Otami Ruins

Long ago, there was a fierce civilization of warriors that built a huge empire in
the area. So ferocious was their society that they tore themselves apart with
their constant aggression. Eventually, the people themselves disappeared,
leaving only their monolithic statues and ruins behind to tell their story.
Jungles overgrow the entire area and what was once a massive city-state is
now the home of monkeys and macaws.

Quests
Missing Mika
Details -
• Speak with Jerry to accept the quest.
• Locate Mika on the Otami Cliffs and bring her back to Jerry.
• Be careful when bringing her back, if you walk too fast she’ll
stop following you.
• Return to Jerry for your reward.
Returning Regular
(Prerequisite : Missing Mika)
Details -
• Speak with Jerry to accept the quest.
• Locate Peter at the True Believer's clearing in the Old Aqueduct
and convince him to leave the clearing.
• George will be waiting just outside the clearing to return him to
Barton Town.
• Return to Jerry in Otami Ruins once Peter has been convinced to
return with George to Barton Town.
Tiny Troubles ►Repeatable◄
Details -
• Speak with Morgan to accept the quest
• Collect 20 spear heads from the Tiny Terrors in the Otami Ruins.
• Return to Morgan for your reward.
Around the Blood Tree
Details -
• Speak with Blaze to accept the quest.
• Walk around the Blood Tree in the north part of Otami
• When you are in the area where you can see the trunk of the
Blood Tree simply just walk around the trunk without moving to a new
box, until you get the red message confirming you have finished this step.
• Return to Blaze for your reward.
Aiding the Twins
(Prerequisite : Around the Blood Tree)
Details -
• Speak with Blaze to accept the quest.
• Speak to Rin and Lin on the sacred cliffs in the west of Otami Ruins
and do what they ask.
• You can not return to Blaze until after you finish Rin and Lin’s
quest line.
• After you finish The Stone Coatl quest, you can return to Blaze for
your reward.
Merit in the Eyes of the Spirits
(Prerequisite : Talk to Rin and Lin)
Details -
• Speak with Rin to accept the quest.
• You must defeat Feathered Coatls until you get a tropical bird
feather drop.
• You must defeat the Tiny Terrors until you get a spear head drop.
• You must defeat the Bladded Vases until you get a mace head drop.
• You must defeat The Masks of Death and Rebirth until you get a
jeweled eye drop.
• Your PDA won’t update the quest until you finished the first step.
These do have to be done in order.
• Note : Getting these drops may take a very very long time.
Don’t be discouraged if you don’t get the drop in your first five kills
• Return to Rin and Lin with the offerings you have gathered.
The Gauntlet
(Prerequisite : Merit in the Eyes of the Spirits)
Details -
• Speak with Rin to accept the quest.
• High atop the cliffs above the ruins, you must find the idol of Chaloc,
touch it, and then survive the Rain Spirit's Gauntlet.
• This confuses a lot of people. No you don’t have to kill everything in the
Gauntlet. You can, but mainly, you just have to touch it and run like heck to
get out. Once you’re out, you completed the quest.
• Return to Rin now that you have survived the Gauntlet to find out what
you must next do to appease the Spirits.
The Stone Coatl
(Prerequisite : Completed The Gauntlet)
Details -
• Speak with Lin to accept the quest.
• Defeat the avatar of Chaloc in pitched battle within the Throne Room of
the Otami.
• The Giant Stone Coatl is the boss of Otami.
• Return to Lin now that you've defeated Chaloc's avatar to receive your
just rewards.
Feather's For Blaze ►Repeatable◄
(Prerequisite : The Stone Coatl)
Details -
• Speak with Blaze to accept the quest.
• Collect 15 tropical bird feathers for Blaze from the Feathered Coatls in
Otami Ruins.
• Return to Blaze for your reward.
