Azzo had somehow managed to get the elf job; however, he also kept up with the wrapping present job. They needed all the hands they could get and it was nice to be able to help others that didn't have time to wrap their presents because of various reasons. He was getting better at that every day, they looked less cluster ******** and he was learning how to do ribbons and curl them. This was obviously an important skill for Christmas wrappings.

The amusing thing was, the days he worked as an elf was never dull. There were millions of kids, and he had been sure he blew the interview with his ideals of the holiday. Today though a particularly troublesome group came by, one child kept incessantly trying to cut in line and did everything but throw something at Santa. "Hey, hey now." He said in his chipper elf voice.

"We can't be naughty while we're in line to see Santa!" He was looking at the kid hoping to get him to calm down.

Instead, something else happened; "I can be however, I want! I want to see Santa, NOW!" He practically screamed at Azzo the Elf.

This for a moment earned him a glare but it turned from that to a sigh. "Sometimes you have to wait for good things to come kid, not everything falls on a silver platter. Santa likes for those he gives gifts to, to be kind and caring, not demanding."

The child's mother had said something, and suddenly the kid was talking to his mother in a way that would make a Sailor blush.

"Woah kiddo. I don't know where you learned that language, but you need to stop talking to your mom like that..." He'd seen the woman sort of shrink back and look embarrassed by the way the kid acted. "... Why when I was a young little elfling, if I said anything that mean to my mother I got thrown into the ice cold water of the North Pole. Those sorts of words also earned me a lump of coal from the big man too." He gestured to Santa, hoping the kid would get the message.

However, the kid just stared at Azzo. "You're too big to be an elf, now leave me alone. I want to see Santa now." The child tried to cut in line again and the mother wasn't quick enough to catch him. It didn't take Azzo but a second to catch the kid and move him back to the poor woman.

"If you cut in line like that again kid, you're going to the back. Santa's rules." His arms were crossed and he moved to the front of the line to stand in front of any other kids that got the idea to try to cut in line. This was not going to be an easy day, by no means.

The ear bud Azzo was wearing buzzed to life, "Remember be careful how you handle these kids, some parents might not appreciate it." Azzo tried not to rolled his eyes and whispered into the speaker, "Yeah but this mom can't handle her kid or won't. You said I couldn't let them cut in line, if their parents won't stop them and set them straight I will..."

When the troublesome kid finally managed to make his way to Santa's lap he sat there for a second and then started spilling all sorts of things he "needed" like that newest toy robot, the action figures, a pony, a firetruck.... Azzo sighed shaking his head looking at the mother.

"I'm sorry I had to stop him earlier. We just can't have kids cutting in line; it's to ensure there's not a riot of sorts." He explained looking back at the kid with a frown, there were way to many spoiled rotten brats who thought they could get away with talking to their parents in such a rude manner now-a-days that hadn't been the first kid he'd seen do that either.

"Good luck." He said to the woman as she walked away with the spoiled brat.
