She wandered the streets, night quickly fallen, the day seemed to be shorter. Silver eyes went to the windows as she shook feeling the breeze on her back, there was a chill on the wind. She huffed and continued on, trying to remember which way to go. But, she couldn't quite remember, couldn't quite find her way to where Ai had been last, while near her master's home.
There was nos cent of her this night, so Reisx stuck to the alleys, the shadows, and passed home and home. She heard laughing, cheering and even crying, but kept her pace. She had no other reason to wander the settlement tonight besides friends, she had no reason to look for food and steal from those unsuspecting pets.
So she walked, quietly, a dark mass moving against the bricks, eyes intent, her spirit focusing her in one direction towards something.

The fence irritated her, but in one corner she had covered it pretty well so that Dorian or her father wouldn't notice the spot she had dug up. Dorian had noticed the other holes she had dug and was very unpleasant when he scolded her. Dorian had let her out to use the bathroom so she only had a bit of time to go explore outside of the fence, which is what she did.
Crawling under the slats she was out, shaking some dirt free of her white coat she pranced about. Now only to time is just right. Exploring time! Digging paws into the ground she took off, making sure to stay closer to her home so she could keep an eye on the house and the lights in her human's room.
Maybe someone would come and play with her at this hour!

Reisx heard the faint sounds of paws, of footsteps in the distance, and she stopped. Her ears flicked forward and she tried to gain more information, but it was futile. Although the night was silent, the wind still, it gave her no information, carried no sound, no scent, leaving her to her own discretion with how to proceed.
Figuring the footsteps couldn't come from the heavy, irritating male, Imnir, Reisx investigated. Ai was indeed smaller than most fighters, at least that was what she assumed, and Reisx decided to check it out.
Rounding a corner she saw a mass of white, small, romping around in the night. Another pup, roaming free? Wait, she stopped, thinking to earlier when she had met Kita, Ai's daughter, but this was was small, and white. Although, she remembered, Ai did have white on her but...not that much.
"What are you doing?" she called from the alley, not wanting to get too close to the house nearby. "Isn't a little past your bedtime?"

The voice made her halt in her sprint, however she lost all traction and landed on her back, having flipped right over. She gave out the tiniest yelp in surprise. Yes she had been looking for someone to play with, but this dark being had literally materialized out of nowhere! Little gold eyes peered into the dark and with the dim lights of the settlement she could see another mokai.
"I'm playing?" Then she giggled, yes she supposed it was past her bedtime. "Papa is in the house getting ready for bed and Dorian let me out for last minute stuff." Looking over at the house she had escaped from. "I just wanted to play a little before I had to go in for the rest of the night." she let gave the sad puppy look, "Play with me for a bit?"

"Playing?" Reisx asked, stepping from the shadows, revealing her spotted body, her dark form, though silver eyes looked on the little one. The golden eyes, they stood out, and she smiled. This had to be another of Ai's, another girl, and this one seemed so, frisky, feisty even, for being so young. Even this one would cause her Papa and new master some grief with exploring just as Kita would, she suspected.
She came close to the pup and looked down at her, so small, round and fluffy. "What are you playing then? You shouldn't run off, not in the night, not yet, you're a little young," she was beginning to sound like a mother, Reisx determined.
"Tell me your name, and we'll play a quick game."

"I'm always playing." She said grinning, "What do you like to play? Hide and seek is my favorite." Taking in this dark mokai's scent, "I'll remember you now." She grinned even wider. The dark scent was nice, not the normal scent that seemed to plague this place. More... natural. "Where are you from?" Still she didn't know this one's name, "I'm Nefertari. I think I'll be ok. My papa and my human are in that house." Pointing at the house behind them, "I just have to stay close. Dorian will get worried if I go to far and dad will scold me again and never let me out of his sight."
Then she thought about her mom. "And I think if I get into any more trouble, dad will tell mom and I won't be able to see my brother or sister for a while because I'll be grounded again."

"Really, always, even in your sleep?" Reisx asked with a wink and a soft laugh. "You have to rest too you know. Have to get strong." She wondered if it was the best idea, encouraging a potential guard mokai tog et stronge, but, those eyes. "We'll do hide and seek, but only close, if I catch you going too far, I'll deliver you to your Papa myself, understood?" she said with a little more stern look, but she did let a smile slip through.
"I'm Reisx, Nefertari, now you go hide, but close," Reisx turned around and sat and began counting.
She knew regardless of the pup's antics, she wouldn't be able to get too far, Reisx had longer legs and would be able to catch her.

"Even in my sleep!" She barked, though she was watching her pitch in case Dorian were to check on the noise. "I promise I will get strong Reisx, just like momma and papa." Then she got a bit disheartened, "I miss momma." She hadn't really seen her since the nursery and then Dorian whisked her away. Heck she missed her brother and sister too. Putting that behind her, she wagged her tail and trotted off to go hide.
Nef had even gotten seriously dirty as she hide behind one of the flowering plants near another home. Still she could see her house so that's all that mattered. Reisx wouldn't be able to find her here, not with her scent somewhat masked by the mud and dirt, right?

Reisx watched as Nef moved too quickly for her to ask who Nef's mother really was, Reisx needed confirmation, she wanted to know for sure. Also, she wanted to know if there were others, more siblings, and she needed to meet the male who gave her pups. Reisx needed to have some words with him. Waiting a little while, she then raised herself and waited. Everything was still, the wind, gentle, and she raised her head, nose to the wind and headed in one direction.
Her paws felt the stone beneath her, so hard in comparison to the soft grass, even the hard stones by the waterfall seemed softer than this. Soon Reisx caught something faint, something...dirty, and she laughed softly coming to where pots lay askew. "You'll have to do better next time little one, did you think a feral couldn't pick out a scent mixed with dirt? Now look at you, c'mere," Reisx motioned, "it will look suspicious if you back back dirty. Let me help you, and you can tell me about your family."

When Reisx found her she pulled her ears back sad that her fun as already come to an end like that. However the sudden reaction to her being dirty made her giggle. She was like mom! Well not exactly, but she had that mothering quality that Nefertari liked. "But I get dirty most of the time. You should see Dorian's yard. I hide things all the time he can't find." Which was mostly true, but Dorian found them and he was usually pretty grumpy about it.
The dark mokai wanted to know about her family? "What did you want to know Reisx?" Curious.

"You don't think he'll wonder how you got this dirty, in your yard?" she asked. "Look at the soil, see those?" she said pointing to the little white pieces, "those aren't in the ground, but just this soil." Reisx began patting the dirt off from Nef, just trying to get all the white pieces off so her owner wouldn't become suspiscious.
When Nef asked, Reisx smiled, and her curiousity would be answered.
"ell me about your family, your parents, siblings, their names," Reisx said while picking Nef's fur clean.

She hadn't thought of that. Dorian would wonder because this soil was much darker than that in his yard and she didn't usually look so dirty when she came in even when she was digging. "I guess you're right." She accepted the other's words. Feeling Reisx get some of the dirt off of her, she smiled. "Do you have any young ones like me?"
Then came the questions of her family. "Well... There's my dad, Erebus, and my mom, Ai. Then I have a sister and a brother, Kita and Jak." She noted. "I remember very little of my siblings, but I do remember them. I miss momma." She gave a little whimper, she had only really spent time with her in the nursery. Dorian had come and snatched her away afterwards. Her father said something about endearing her to him.

"Only trying to help, Nef," she said patting away the remaining white spots, trying to get as much off the white colored fur as possible. There was still some remaining, but not as much. Not enough to be too suspicious now. At Nef's question, Reisx smiled but shook her head, "No, I don't," perhaps one day though. She tried to think of what a mix of her and Cellen would be, rebellious, independent, strong, in her mind, perfectly fine.
Erebus, so that was the male Reisx had to meet...ask questions to.
"You've quite a family, and I'm sure your mom misses you too. She loves you, and cares for you greatly, and I'm sure she'll find you soon, if not, I'll ask her to, would you like that?" she asked with a wink. Perhaps Nef would catch on that Ai was Reisx's friend.
Reisx nudged Nef's shoulder slightly, towards her home, "You should head back, I hear something, just be safe, ok?"
Someday soon she'd try to visit again, besides, she had to, she had to meet this male, and see what kind of male he really was.

It seemed that Reisx knew her mother, which warmed the tiny pup's heart. "I would very much." She replied. She could see the lights in her house begin to go and she knew that Dorian was coming. "Dorian's coming!" She began running back to the fence. Diving under it and getting back on the other side.
"Bye Reisx! Sometime you'll have to meet my daddy. He's really cool sometimes." And then she was escorted in by Dorian who sighed at her. Dirty again.
