The X-Mansion is the common name for Professor Xavier's mansion. It is the base of operations and training site of the X-Men and the location of a school for mutant teenagers, the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, formerly Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. It is also the worldwide headquarters of the X-Corporation. Its address is 1407 Graymalkin Lane, Salem Center (part of the town of North Salem), located in the very northeast corner of Westchester County, New York. It is now run by Emma Frost.
Xmen: - Emma Frost (Leader) - Chris Pitch - Storm - Jean Grey (Backup at the Mansion) - Cecilia Reyez -
Students: - M - Surge - Star - Hellion - Stepford Cuckoos
If you're a student involved in Mutant High, post here when in class.

The door of the Institute swung wide open, and Emma Grace Frost, the current Head-Mistress of the school stepped out. "Ah..." She sighed, taking in a deep breathe of the fresh air. "What a beautiful day... until a killer robot, or demented mutant bent on bringing about the next Bloody apocalypse shows up of course..." She said to herself as she observed the students running around, talking and playing on the grounds. As she surveyed the scene, she noticed a fight break out among the students. "What the Devil are you children doing!?" She shouted at them. Break it up! she commanded them telepathically, and they did as she said. Now... go to your dorms! And if I see this kind of behaviour from you three again, I'll make you spend the rest of your teenage years mentally replaying the damn teletubbies over and over!!.
The students walked away, embarrassed at the ordeal to their dorms. Emma sighed. In times like this, with the world against them, they can't afford to be fighting each other. Emma knew this... And it worried her, with everyone at each others throats in the mutant community due to stress and being on edge, she was frightened that the students and the remaining XMen would not be ready to handle the threat. She had to prepare them, but how? She'd need help, she's no Charles Xavier.

Emma turned on her heels, and walked back into the Mansion. She walked down the halls, her heels clacking on the wooden floor and her long jacket trailing along it. She reached the elevator and stepped inside. Instead of pressing one of the buttons to take her to the upper floor, she instead pressed her finger tip against a sensor. "Fingerprint identification: Emma Frost. What can I do for you Miss Frost?" a robotic voice echoed through the metal box. "Sub-basement, if you'd be so kind" Emma replied. The Elevator dropped, travelling through fifty feet of Earth. The elevator stopped, and the metallic doors opened, to reveal the Sub-basement. Emma took a step out of the elevator, and walked down the long silver hall, her reflection mirrored in the walls, ceiling and floor. Her heels once again made clacking noises on the floor, echoing through out the complex. She finally reached her destination, a large circular door.
The door then glistened blue, and a beam from the centre shot out, in to her eye. Emma Frost, welcome to Cerebra the machine responded. "Thank you". Emma stepped into the giant sphere-shaped room. She walked along the long bridge, over to a machine in the centre. She sat down on a chair infront of the machine, and proceeded to lift the Cerebra helmet onto her head. She thought into the machine lightly, and it sparked to life. The multi-million dollar piece of equipment was at her disposal, her thoughts now spreading across the world. That was not needed. She only wanted to spread her thoughts to the students at the institute. A telepathic hologram appeared above Emma, a map of the school and its current student body. Students of Xavier's, this is your head-misstress Emma Frost. School is now in progress. It is now 9:05am and if you are not in your seat by 9:10am, there will be hell to pay. Literally she broadcasted to the students. She finished the broadcast by saying Thank you, and she shut the machine off, took off the helmet and made her way back up to the upper floor. The doors of Cerebra closed behind her. Now... where are my XMen she thought to herself.

Nori was listening to her iPod, under a tree in the court yard. Her eyes closed, and her mind a distant blur as she was in deep thought. Should I dye my hair a darker shade of blue? Okay so not such an interesting thought but still deep. Emma's voiced popped into her mind, announcing that school was about to start. If this had been a normal announcment over the tannoys, then Nori would never have heard it. Luckily, or unluckily as she didnt want to go to school, this was telepathic in nature and she heard it loud and clear. "Ugh... she groaned, and pulled her head phones out of her iPod which automatically turned the audio off.
She stood up, and dusted the grass and dew drops off of her blue jeans. She then looked down at her watch, to see what the current time was. 9:08am. "CRAP! she shouted. She was going to be late. Or was she? Unlike most students, and other mutants, Nori's power granted her super speed. PHWOOSH, the air around her made, as she zoomed off in the direction of her class. It was time for algebra. She hated algebra. She reached the class within 30 seconds. Just in time as the bell went DING DING DING. She opened the door, slyly, hoping the teacher wouldnt notice. But she did. The teacer gave Nori and dirty look, and she walked over to her sit and sunk into it, pulling out her notepad ready to work.

"Geeez, Nori, you're really cutting it close! You may have already dropped the class if you're never going to be on time... I mean it's the first day of school. You'd thing it would rank high in your priorities."
Monet sneered at the girl sitting next to her. As always unlike some people Monet was always on time and always the prefect student. Perfect hair, perfect, grades, even perfect mutant. And this wasn't her being snobby, although she often was, this was a fact in her genetics. She was physicality and mentally perfection in every way.
She flicked her head back and motioned the the front of the class to the teacher who was already starting.
"Hope you didn't forget your book."
She opened her's the the correct page.

Nori looked at M in the corner of her eyes, squinting. M thought she was so cool, so perfect. She wasn't. "Yeah well, unlike some people Monet, I have a life," She shot back at the girl, intending to make a blow to her pride. She quickly scribbled in her note book, working out some of the quick sums on the black board.
She scribbled so hard, channeling her super speed into her writing, that the lead in her pencil snapped under pressure. M really made Nori mad. She was so annoying and stuck up. A bit like Emma she thought, laughing at the same time.
I heard that. Emma's voice said in her mind.
"Uh..." Nori mumbled, a bit suprised. Did Emma really always listen in on people's thoughts? If so thats way creepy. Maybe Emma heard that. Or not. Nori thought about reaching over to M, to send her a quick electric shock. Then again, she would get in trouble. She chucked the idea to the back of her mind, saving it for another time. She pulled out another pencil, and resumed her algebra.

Şτσям strut down the hallway, the heels of her boots pounding against the floor as she walked. A sound that could be heard from the rooms she passed, most likely. The school day was just about to begin, and she knew that she would have work to do. I need to find Emma. Up ahead, Storm could see a group of students standing with their text books chatting and laughing together. "Ahem." She stopped and cleared her throat, staring at them. The chatting stopped.
"Well, go on! Class starts in one minute. And I don't think that you want to be late." The students separated and fled the hall, murmuring apologies under their breaths. Storm sighed and walked on towards the elevators. Just as she was about to press the button to go up, she heard the doors slide open. Emma stepped out. Gracefully, of course. "Oh, there you are. I was just about to come up looking for you. I just caught a few kids talking in the hallway; sent them back to class for you. Students these days..." Of course, thinking back to her teenage years, getting in trouble for talking in the hallway wasn't nearly as close to the kind of trouble she used to get into.

Emma was planning on sending out a telepathic broadcast to her team of XMen, to get there attention but that was no longer necessary as she had just bumped into Storm. Storm would be more than enough, for what Emma had planned. "Storm, darling! Great to see, how is life as a Wakandan Queen treating you?" Emma asked gleefully, although she was not the least bit interested. Emma walked passed Storm, her cape flowing elegantly behind her. "Don't worry Ororro, Ive 'plucked' their faces from your memory, and I'm scolding them as we speak" She said quickly.
Else where in the mansion, Emma appeared telepathically to the students Storm had told off. I hear you have been bunking your lessons children. If you do not get there immediatly, I assure you I will throw your sorry butts into the Danger room with 150ft tall sentinel, and I'll let it have its crude way with you! Now get to lesson! she thought to them rather loudly, and the scared children ran with their tails between their legs. The illusion then disapeared.
And while that was going on Emma continued to address Storm. "Come, there are more important matters that need attending to," Emma said, rather seriously. She kept walking as she talked, hoping Storm would follow behind. "While I was using Cerebra, I senced a disturbance somewhere near the Savage land, and I fear that it may need our attention" Emma informed her team mate. "Normally I would not be so concerned about the retched place, but there is something there that is somehow blocking my telepathic ablities, something un-human" she finished, and stopped walking. She turned on her heels, to face Storm. "Now dear, thats where we come in. I am going to gather our team, or at least what I can find of it, and we are going to travel to the pre-historic paradise and shut down whatever is interfering with my lovely abilities".
Emma was very concerned. Something serious may be happening in the Savage Land, and in these days, even the smallest disturbances can't be left unchecked.

Chris made his way up to the iron-clad gates. He stared up at their height and girth. He placed his palm on the scanner and the receptionists got his file up on the mainframe. He had signed up for the X-Men to see if he could be of some use, but who knows? Maybe he'd end up splitting and cutting his losses finally and head back to Gotham..
Chris then began making his way down the perfectly-paved path to the Mansion. He hadn't seen anybody on his way up to the hulking mass of a manor. Not a soul was seen in the courtyard, the front lawn- Nothing. Chris frowned and pressed a buzzer beside the massive doors before him. He was ready to be put to work with whomever his superior was and to help enhance the team as best he could. "Well.. Sure beats just sitting and rotting in an office.. I hope."

Emma could sence Chris' mind as he approached the door, to ring the buzzer. As she was busy with Storm, she called out to a passing student who was on his way to class. Be a dear, and get the door for me. And then make your way to class. The student, shocked to hear the woman's voice in his mind, did as she instructed. He walked swiftly to the door, and opened it as the buzzer rang. "Miss Frost is waiting for you" the boy told Chris, as the door opened, and then he departed. Chris would easily be able to see Emma and Storm across from him. Emma turned to face him. "Hello dear, you must be our new recruit am I right?" She asked, however she already knew the answer. Who else could he be? "Great, come on over." she gestured for him to join herself and Storm. She stood by Storm's side, and the woman towered over Emma, only slightly. "My, my Storm you are a tall one aren't you?" She commented, having never truly noticed that Storm was taller than her. With the joking aside, Emma continued to bried the two. "As I was just telling Storm, there is something rather strange going on in the Savage Land. You are familiar with the Savage land aren't you? A Tropical paradise filled with an all manner of beasts located in the Antartic. Alien origin of course, what isn't these days. Shi'ar, celestials, bloody skrulls and such." Emma raised her hand to her mouth, deep in thought for a moment... before continuing. " I had hoped there would be more of us on this team... Doesn't matter, I'm sure this will be quite enough to deal with whatever nasty creature awaits us, however I will try and get a hold of a few members by the time we depart, so take the time to get aquainted among ourselves, and the facilities available. Perhaps you'd both like to try out the new Danger Room while I'm busy finding our runaway XMen?" She suggested to the two.
(The person playing Storm is going to be a way for a few days, so we can perhaps hold off on the Mission til she gets back? Perhaps Chris and Emma can do a Danger room session. This will be good anyway, as I'd like to get a few more XMen members in our team to make it a bit more interesting).

Chris blinked and began to walk on over to Emma and Storm. He recognized the two from different stories on the news. The two were not ones to be crossed; As if Chris had any intentions of doing that.. He listened intently as Emma jumped right into detailed conversation. He just sat there and listened to all that Emma had to say. He also found himself having no damn clue of what she was talking about.. Shi'ar? Skrulls? Chris was familiar with the supernatural and super-powered individuals.. But aliens? No ma'am. Then came the topic of a "Danger Room.." No clue what that was either, but it sounded interesting. Chris finally spoke up to both Emma and Storm, "Well, my name is Chris Pitch. I'm sure you already knew that much. I may need to be brought up to date with the terminology and whatever a "Danger Room" is. However, it sounds like a good idea to me."

"Well Chris, its a pleasure to meet you" she began to say. She'd thought he would know what the danger room was, since he applied to join the team. No problem though, it was easily explained. "Well dear, if you'd like to follow me, I'll show you exactly what the Danger room is," she told him, and she turned away and walked back towards the elevator. She pressed the button lightly, and it made a ding noise. "It's quite a marvellous invention actually. The room features giant killer robots, mixed with hard light holographic projectors. We XMen use it to train. It's a very sadistic room" she chuckled. If he didnt know what the room is, he was in for a big surprise. As she finished talking, the elevator doors opened and she stepped in. For the second time today, she was to go down to the giant metallic maze of a complex known as the Sub-basement. "If you'd be so kinda as to join me Chris, ill take you to the Danger room" She said, as she removed her long white glove. With the glove removed, she pressed her finger on the panel on the wall, and the computer verified her identification.

Şτσям followed Emma closely behind and slightly to the right, as to not get caught in her flowing cape. "Oh, well it's been alright. Nothing like coming back to the mansion though, I have to say." She said, smiling. Though she could tell by Emma's quick change of subject that she wasn't really interested at all. It wasn't a surprise though. Storm didn't care much. She was there on business, not to sit back and catch up with her old friend. The students didn't bother her much either, but she let Emma do what she needed to do. She was in charge, after all.
The matter of the Savage Land caught her attention. She agreed with Emma about not usually getting involved in such strange places. But this seemed interesting. Something blocking Emma's abilities didn't seem like something that they should leave alone."Sounds like an adventure to me." Storm enthused. She had been on a few missions here and there over the past few months, but this she was looking forward to. Being one of the only X-Men there, she knew that Emma would need help.
Before she could say anything, Emma motioned a boy across the room to join them both. Storm listened as Emma explained what was going on to the boy and laughed at her remark about being tall. She smiled at the boy and then turned to Emma, "Just five foot eleven is all." She remarked sarcastically, laughing. It hadn't been too long since she had used her abilities, seeing as that's how she got to the mansion. But it might be wise to train a bit before leaving. "I'd be up for the Danger Room. Though, I might go outside to train as well. Knowing my abilities." She noted. "Tell me if you need any help Emma." She smiled.

Star flipped her bright, auburn red hair over her shoulder as she sat down in her desk for Algebra. Opening her bag she found her red colored pen, notebook, and Algebra book. She smoothed out a piece of paper and began to doodle while she waited for class to start. She tried not to drift off into daydreams because before long, her hand would be going 100 miles an hour. Literally. Her ability made taking notes easy though. She could be done in about two seconds.
As the bell rang, Star glanced up at the door as Nori fled into the room. Their teacher, grumpy as usual gave her a nasty glare, but didn't bother saying anything. Monet had something to say to her though. That wasn't a surprise. Nori told her off right back. Well, she kind of had it coming. Star thought to herself. Nori took the seat right next to her. "Tsk tsk, late on the first day Nori? What were you off doing?" Star whispered, jokingly. Nori was one of the few people she actually liked at the Mansion. Most of the time, she had the tendency to have quite an attitude around people.
It was probably because of the fact that she was kicked out of her home at 14 years old. That can definitely change a person. Although, she did remember that her mother had somewhat of an attitude as well. It was hard to tell though; she hadn't seen her mother in nearly two years. While Star was on her own for that retched year, she had learned to deal with people the hard way. The only way she could have.
Pushing those thoughts far back into her mind, she glanced down at the paper she had been doodling on. Only to find a mess of drawings and writing all over her paper; no space left blank. She had completely forgotten that she had been drawing. Darn speed.
