Character Name: Deacon Richards
Alias: Phantom

Age: 22
Birthday: December 14th
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Blue
Skin Tone: White
Height: 6’ 1”
Weight: 220 lbs
Build: Athletic
Race/Nationality: Caucasian

Notable Features: He has specific bio-luminescent tattoos across his forearms that only show when he is using his powers. When not using his powers they are not visible at all. They glow in a light blue haze, in the shape of several tendrils wrapped around his wrists going down to his elbows.

Uniform:

Standard Attire: Shirt and jeans, very casual in his attire.

Place of Birth: Gotham City
Family:
Darren Richards (Father): Deceased
Maria Richards (Mother): Deceased
Daniel Richards (Brother): Deceased
Sarah Richards (Sister): Deceased

History: Deacon was born at Gotham General Hospital many years before the city became Neo-Gotham. He’d long known about Batman, and had for many years idolized the hero. He’d grown up in one of the relatively nicer areas of Gotham, his father an employee of Wayne Industries and his mother raising him and his two siblings. Unlike his siblings, he was a bit sickly and frail. No one could truly determine what was wrong with him, even with all the medical tests he had done. Still he was treated well by his parents, no one ever really picked on him either: his older brother watched out for him. With this result, he managed to read up and become quite the student, achieving an academic scholarship for Gotham University, courtesy of Bruce Wayne’s philanthropic efforts. His father was a research scientist specializing in meta-human genetics. He had been working on how best to use the meta-human genome in order to create a cure-all for Earth’s various diseases. Under the tutelage of Dr. Nathaniel Cuvier, he’d finally come up with a possibly viable compound. Needing a test subject, at the age of 18 Deacon and his father decided to do the experiment on himself. Taking the newly concocted serum, still experimental, they injected it into young Deacon.

It had a surprisingly unique effect on Deacon: it not only revitalized his health, it activated the latent meta-human genes within him. Unknowingly he had developed abilities similar to a ghost. He could turn invisible, phase through walls, and even fly at incredible speeds. Through some tests the two of them realized that his powers needed to be monitored. Staying at the lab and taking a semester off from school, Deacon was monitored by his father in order to gauge his abilities.

During the time of the experiments, the great earthquake happened that soon tore Gotham asunder. His family had been caught in the quake along one of the bridges heading into the city, they were on their way in to see Deacon in the lab. While Deacon managed to survive the quake he was unfortunately knocked into a cryo-stasis chamber in his attempts to escape the facility. Being trapped for many years, old Gotham Labs was demolished rebuilding the facility as the Wayne-Powers Tower. Following the new Batman’s efforts in fighting Blight in the sub-levels of the tower. Finding the frozen man, he was taken to the Batcave, where he was safely revived and reanimated under the tutelage of Bruce Wayne. Alone and out of his time, he was brought to the Watch Tower and brought under the tutelage of Superman. Not bringing him into missions with the League, he was taught to use his powers and to channel his pent up anger over the loss of his family and his life. He even got tattoos on his arms that glow when his powers are being used as a part of his adjustment to his new life.

Caught between two eras, he sits along the razor’s edge of embracing the future, or dwelling in the past.

Superhuman Ability: Ghost-Like Mutation
Deacon possesses the ability to phase through solid material, allowing for him to infiltrate secure facilities with ease. He is also able to turn invisible to the naked eye, and has the ability to fly at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour. The result of the concoction has resulted in him becoming a much stronger and otherwise healthier person.

Strengths: With these unique powers, he can sneak around a battlefield and fight in unconventional terms.

Weaknesses: While he has a very unique power set, he boasts several weaknesses.
Ability to phase: He cannot phase through certain materials, such as lead without feeling great discomfort and even out right pain. He can also only remain phased depending on how long he holds his breath.
Ability to turn invisible: He can only remain in his invisible form for roughly three hours. And even in his invisible form, he is not invisible to other forms of vision, such as infrared and ultraviolet vision.
Electricity: Electricity can re-stabilize him when he is in his phased and invisible forms, also causing him incredible pain.

Non-Power Skills:
Hand-to-Hand Combat: Intermediate (Spent four years training with the previous Batman in Muay Thai)
Stealth Tactics: Beginner (He was taught by members of the Justice League, and also even got some instruction from the new Batman in how to move about without being seen.)

Stats
Strength: 3
Speed: 2/6*
Agility: 3
Durability: 3
Mind: 4
Power Mastery: 4

*The Speed rating of 6 is based on his flight speed, while the 2 is when he is on foot.

Personality: Deacon is a calm and otherwise stable individual, though what one may consider “old fashioned” due to the fact that he was born in a past time period. His training with Superman and the League has made him more acclimated to the future he now resides in. He is also a bit of a risk taker, since he has no problem with the idea of doing dangerous things on a whim. After all, without his risk taking, he wouldn’t have his powers would he?

Likes: Looking at the events that happened in the past, a good drink, spending time around the senior members of the League, doing crazy stunts (Jumping off the top of the Watch Tower, etc)
Dislikes: People who don’t take risks and other wise boring people.

Hobbies: Any sort of risk-taking behavior.

Character Name: Aurelio Lucero de Jesus
Alias: The Eldritch

Age: 20
Birthday: July 11, 1992
Hair Color: Dark brown
Eye Color: Dark brown, changes to a light blue when using magic
Skin Tone: Light tan
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 180 lbs.
Build: Very athletic
Race/Nationality: American of Cuban and Iraqi descent

Notable Features: Pinna piercings on each ear, lightning amulet on his chest

Uniform: He is a plain clothes hero as he personally does not like to hide his identity

Standard Attire: Usually neo-Victorian inspired clothing

Place of Birth: Star City, California
Family: Acevedo de Jesus(father; deceased), Nadia al-Sayeed(mother; deceased)

History: It would have seemed that Aurelio lived a perfect life in his day. He was born to a wealthy couple within a loving family who, while not spoiling him, gave him everything he ever truly needed. Throughout his life he’d been sent to some of the most prestigious schools, in which he always exceled in all his classes. He was always popular, but even then he never looked down upon anyone, and tried to befriend anyone no matter their clique. He was always athletic, and was in both his high school’s track and archery teams. He was even in a stable relationship with captain of the school’s cheerleading squad. Everyone loved and accepted Aurelio, and he would have graduated class valedictorian if not for fate’s cruel sense of humor.

One day when he was 17, an archery meet against a rival school in Platinum Flats was interrupted by a hulking demon gunning for Aurelio for reasons he did not understand. While the boy tried to defend himself using the assigned bow and arrows, the shots did absolutely nothing to deter it. Though the beast caused much destruction, no one was significantly harmed. As it chased the young boy down it came to a halt as a seemingly normal old man warded him away using some kind of torch. It was certainly a strange site, and the old man disappeared before Aurelio could thank him.

The meet was rescheduled and all students were sent home after quick injury checks. That night Aurelio arrived home to the grisly sight of his parents murdered, as if mauled by some kind of animal. Before he could run, he was again attacked by the beast from only hours earlier. After a long chase through his block, the same old man from earlier once again came to his aid. This time the old man unleashed a full flurry of magical attacks, and killed the monster in quite the dominating fashion. The old man called himself M, and explained to the boy that the demons attacking him recently escaped from Hell via a tear in reality. The demons were of a type that liked to feed off of lesser, untrained magical beings for sport.

M then explained to him that he, like his parents, was homo magi, or a human born with a natural connection to the planes of magic. He offered to teach the boy in the ways of magic as compensation for not being able to protect his parents, and the boy, finding no alternative now that he had no family to stick around for, chose to accept M’s offer. Immediately M opened up a portal and they were off on their journey.

For years he traveled between dimensions with M, along the way learning many teachings from the man. In their travels they visited many worlds, including various other planets, dimensions, alternate universes, alternate histories, and even sometimes further or earlier along in various timelines. Aurelio jokingly referred to M as Doctor M because of his powerful abilities he used to create these interdimensional powers, which he often used to right various wrongs they faced along the way.

His final travel with M was to a realm known simply as Never. It was a land of pitch black darkness in which the sun was blotted out and any form of light was outright banned, the irony being that the creatures that existed in this realm sustained themselves with light. Light was only available to the elite of the society’s hierarchy, and M saw this oppression as wrong and sought to right this. M’s first action was to undo the spell that blotted out the sun. Unfortunately, this drained him immensely and left him in a weakened state. When the elite saw this they struck the weakened M, attacking him with an amulet that was their source of sustenance for years. The attack left him dying, and in an enraged state Aurelio cast a spell he’d found in one of his master’s books to steal the amulet for his own; rage, however, can twist magic in unexpected ways, and instead of simply teleport the amulet to him, it infused with his being and embedded into his chest. In a loss of control he quickly destroyed the demons attacking his master.

Tending to his dying master, Aurelio sought to try and heal M, but M refused. He said that it was his time to go and that he lived a full life for thousands of years, and so he had overstayed his welcome. He instead gave Aurelio a key which gave him access to his library of knowledge once he proved himself worthy, and asked him to continue his search for knowledge. With his bits of magic left M opened a portal for Aurelio to walk through. Upon Aurelio asking if it lead back home, M told him it lead back to where he belonged. Stepping through, he found himself in a world of high technology years ahead of his own time.

Superhuman Ability: Born a homo magi, he is naturally able to access sorcery through various incantations, invocations, and mystical items. While this ability grants him many potential powers, he currently can only access two primary powers without assistance from artifacts, spell books, materials, and the like; levitation and electrokinesis. The first ability he learned to use at whim was flight via levitation, and it is what he does best. He does this mostly through concentration of his natural magical abilities, the same way one with telekinesis would.

Electrokinesis he can use via an amulet that was accidentally embedded in his chest in one of his travels with his master. The amulet was created by artificers to invoke the powers of various pantheons’ thunder gods to cast lightning from his body. While he is certainly skilled, he still has yet to master these abilities he only recently got.

Aside from this he can still access most forms of magic through assistance from elaborate rituals, artifacts, and spell work, though he is not as proficient in these as his other abilities.

Strengths: He has most of the strengths of a person with flight. He can cast lightning, usually from his body, for offensive purposes. He can control just how lethal his bolts are.

Weaknesses: Using his powers too much for a long time can become both a physical and mental strain on him, and his lack of proficiency in spell work can have mixed results. Magnetic powers can wreak havoc on his electrokinesis. The amulet embedded on his chest, while unbreakable, can be a weak point and can cause significant harm if struck. Emotions affect spellcasting; anger and other negative emotions can create rather unpredictable results, as he learned firsthand in his time on Never. Outside of his magic, he is just a normal human and has all the common vulnerabilities of such.

Non-Power Skills: Acoustic guitar(intermediate), Archery(intermediate), Distance running(intermediate)

Stats
Strength: 3
Speed: 3
Agility: 4
Durability: 3
Mind: 7
Power Mastery: 4

Personality: Aurelio is a kind and carefree soul with a somewhat serene outlook on life he somewhat took from his master. He is known for giving wise and often cryptic advice much like his master, and he also inherited much of his sense of right and wrong. He is not against killing his enemies if absolutely necessary, however.

Likes: Researching the occult, music, reading
Dislikes: Demons, evil magic, oppression, criminals, overly serious people

Hobbies: Reading books(fictional and occult), playing guitar, archery

Character Name: Savanna ‘Vanna’ Carrol
Alias: Kat

Age: 22
Birthday: March Fifth
Hair Color: Brown and at times nearly black looking.
Eye Color: Hazel
Skin Tone: A light mocha
Height: 5’3”
Weight: 125 lbs.
Build: Petite, slightly muscled.
Race/Nationality: African American

Notable Features: None

Uniform: This

Standard Attire: Savanna dresses to impress most of the time. Heels, the newest jeans and the best tops.

Place of Birth: L.A.
Family: Creama Carrol – Mother
Marcelle Carrol - Father

History: Savanna grew up as any other child born to an overly rich family, spoiled. She had always gotten what she wanted, when she wanted. Both her mother and father were and still are wrapped around her slender fingers. Her father owns one of the, now best, movie companies, and has money invested everywhere. This allowed Savanna to never suffer a day in her life. Private schools, the best of the best in town. She was one of the brightest minds in her class, something she strives to be, just so she could feel better than her other classmates.

From a young age, Savanna trained in gymnastics. This led to a high school career of cheer leading, as well as leading her teams, both the cheer squad and gymnastics team, to nationals. They took the trophy every year. She held captain of both teams both her junior and senior year. She over worked her girls most of the time, commanding perfection, and refused to accept even the smallest slip up, claiming that if she could do it, they could too.

Soon after graduating, she was selected to participate in the summer Olympics that were held in Africa to represent the United States in gymnastics. For this she trained harder than she ever had, wanting to be the best of the best, something she had achieved according to her parents when she won one gold medal. Though of course one hadn’t been enough for her, she wasn’t the best in her mind, and now she never would be. It irritated the spoiled princess to no end.

It was while Savanna was in Africa that everything changed for her. It was the day before she was supposed to leave when she was approached by a rather dirty looking man. She had seen him several times before, but thought nothing of it. He claimed that he had been waiting for her, that he has seen her coming. He was a shaman, one who claimed Savanna was a descendant from Tantu, a man who was able to call upon the powers of the animals through his connection to the Earth’s morphogenetic field. The man then claimed that Savanna possessed the same abilities, though on a smaller level due to years of diluted bloodlines.

The strange man gave Savanna a stone, a tiger’s eye. He claimed that it would awaken her powers. She had only accepted the stone to get the strange man to leave her alone. He claimed that she would soon be an important figure for all of mankind.

Savanna soon left Africa, the stone still in her possession. It was something she had regretted once she had gotten home. The Shaman seemed to be right, the stone had woken something in the young girl. It was something primal, something basic. It was almost like another consciousness sleeping within her body. It boosted her own abilities, making her even more agile and nimble than she had previously been, though once that other consciousness woke up, things changed even more.

When the consciousness was alert, she was able to do amazing yet frightening things. She could see in the dark, hear the mice moving in the walls, smell the creamer in the fridge. It scared her, though out of fear of being different, of fear of being frowned upon, she kept this a secret from her family, using her spare time to develop this curse so that she wouldn’t hurt herself or someone else that she cared about. It wasn’t until she was nearly done with college that she reached out to someone for help in figuring out what this was.

It was another shaman that had explained her powers more in depth to her. This man had explained that Savanna was indeed a descendant of a powerful family, one that had nearly been lost. He also confirmed that her powers were indeed diluted, giving her only the ability to summon the consciousness of her spirit animal of the feline family. He claimed that it was a gift, one that could possibly expand, though Savanna viewed it more like a curse.

Shortly after her visit with the second shaman, she was invited to join the Justice League. After some prodding she was convinced to join, saying that she would be with those who were like her, who were special. It would be a place where she wouldn’t have to pretend to be normal, where she wouldn’t have to ignore what was inside of her.

Superhuman Ability: Due to her trip to Africa, the ability to tap into the Earth's morphogenetic field has manifested its self in Savanna. Though because of her blood line being so diluted she can only manifest the ability to mimic her spirit animal, the feline. When she calls upon the powers of her spirit animal her nails become like claws, growing slightly longer, and her hearing, sight and sense of smell increase. When this power is not channeled she still has the grace of a feline, though it is slightly diluted. It is unknown to Savanna, but like in the lore about the cats she does posses nine lives.

Strengths: When the spirit animal is channeled, Savanna can see in the dark, hear more than what the human ear can, and can jump further than without it. And from about two stories up she can still land on her feet. Savanna can also come back from death nine times.

Weaknesses: Even when Savanna’s spirit animal is channeled she can still be killed by anything. If dropped from any height over two stories, Savanna could really hurt herself, breaking bones and possibly worse. It is unclear at the moment to Savanna if she has the nine lives that felines are said to have, and she would rather not test it out. And even though she does not know about this ability, it still has its draw backs. When she does come back from death, there is no telling how long it will take. There is also some memory loss with this, depending on how bad her injuries are and how long it has taken her to come back. There of course is also the fact that she only has nine.

Non-Power Skills: Savanna can sew like no one’s business due to college.

Stats
Strength: 2
Speed: 3
Agility: 6
Durability: 2
Mind: 3
Power Mastery: 4

Personality: Savanna holds herself on a high pedestal, and will not tolerate being treated like a second class citizen. She will speak whatever is on her mind, and will rarely apologize for anything, even if it is her fault. She also has the mouth of a sailor. She relies far too much on her parents to give her what she wants, and that may just rub off on others now that she is in the JL.

Likes: Nice clothes, shoes, meat, music.
Dislikes: Overly loud noises, cat n**, smokers.

Hobbies: Savanna is a trained athlete. She competed for the United States in the Olympics with gymnastics. She wanted to be a cheer coach at one point, something that would bring back the memories of her high school life. She also loves fashion, and in college she studied it. That being said, she also loves to shop as a hobby.

Character Name: Emry Sullivan
Alias: The Magician

Age: 23
Birthday: June 2
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Blue
Skin Tone: Very pale, almost white.
Height: 5 foot 4 inches
Weight: 130 lb
Build: He's small, but not frail. He's athletically built, but not very muscular.
Race/Nationality: American

Notable Features: Freckles spattered across his nose. And a tattoo of the Nightwing symbol on his left hip.

Uniform: His style is consistent with a typical magician. Long, loose sleeves are important. The main differences are in some of the details. His collar is a soft velvet, a touch fluffier than norally seen, and the whole coat is a deep navy blue. He wears white gloves, and a white mask which blends seamlessly to his face. His pants are black with off-white pinstripes. His vest is forest green, over a cream blouse. He doesn't always wear a hat, but when he does it's a grey top hat. And he often brings a cane, which has secret compartments.

Standard Attire: Baggy jeans and t-shirts with funny sayings. Or a sleeveless hoodie. Wristbands are ever present (with things hidden in them of course.)

Place of Birth: Gotham
Family: Mother- Catherine Sullivan, deceased. Used to be the second in comand to a low level crime family. A very organized and efficient woman.
Father - Eddy Holeman, alive and currently being treated in Arkham Asylum. Formerly the head of a low level crime family. When Catherine attempted to kill him, he lost what sanity he had been clinging to, destroyed his own organization, killed her, and went on to commit several heinous crimes before being throughtly thrashed by the Batman.
Foster-mother- Lucy Dawson. A secretary in a law firm. Lovely lady, wants only for Emry to have a healthy and happy life. Ultimately it was her decision to keep Emry as their child when his mental conditions began to get out of control. She was extremely hurt and offended that her husband would even suggest sending him back into foster care.
Foster-Father- Jerome Dawson. Head of Wayne Enterprises Advertising Department. Sometimes a little uptight and jumpy... You would be too if you weren't really given a choice in dealing with Emry's issues.
Sister- Lilly Dawson. (Biological daughter of Lucy and Jerome.) 13 years old, loves Emry and wants to be a psychiatrist someday so she can fix his problems. She has an extensive doll collection.

History: Emry Sullivan has had an unstable mind his entire life. But he was medicated so quickly that he never knew what it was really like to be insane. He never did have a good grasp on the difference between right an wrong, but he was overall a good boy... When adults were looking. He was never caught for anything he did, however after the death of his mother and his adoption with the Dawsons, he very quickly fell in with the wrong sort of kids. He got there by showing an afinity for figuring odds while playing card games. Black Jack more specifically. And when he bored of helping them win at that they taught him to pickpocket, which he thought was very good fun. You just never knew what you would find in a persons purse or pocket. Sure theres the obvious cash, wallet, or credit card. But sometimes he'd find something really neat, like a knife, or even a condom.
Within a few weeks of learning the sleight of hand and various methods of picking pockets, he started learning card tricks. By the time he was twelve he'd started figuring tricks out by himself rather than looking up instructions, and had a good grasp on the technique for easy to difficult magic tricks. That said, he'd also started cheating people out of money on the street. And being a bit of a wimpy kid, this meant he had to keep someone around for protection. Just in case. It wasn't that he was totally inept on his own in a fight, but he simply had no desire to get physical himself.
Soon he had other kids wanting to learn his tricks, and some of the stunts he'd been working on. And before he knew it, he seemed to have his own sort of street gang. Being kids, they were of course endorsed by a gang of older and much more dangerous people, they ran errands, stole, and amused for the benifit of the more serious gang. But through these efforts Emry honed his skills in magician tricks and techniques, while teaching only the very basic to others.
When Emry was thirteen his father escaped from Arkham, the first time he'd done so, and abducted him. Apparently intending to raise his son himself. But being deranged and not very concerned with his son's mental health, he didn't allow Emry to keep taking his medications. The illiegal events that ensued left Emry ever more confused on concepts of right and wrong, and feeling that life was much more fun and fulfilling without being medicated. When his father was again aprehended, and Emry was returned to his foster parents... He just wasn't the same. He was much more open about his less than legal activities, and immediately started working towards learning much more dangerous tricks. And he also started taking some combative training wherever and whenever he could get it.
His behaviour becoming increasingly erratic and leaning towards dangerous, Lucy and Jerome did all they could to try and keep him on his medications and stable. When he was sixteen it became apparent that this was not enough. Two years prior to his first bank robbery Emry had learned he was a meta-human and could multiply himslf into two people. It was great fun and he messed around with that ability often, eventually he would summon the energy to divide up to three times. But when he was sixteen it was enough that he could be two people. It wasn't a large bank that he robbed. It had a little above minimum security, and not much cash on the premises. But it was the challenge which had attracted Emry, not the cash reward. Could he break into a bank and take the money without being caught? Yes.
Running away from home Emry managed to recruit some help. And soon there was a string of break ins where the alarms were not tripped, and there was no video footage was caught to show how the individual had done it. Banks, stores, all sorts of businesses were at risk of losing money to this epidemic. Emry was finding ways to get through most securty systems as though they simply were not there. But after about a year of constant burgaries it got stale. When he was almost eightteen it was time to up the stakes. He made an appearance.
Dressed for the first time in what would be his 'show outfit' he allowed a security camera to see him on footage. He left a rabbit in a top hat behind, with a card on which was written a series of numbers. Two nights later, another appearance and another magician themed gift with another card, with three words with one thing in common. And two days after that, another appearance, and another card, this time with a date and time written on it. He was formally challenging the Batman to a game.
The Magician thought it ended fairly well, even if he did only barely escape (and only because he had two doubles.) Sure all the hostages he'd taken from the charity event were saved, he failed to make a first kill. But it had been very fun and educational. Not to mention he got to put the Batman through some difficult obstacles in the process. Which of course ment he had to try taking on the Bat again, and again. By the time Emry was twenty, The Magician had baited and fought, once temporarily captured, the Batman several times. Of course The Magicians identity wasn't a secret to his enemy forever, and with his mental instability in mind there were several attempts to convince Emry to seek help. It wouldn't be until their last fight, on Emry's twentyfirst birthday that the kid would finally take the advise.
Beaten down and exhausted, The Magician had a moment of clarity where Batman finally drove the point home as to just how far gone Emry was. And how sad that would make Lucy, whom Emry really did care for quite a bit. Deflated and defeated Emry dropped the disguse and admitted himself to Arkham Asylum before his mind took another turn for the worst. And despite the fact that he could very likely escape anytime he wanted to, he remained there for well over a year before being approved to leave and become an outpatient.
Soon after leaving the Asylum, Emry had another psychotic break. Luckily it wasn't serious enough to warrant the attention of any super hero's, but it did scare Emry into finding a way to contact the Justice Leage and beg them to take him in. He couldn't stop himself from adopting his old outfit and causing mayhem. But he thought that if he had an alternative purpose to his alter-ego that he might be able to control his actions better. And at the very least, this way he'd be around a great many people who could stop him from hurting anyone on the occasion where he did have another episode. It took a lot of persistence, and a great deal of effort to prove he was trying very hard to be reformed and stay that way, before he was grudgingly accepted. With some conditions in mind, he has to wear a sublte ankle band which would allow his comrads to locate him anywhere he could possibly go. And if he ever intentionally stopped taking his medications, they would persoinally put him back in Arkham and throw away the key.

Superhuman Ability: The ability to multiply himself several times. Currently to a maximum of three duplicates before experiencing any negative side effects. Their minds are essentially the same as the original. Luckily as long as the original is medicated, the rest are also considered medicated.

Strengths: Being able to create copies of himself is excelent for distractions, or for working as a team to combat an opponent. They all have an intuitive sense of what the others are physically doing and so can co-ordinate their movements exceptionally well without really thinking about it. They are created with whatever Emry is currently holding or wearing. They have all his equipment and clothing when they are created, and when they are recalled these things disapear as well.

Weaknesses: They are not telepathic with each other, and if one learns something new they must all return to the original and be recalled again before the rest of them know the new information. When he creates his doubles there is always something slightly different about them, their hair might be a different shade, or their eyes. The freckles might not be in exactly the same place, even their clothing may have something change. He doesn't seem to be able to control what is different about them, and the change isn't always visible. But to an enemy with a keen eye for detail, this is a major flaw as while the copies dying wont harm the original. If the original dies it's game over for all the copies as well. If Emry is injured and creates copies, they also will be injured.

Non-Power Skills: Magic tricks - Master
Hand to hand combat - Intermediate (and barely that)

Stats
Strength: 1
Speed: 3
Agility: 4
Durability: 2
Mind: 4
Power Mastery: 3

Personality: Varies. Generally he's happy-go-lucky, high energy, and easily amused. Depending on his mental state he could be slightly obsessive compulsive, or extremely obsessive compulsive. Display erratic behaviour. Or simply sit around shaking violently while trying to talk himself down from doing something he probably shouldn't. His warped sense of logic doesn't always win against itself.

Likes: Rabbits, magic, magic tricks, candy, reading, dance simulation games, ping pong, and treadmills.
Dislikes: His father, Batman, anything that upsets Lucy, vegetables, his medication (it tastes funny.)

Hobbies: He likes to build boxes or furniture which have hidden compartments. They don't always turn out as well as he'd like, but it keeps him busy.
He has ping-pong championships... With himself.

Uniform: Black catsuit w/ Kevlar Vest over top

Standard Attire: Skinny jeans and a nice shirt to go with it

Place of Birth: Gotham City

Family:
Daniel Cavers (Father) – Police Officer
Molly Cavers (Mother) – School Teacher
Catherine Cavers (Sister) - Student

History: Elke was born in Gotham city to a fairly normal family, her father being a police officer and her mother being a school teacher. As a child, Elke’s mother was diligent in assuring her child was caught up in her subjects and was more than prepared when first going to school. Elke was her parents’ pride and joy, learning to talk before she turned two and being naturally gifted.

Throughout school she excelled in everything she did. She made the school basketball and soccer teams as well as she joined the track team. Elke was one of the kids in school that was popular and well known for being genuinely nice to everyone, not for reputation based on being prom queen or other insignificant details.

Come her graduating year she was elected as a valedictorian on behalf of her school, an honor she was more than happy to accept. Teachers and fellow peers alike adored her and expected great things of her in her future.

Surprisingly enough, though, Elke chose the route of being a police officer despite excelling in her classes and being eligible for most any university or college she could choose to attend. It was partly following in her father’s footsteps, having always admired him but more so it was because she wanted a profession where she could help people.

Upon entering the force she was given a specialized test to determine where she would be placed in the force despite being new to her occupation. After she was deemed worthy of joining the special division of the police known as the R.F. or The Resistance Force, she was given a waiver to sign as to whether she gave permission to be experimented on or not. Finding the opportunity exciting, a youthful nineteen year old Elke was hasty to sign her body over to science and await the results.

Elke remained in the force practicing her abilities along with performing normal duties but gradually the side effects from using her ability became more and more trying on her. Despite her struggles, though, eventually she was noticed by the League and commended for her efforts as an officer and was asked if she would like to join them.

Superhuman Ability: After being injected into a special unit of the police force, Elke gave permission for genetic engineers to perform tests on her and alter her genetic material in order to help the force better combat supers. As a result, Elke emerged with the ability to manifest and manipulate shadows.

Strengths: Being able to utilize the shadows to her advantage grants Elke a lot of versatility. She is able to use them as a method of travel, manifesting herself from one location to another though her current range is roughly thirty feet. Currently she is also able to pulsate darkness, concentrating it into a blast or wall to protect herself with. Lastly, her abilities grant her a natural ability to see much better than the average person in the dark.

Weaknesses: Elke’s ability is far from stable as she happens to be one of the earlier test subjects, resulting in imperfections that often manifest themselves. Her reliance upon the alternate persona that seems to have manifested itself within her after being experimented on sometimes leads to bleak situations where it’s questionable as to whether it’s Elke controlling her powers or the powers controlling Elke. As a result she is not as in tune or knowledgeable of her powers as she could be due to the fact it’s not always her using them. Lastly, if she utilizes her abilities too much it threatens her well-being in that she can easily become lost in the darkness she wanders through when traveling and her ability can overcome her and consume her. Lastly, she possesses a sensitivity to extremely bright light which mostly irritates her in the form of migraines.

Non-Power Skills: Fire Arms Training (Intermediate), Hand to hand combat training (Intermediate), self defense training (Intermediate), acoustic guitar (beginner)

Stats

Strength: 2

Agility: 3
Durability: 3
Mind: 3/6*
Power Mastery: 3

*Persona’s mind is a six while Elke’s is simply a 3, if anyone tries to infiltrate her mind her other persona kicks in to reject them and prevent them from entering.

Personality: On the surface Elke comes off as bubbly and carefree but in actuality she’s best described as complex. She has an investigative mind so if she’s presented with a mystery she becomes determined to solve it (being a former cop does that to a person). She insists on withholding the fact she possesses an alternate persona and sometimes overcompensates by trying to do the ‘right thing’ and being a ‘good person’. In general she’s a pretty friendly person though certain individuals she can be wary of.

Likes: Solving Mysteries, Socializing, Dogs, Exercising, Intelligent Conversations
Dislikes: Dead Ends, Calen Harris (Persona), Being Alone, Failure, Blonde Jokes, Super Bright Light

Hobbies: She enjoys taking up independent projects that involve solving crime mysteries.

User ImageCharacter Name: Lily Minette Crane
Alias: Babel

Age: 17
Birthday: April 12
Hair Color: Chocolate brown
Eye Color: Brown
Skin Tone: Pale
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 109 lbs
Build: Slight
Race/Nationality: Caucasian / French-American

Notable Features: Lily has a few tattoos on her body, including one on her lower left hip, a decorative lily on her right wrist and the back of her right shoulder. What is most notable about her is the fact that she is so small and slight of frame.

Uniform: A black, sleeveless catsuit and matching black gloves. It zips up the front into a deep v-neck, paired with a belt around her waist. She pairs it all with black boots. Whenever on a mission, she always slicks her hair back to keep it out of her face. At the very least, it's better than the "cat woman" costume she tried before…

Standard Attire: Lily tries to make herself look older than she is through what she wears. Therefore, she has a large closet of nice dresses and professional attire. It is rare to see her in jeans and a t-shirt.

Place of Birth: Paris, France
Family: Mother - Colette Moreau-Crane (47)
Father - David Crane (50)
Sister - Fabel Crane (24)

History: The whirlwind romance of her parents, Colette and David, is a story she's heard a thousand times. They met, were married and Colette became pregnant within months, eventually giving birth to their first daughter, Fabel. Theirs was a storybook family, the three of them living in Paris, both holding good jobs while their eldest daughter thrived in the loving embraces of her parents. The family soon expanded, however, when Lily was born several years later. Despite their love of France, David's parents became ill, prompting the family to uproot to the United States to help care for them. The girls were successful in getting their green cards, and Lily began school in Metropolis where she proved to be a bright student.

However, the family funds began to dry out as her parents sought to find new jobs in a new country. They moved from the suburbs into a smaller house near the industrial district of the city, Lily once again having to change schools. Fabel did not take too well to the change, her parents forced to spend more time with their eldest to keep her out of trouble and work through the issues she purported to have from their little "family crisis." This left Lily to her own devices most of the time, and she quickly befriended several local children. At her age, kids were interested in many of the abandoned buildings around the area, and they would often spend their nights (once Lily was done with her homework, of course) running around the streets. It was about this time that she first became aware of "superheroes."

One night, while they were sneaking into an abandoned building, a group of gang members cornered the girls. Before anything unspeakable could befall them, however, a masked hero swooped down from the rooftops, dispatched of the villains and disappeared into the darkness. From that moment on, Lily knew that she wanted to do something amazing with her life - she wanted to become a super heroine.

Little did she know that the same adventures that exposed her to the ultimate life, would also lead to her best chances at success in it. One weekend afternoon, the group snuck into a building they thought was abandoned, but was really being used for a variety of government experiments that to this day she does not necessarily understand. All she remembered were loud humming noises and some bright flashes, but finding nothing particularly of interest from there, the group soon made their departure. The exposure to radiation from the experiments was just the beginning of her new life however, for whatever reason granting her the gifts of language and memory.

From this point on, school was a breeze from her, and Lily officially received her masters in English from Yale when she turned 17 years old. It was at this time that she decided to become fully independent (not that her parents had much say in her life as it was) and emancipate herself. It helped win the court order that, as a teen, she is considered a world authority on dead and archaic languages, and has used this fame to establish a life separate from her family. While she has no quarrel with her parents, and speaks with them quite frequently despite her emancipated status, she remains estranged from her sister, who was less than understanding of her success and seemed hellbent on ruining any happiness that Lily took out of life. Being their eldest, her parents put their time and energy where they thought they were most needed. But the real story of those years was not in her educational success, but in her spare time, which greatly shaped why she decided to move to Metropolis today.

Throughout her tween and teenage years, Lily studied the life she really wanted to lead quite closely. Her fascination with heroism and masked marauders came to a head when she decided to implement her own heroic personality. Granted, it was unsuccessful, and her catwoman-esque costume was far from the envy of heroes everywhere, but for the first time she got a taste of what that life was like. While it took awhile for the bruises to heal, she realized that reading and forming ideas in theory was great, (and exceptionally easy given her powers), she needed a more practical approach. Problem was, every superhero she tried to team up with turned her down because of her age or her build.

Determined, Lily decided to move back to Metropolis once she graduated school, using her accumulated wealth and success to secure an apartment there separate from her family (who still lived in the area) and hopefully a position with the new Justice League.

User ImageSuperhuman Ability: Lily's main mutation consists of "omni-linguism." This makes her a natural polyglot, able to speak, read and write any language she comes across, even if she has never been exposed to it before. This includes ancient languages. This is coupled with enhanced memory, allowing her to not only decipher complex texts, but to remember this information for a long period of time after she's added it to her repertoire.

Strengths: Lily is basically a walking encyclopedia set. Anything that they don't know she can pretty easily look up, and she is really handy with deciphering alien and ancient languages. Additionally, she has memory files for most superheroes and villains that she has compiled through her own research and observations.

Weaknesses: The biggest limitation at the moment is that it has to be a real language - her decoding skills for man-made cyphers are not as developed yet. In this instance, she would still be good at decoding, but it would take her some time. She is prone to headaches from time to time, and tends to shift focus quickly from one thing to another. There are times where she can be easily overwhelmed by the entirety of the situation, and at times like this she has to focus on one aspect of it at a time. This can make her quire narrow-minded.

Non-Power Skills: Lily is very efficient when it comes to research, and as such she is quite proficient with computers. This includes hacking, making her a valuable asset for more than research in that regard. She is rather agile and flexible given her younger years in ballet and gymnastics, though she was nowhere near competition quality.

Stats
Strength: 2
Speed: 2
Agility: 3
Durability: 2
Mind: 7
Power Mastery: 6

Personality: Lily is very advanced for her age, yet she is still a 17 year-old girl. She loves refined things in life and hates to not be taken seriously because of her age or what she looks like. At the same time, she is still very much a teenager and governed by her emotions. Her wealth has given her security when it comes to buying things and negotiating the "grown up" world, but she can still be very naive about many things. On top of it all, she is virtually obsessed with becoming a world-renowned super hero, and wants nothing more than to prove herself to those that already strap on the cape, as it were. She can be a little annoying at times, especially when she meets one of her heroes face to face, and loves to hear stories of heroics from those that do go out on the streets at night to help those in need. Her heart is usually in the right place, but sometimes she makes bad decisions - it is often hard for her to admit that she made a mistake, especially in front of those that she is trying to impress, and this often leads to her looking like a brat. Those that know her well, however, know that these moments are often few and far between.

Likes: Reading, Being acknowledged, Being treated as an adult, Running simulations, Chatting on the phone with her friend, Manicures and pedicures, Listening to battle stories, Fighting crime on the streets at night, Boys boys boys, Superhero boys, Trivia
Dislikes: Being treated as inferior because of her age or gender, Being talked to like she's a child, Jokes about how small she is, Being ignored, Shocked expressions when they find out that she's the leading expert in her field, Lecturing at local colleges. Call her "little girl" and prepare for wrath in multiple languages.

Hobbies: Reading, surfing the web, shopping, writing her next book on archaic language patterns, reading about ancient weapons and battle techniques in hopes something will stick, training.

Character Name: Mason Presley
Alias: Goliath

Age: 25
Birthday: June 23
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Blue
Skin Tone: Light
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 175lbs. (in iron form: a lot.)
Build: Athletic
Race/Nationality: Caucasian

Notable Features:

Uniform: Plain clothes, normally dark colors.

Standard Attire: Darks and a little color. Jeans and converse with layered shirts and jackets.

Place of Birth: Star City

Family:

Lydia Scott (Mother) – Book Store Clerk.
Gary Scott (Step-Father) – Loser.
Jessica Scott (Teenage Step-Sister) – b***h.
Dean Presley (Father) – Firefighter/Paramedic.
Keifer Presley (Younger Brother) – College Student.

History:

Mason was born and raised in Star City by two loving parents, Lydia and Dean. They lived comfortably on his father’s salary, being a firefighter/paramedic. His brother, Keifer, was born when he was four and it was nice to be able to get away with things simply because his fussy brother wore his poor mother out and his father wasn’t always around. Growing up, he did get into some trouble, being the class clown and pick-poketing people. He always did well in school, but never felt challenged and he had to find other ways to challenge himself. Unfortunately those ways were less than constructive.

He was fifteen when his parents divorced and the boys ended up living with their mother. And as nice as it would have been to have a happy, picture perfect family, he’d been relieved when they finally split up. He loved his parents, and he would have liked it if they could love each other too, but leading up to the divorce they’d fought relentlessly and that had to have been the worst experience of his life. It had been much harder to hear them screaming at each other, wondering if it would escalate to physical violence, wondering if he would have to choose a side, than them divorcing. For him anyway. His little brother, on the other hand, took the divorce much harder and all Mason could think to do was try to make him smile, mostly through jokes, the best way he knew.

Three years later, their mother remarried to a man named Gary with a nine-year old daughter named Jessica, and at first he seemed okay. But then he got fired and Mason realized he couldn’t find one redeeming quality in his mother’s new husband. They had to live, all five of them, on his mother’s measly salary and his father’s child support because Gary didn’t have a job, and instead of looking for one he sat on the couch and drank all day. He didn’t know what his mother liked so much about him, but Mason couldn’t stand him. He would be nice, for a while, then he would be in a bad mood one day and act like an a*****e to everyone, even his own daughter. He didn’t have a problem calling Mason lazy for not having a job, even when he was going to school, but he hardly got off the couch himself. Mason was the one person that stood up to his mother’s new husband, especially when he started shouting at someone else. He didn’t mind being yelled at by the loser, he never let it get to him, but Gary made his mother and step-sister cry all the time, and his little brother spent less and less time at home because the guy pissed him off. It was during one of these arguments that Mason’s ability first manifested. Gary had been too drunk to remember, which made yelling at him kind of pointless too but at least it’d felt good at the time. He never told his parents or his brother about his ability. He didn’t know how to tell them, or what good it would do. So he kept it to himself.

It wasn’t long before Mason just couldn’t take it anymore, and he moved in with his father. It was nice to be away from Gary, but he still checked in on his family often, worried about how they were handling that man without him. By the time he was nineteen he’d found a job and saved enough money to move out on his own. Going to school and paying bills all cost so much though, that he had to find another way to make money, as his minimum wage job was barely cutting it. His pride wouldn’t allow him to go asking mom and dad for help. His mother couldn’t afford it anyway. Instead he started tutoring his classmates for money, looked for another job, and his life of crime began to escalate. He was still merely a pick-pocket, but instead of stealing pencils and house keys (purely for the challenge) he now stole jewelry, watches, phones, anything he could sell or pawn, and cash of course. It was getting to the point that he could practically take someone’s necklace off without being noticed.

His crime streak had fizzled out when he found a second job, much to his parents’ relief, but when he realized how many other thieves were in the city, he found a way to do some good. Stealing from thieves? Now that sounded like a challenge. He began helping victims of theft get their belongings back, starting a sort of business out of it. Many of his customers paid rewards when he recovered their sentimental belongings such as wedding rings and family heirlooms. He became a Robinhood-esque hero, maybe inspired by Star City’s token hero? He helped people when the police couldn’t, when they had to follow rules and he could break them.

Superhuman Ability: Iron Mimicry.

Strengths:

He can turn his body to iron. When iron, his strength and durability are much higher than normal. He can take an incredible amount of damage and increased strength to his structure gives him increased strength(period). Anything that doesn’t damage his iron form cannot hurt him, but if something does damage his iron form, he will be injured in his non-iron form. He can also withstand very cold temperatures and temperatures of up to 2797 degrees F (the point at which he will start melting). Also in his iron form he has no need to eat, drink or breathe, he feels no hunger or thirst, but once he shifts back he may be famished.

Weaknesses:

While completely iron moving around is more difficult as iron doesn’t normally move, but he can move. Turning to iron is not instantaneous and usually takes about three seconds for his entire body to become iron. It is not a passive ability, of course, and his non-iron form is just as vulnerable to damage as any regular human is. He cannot change the shape of his body, his iron form looks exactly like his human form always, just iron. If his Iron form is destroyed (melted, crushed, etc…) he won’t survive it. He cannot swim in iron form, he will sink to the bottom of whatever body of water he is in. Iron is magnetic. Iron also conducts electricity and while it is fairly harmless to him in his iron form, he often experiences discomfort when he shifts back after being hit with electricity.

Non-Power Skills:

Pick-pocketing (Master)
Breaking and Entering (Intermediate)
Staying perfectly still (Master)

Speed: 4/1*
Agility: 3/1*

These skills change depending on which form he is in.

Personality:

Mason is untrusting of others, mostly because he knows that he’s sometimes untrustworthy, and yet people trust him without question often. He is a bit of a jokester and sometimes a slacker as well as a smartass. He's a believer in the importance of self-sufficiency, but isn't opposed to helping those who can't help themselves. Back-handed compliments aren’t strangers to his mouth, whether he’s joking about them or not he leaves to his victim to decide. He is generally an upstanding citizen, but sometimes has trouble distinguishing between right and wrong, and sometimes has sticky fingers. The good things he does usually outweigh the bad, though it’s no excuse for them.

Likes: Statues, Fountains, Kids, Art, Lavish Homes, Messing With People.
Dislikes: Pigeons, Deep Water, Boats, Magnets.

Character Name:
  Karmen Riley Stanson
Alias:  Kindle

Age:  22
Birthday:   May 5th
Hair Color:  Dark Blond
Eye Color: Blue
Skin Tone: Peach
Height:  5'5”
Weight: 106
Build:  Slender
Race/Nationality: Caucasian American

Notable Features:  Outline of a heart tattoo on the outside of her wrist.

Uniform:
  None yet.

Standard Attire:  Whatever is in fashion

Place of Birth:
  Richmond, Virginia
Family:  Mother, Kate – deceased
Father - Brian, 48, car mechanic
Ron – brother, 27 State employee
“Aunt” Carmen – friend of family

History:

Karmen's family is small, and what many might consider broken. Her grandparents died long before she was born, her mother died in a car crash, bringing little Karmen into the world three months too early. Brian, devastated, named the little tot after his late wife's best friend, who had done what she could to save the little girl in the accident. He gave her the name, but started with a “K,” to commemorate his wife. After six arduous months in the pre-natal unit, the baby came home with them for the first time.

Growing up in the small family, Karmen spent a lot of time with her dad – learning the ropes of how to diagnose problems with cars, and always asked questions about her mother – loving her through the stories that each member of her family would tell her. Given the fact that she'd been taken from them by a drunk driver, Karmen wanted very much to go into law enforcement, and excelled through her studies so that she could attend a university on scholarship; her father would have otherwise not been able to pay for any sort of secondary education.

Her mutation was late in coming – she'd awakened one night to her bed on fire in her dorm room. Unable to explain the cause, she was dubbed the pyro by everyone on the small campus. With the help of grants, student loans and a few scholarships from a local university, Karmen traveled to Europe, studying abroad there for a semester, where she decided not to return home. No one there knew of the incident on campus, so it made sense. Making a transfer, she was to finish out her degree in London, where she was approached for a job opportunity with Americans in the British Embassy. They needed a student, she needed an extended visa. While it wasn't the most glamorous of occupations, it paid for her modest apartment... and she was sure it would give rise to new opportunities. In a few months' time, it did. Not only did it offer her a visa, help pay her tuition, Karmen quickly found herself in a whirlwind of activity.

The people who had hired her were mutants, had detected she was as well and wanted to help her with her control – as no one wanted an untrained firebug prowling a city. Agreeing to join forces with them, they taught her what was needed for her to use the mutation without killing anyone. Finding that she fit in perfectly with the clan, the Virginia native was content to continue working with them.

It wasn't until her boyfriend in the group was caught cheating and deserted her that Karmen decided to go back home to America – everything about London bleak and lonely. Her connections with her brother, and then with her former experience as a British Embassy employee secured her a position with the state government, tracking crimes related to mutants. Close to her heart, she worked long hours, searching for anything that might have told her where Cody had gone... but only found dead ends.

It was two months after she'd returned home that she discovered something indicative of her old flame when she decided to investigate on her own. What it brought her to wasn't really a crime syndicate location, but a group of people that she would learn to call the Justice League. Leaving the state job behind, Karmen was certain that the group would one day run across him, and she could light him on fire for breaking her heart.

Superhuman Ability:  Pyrokinesis

Strengths:  Able to start her own fires by speeding up the atoms in the air, this firebug is able to manipulate flames in a way to send them at someone or something. Being one with fire gives her immunity to heat. With her current mastery, she's able to propel large balls of flame as far as she can throw them, but can only start fires within a three foot radius of herself. She can draw a circle of fire around an object, the flames get to be about two feet tall.

Weaknesses:  She can only sustain fire for so long on her own, after that it needs to be fed if it's been off of her for more than three minutes. While she has an immunity to heat, she does not have an immunity to smoke inhalation. She cannot control large amounts of fire that are not her own, so putting out a forest fire would not be an option.

Non-Power Skills:
Automechanic - foreign cars, mostly. Some self defense training, did archery with her brother as a child, so the skill set is barely intermediate. Gymnastics – master. (it was how she got scholarships to college) Swimming – intermediate.

Stats

Strength:  3 – for a woman.
Speed: 4
Agility: 4
Durability: 3
Mind:  5
Power Mastery:  4

Personality:  Karmen is not afraid to speak her mind, but has some tact about it. She's often sarcastic, but gets along better with men than women, mostly because there were more men in her life than there ever have been women. She can be studious, but in an instant be as playful as a kitten.

Likes:  Bomb pops, dancing. Gymnastics
Dislikes:  Doing arm curls, jellyfish. Cody, her ex boyfriend.

Hobbies:  Tumbling, working out and working on cars

Character Name: Aiden Gavin Dusk
Alias: Glacier

Age: 23
Birthday: 12/21
Hair Color: Dirty Blond/Brown
Eye Color: Blue
Skin Tone: Tanned
Height: 6”3
Weight: 185lbs
Build: Very well toned, with definitive musculature structure.
Race/Nationality: Caucasian

Notable Features: Sagittarius. He has a few tattoo’s across his back. He chose their position so that they could be easily hidden. He has various side effects from his ability...When angry, his eyes will appear to frost over, and his skin will take a faint icy sheen. See ability. When his power is active, his breath may come in a white fog, akin to dry ice.

Uniform: Standard Issue Uniform. Leather with a utility belt and built in communication units used to keep in touch with other team members and the home base.

Standard Attire: He prefers a pair of comfortable, well fitting jeans and a printed tee-shirt. If outdoors and the weather is poor, he is usually accompanied by a leather jacket. On sunny days, he can most likely be seen with a pair of dark sunglasses. He prefers combat/hunting boots to sneakers.

Place of Birth:
Sonoma County, CA - USA [Wine Country]

Family:

Josephine Dusk [Mother] – (Weather Manipulator)
Arthur Dusk [Father] – (No Ability)
Priya Dusk [Twin Sister] – (Aerokinetic)

History: Aiden Dusk was born to a fairly wealthy family in Sonoma County, California. He grew up with his twin sister Priya oblivious to many troubles of the outside world. Dusk Vineyard and Winery is peaceful, aside from the occasional theft from one of the store houses or a prank from one of the townsfolk in the valley. The twins were near inseparable, sharing the fairly normal bond and mutual closeness than many siblings do. Aiden is the elder by three minutes, and has mercilessly spent his life reminding his sister of that fact…While chasing off any potential love interests with threats his mother would wash out his mouth for if she heard.

Life was good to the Dusk children—But by no means were they monetarily spoiled, though their parents had the means. They had chores and responsibilities, duties to the vineyard that could not be shirked. Their father was very firm in teaching them the value of a dollar, and the reward that is found when working with one’s hands for a living. Aiden has learned a good deal about mechanical repairs from helping his father with his hobby of restoring vintage cars, repairing tractors, and various other pieces of farm equipment over the years.

Aiden knew from a young age that his family was different than most. Other vineyards in different counties suffered from droughts and various forms of crop loss when the weather became unsatisfactory for them. At Dusk Vineyard and Winery, the conditions are always perfect, always suitable. Perfect for producing grapes in mass quantities. When his mother cried, or grew sad for some reason, he’d noticed as a child that it always seemed like God wept with her. When Josephine Dusk shed tears…It rained.

When the twins hit puberty, within weeks of each other their abilities appeared. Living on a vineyard kept them easy to conceal…Knowing what afflicted their children, Josephine and Arthur Dusk took it upon themselves to try and guide them. It wasn’t an exact science, but they turned an unused barn into a training area. Aiden’s ability showed up for the first time in a relatively innocent fashion. He’d pressed a kiss to his girlfriends cheek, and the girl jerked away with a shriek. She thought that Aiden had simply been playing a trick on her with an ice cube…No such luck. He started freezing objects at random, entire bushels of grapes, and even the tail of his sisters cat.

Through the years he’s managed to fine tune his control. When he turned eighteen he moved to Los Angeles proper to join the Police Academy. He put in the effort, the years, and went through the training and passed both written and physical exams with flying colors. In his time on the LAPD as a patrol officer he’s learned more about the world, than he ever had from the vineyard. His emails to his sister grew darker with each passing week. The seedy underbelly of the city made him push himself harder. He felt a driving need to do better, to be better. To serve and protect.

He has lost several hard cases over the years… And learned many hard lessons. From murder to domestic disturbances…Just when he thought he’d seen it all, the world changed, and his position became that much more difficult. It has affected him profoundly, leaving his personality a little more like his mutation…Even though he’s still a rookie trying to earn rank…The cases he is sent out on doesn’t make reality any gentler.

Aiden has found that being an officer of the law has its drawbacks. For one thing, it’s incredibly hard to hide a cryogenetic ability that can occasionally react visibly in tense situations. He has on many occasions relied on it to get him out of a tight bind… But there are rules, and several sets of protocol that must be followed at all times. He’s come to the conclusion that most criminals don’t deserve the justice system…But because he’s taken oaths to User Imageuphold the law, he still follows standard operating procedure and adheres to the chain of command…

Though he finds himself questioning his life choices more and more lately. He has become unsure if the Police force is where he truly belongs. His particular set of skills and vast achievements at such a relatively young age has been noticed by the League….At first, he thought their contact some kind of prank. But with a gun and a badge in one hand, and his ability in the other…He is at a crossroads, unsure of which direction to turn… It had always been his goal to pay his dues, and then acquire a Detective position…But more and more it seemed that the law was failing. More often than not, he required his ability to aide him…Because the individuals they chased, weren’t always…Human.

After consulting Priya and a long deliberation, Aiden, against his fathers wishes decided to join the League.

Superhuman Ability: Cryokinesis - Possesses the power to radically decrease the temperature of ambient water vapor in his environment, thereby freezing it into ice.

Strengths: Aiden can freeze most anything around him and has a resistance to sub zero temperatures. The ice that he creates from water vapor is incredibly compact, and with few flaws. It makes his icy constructs as well as his blasts, very durable and hard to break. He is adept at a variety of ice structures, projectiles, crow bars, balls of ice, ect.

Weaknesses: His emotional state and his ability are linked…Extreme anger or sadness could draw his ability fourth without his permission. Usually it manifests by causing his skin to grow unnaturally cold, occasionally with a very thin sheen of ice or a “snowy” dusting him.

His most obvious/dangerous weakness would be: Extreme Heat. He can stand it, for the most part, but prolonged exposure can cause severe damage or weakness.

Other: Because cold is the absence of heat, Glacier does not actually 'emanate' cold; rather, he decreases thermal energy.

Non-Power Skills:

Use of Small Fire Arms [Intermediate]
Self Defense [Intermediate]
First Aide [Intermediate]

Power Mastery: 4

Personality: Aiden is a complicated individual. He prefers listening to others over talking about himself. His wit is quick and he usually has a sarcastic joke at the ready. He can be brutally honest at times, forgetting that on occasion lying is necessary to improve interpersonal relationships. Some may find his responses to tense situations or dire problems cold or unfeeling…But his time as a rookie patrol officer has taught him to see quickly to heart of a matter, and to ignore the details that aren’t of substance. If he has the choice between saving someone from injury/harm, or protecting their feelings…Individuals around him may want to bring a box of Kleenex. But somewhere underneath all of the ice, remains a warm heart. He simply doesn’t always put it to good use.

Likes: Priya [Sister], Blue Snow Cones, Mountain Dew, Winter
Dislikes: Very hot places, like Volcano’s and Phoenix Arizona. Annoying individuals.
Hobbies: Target Practice, Music, Wine, Learning Spanish (With Difficulty-Required by the LAPD for his area of patrol.)

      [1] [2] [3] [4]
The suit is made of a new experimental material that provides increased protection against concussive forces and fire while carrying inherent cloaking capabilities. Cloaking himself makes him blend into his surroundings making him very hard to spot with the naked eye and extends to what he is touching to some extent. Most weapons can be cloaked. His helmet carries the capabilities to switch to night vision and infrared vision. The helmet also has a built in communicator to talk to others and in the event of oxygen being unavailable can provide oxygen for up to a full hour. The gear carried with his uniform is every changing and can run from guns to nonlethal weapons depending on the situation. Ethan even has access to some experimental technology courtesy of a former contact during his spy days.

Standard Attire: Black leather jacket, t-shirt, blue jeans, black boots.

Place of Birth: Somewhere in the pacific ocean

      Family: Father - Unknown
      Mother - Deceased

History: Ethan was born to a spy and as such trained from a young age to follow in his fathers footsteps. His mother gave birth at sea and died giving birth and therefore he grew up alongside many of his father's friends that were also with his father's agency. While given no formal education his 'family' taught him everything he needed to know. Being an intelligent person he picked up things quickly enough even at a young age. The trade off was that he had no real childhood to speak of. His father didn't take him to baseball games and he never went to school which meant he had no actual friends. By the time he turned sixteen he was more skilled than some veteran spies and his father talked his organization into bringing Ethan into the operation. The teenager quickly found out that his father was not exactly a good guy, but he wasn't necessarily a bad guy either. He did what was necessary. Nothing more nothing less.

Most of the time the organization handled the more 'human' problems that superheroes couldn't be bothered with. The group more than once stopped global threats without them actually becoming true threats. Working in the shadows meant that in a sense technically Ethan Dawn didn't exist. There were times when the organization tackled superhuman problems and Ethan grew used to fighting against superhumans without powers of his own. While his hands weren't exactly clean Ethan didn't consider them really dirty and found it all put towards the greater good. In the spy world he made a name for himself as a person that got things done without once bringing morals into the fold. To him this was the morally right course of action.

Years spent in the organization eventually it gained the notice of the wrong people. A war was raged on them and in the aftermath the organization was burned to the ground and most it's members hunted down and killed. Ethan utilizing his skills disappeared and remained that way for awhile. After some time of moving from place to place and avoiding detection utilizing his skills to do odd jobs here and there eventually he was found. It seemed there was some kind of offshoot group of young heroes that would have been a good fit for him. While initially hesitant Ethan decided that he needed somewhere permanent to go and having teammates could be helpful if the ghosts of his past ever resurfaced and found him.

Superhuman Ability: Ethan is completely human in every aspect of the word, but he is in peak condition. This can allow him to do seemingly superhuman things, but really it is just a result of advanced training.

Strengths: While having no ability his body has been honed into it's own weapon and he is able to pull off some truly amazing things.

Weaknesses: Being human means that he can die just as easily from a gunshot as anyone else.

      Non-Power Skills:

      • Extensive Espionage Training [Master] - Ethan has had extensive training in the field of espionage including, but not limited to-

        • Close Quarters Combat [Master] - Ethan is very knowledgeable of various martial arts that he has used to create a style all his own. He is also knowledgeable in the use of close quarters weapons as part of his extensive training. These can include swords, knives, batons, staffs, etc.

        • Infiltration/Stealth [Master] - Through training Ethan has become like a shadow able to at times seemingly disappear in plain sight. This combined with his skills in such arts as lock picking and access to hacking technology makes him an expert infiltrating being able to get into an enemy's base, retrieve what was required or kill a certain person, and leave before alerting security.

        • Marksmanship [Intermediate] - While not a perfect shot Ethan can nail a bullseye eight times out of ten from a range of no less than 500 yards through the scope of a sniper rifle. At close-mid range he is highly accurate. While he is more skilled with firearms he also has knowledge of bows and crossbows.

        • Interrogation [Intermediate] - Ethan is an expert at interrogation at times able to get what he wants from someone without them even realizes they gave it up. When necessary he is knowledgeable in the ways of torture, but often finds it unneeded as in personal experience people will generally say anything just to get the pain to stop.

        • Acrobatics/Maneuverability [Master] - Ethan has been trained in acrobatics and advance maneuvering to be able to pull off feats of advanced acrobats to reach higher ledges or get through crowded rooms quickly. This extends to some training in parkour.

        • Knowledge of Various languages [Intermediate] - While not fluent in anything other than English, Ethan has trained to understand and speak some Russian, German, French, Italian, and Spanish.

Personality: Ethan is apathetic to most things. He doesn't show much emotion as he typically finds they have no place with him. He has no problem voicing his opinion even if it isn't always kind. Typically he cares little for other's feelings when it comes to things he says, but there have been exceptions. Preferring to appear calm and collected at all times it is not always how he feels on the inside. Fortunately he can put on an expression of indifference and apathy to hide what he might be feeling inside at any given time. He can also imitate other emotions to hide what he is feeling.

Likes: Training, working out, crowded places

      Dislikes: Powers, children, disorder

Hobbies: Staying fit and training is about the extent of Ethan's hobbies.
