wanting their own sword who couldn't afford to buy it themselves. " It might actually be best if we allowed a wide range of swords so a person could find the style that best fits them." Yes that would be a much better idea.

Arona chuckled "Yeah, Swords aren't as common as they use to be.... Lets see a name..." she said thinking "Something good.... and knight worthy" she said tapping her fingers rhythmically
"Some of the pure bloods would have more money. But the key is also finding someone that can make swords for a bunch of kids." she said shaking her head.

Siianna tapped the quill on the parchment while thinking. " Well knights are members of Orders. So hmmm, how about Order of the Roses?" She points to her rose patch on her jacket.
" Though if Elton is right and there's guys out there doing this maybe we can talk to them and see if they'd be willing to sponsor or donate swords." She figured there was no point in at least asking that was of course if her club got accepted.
