Here is where you post up the idea's you have for role-plays. Be specific so that others will know what to expect and exactly what the RP will be about (don't have to post up rules or anything, but maybe the first post that tells the story of the RP). If you like someone's idea on an RP and would like to participate in it then be sure to let them know by telling them so in this thread. cat_blaugh

I suppose I could start informing people of my pride and joy role play "Age of the Paranormal." Simply stating that may explain why I keep the image in my signature at all times >.< Why it is my pride and joy is simple. Its original, the story has kept people hooked and wanting more, and I truly want to make something of it in the future. (book series, movie, game, anything) Anyways I will give a quick summary of it in this post and then I will post an old 'introductory' post so people can get a better read/feel of it. But in all honesty the best way is it to ask me questions xD ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Theme: Good vs Evil, secret organization Setting: Earth (for the most part), in the year 2999 Style: Sci-fi, future, fantasy, action, heavy plot, war, etc. Characters: Generally characters will have powers, but you are not required to have any. You are allowed to create your own race (including description and such), make your own powers, and unique weapons. -Literally, the limit is your imagination. The leader of the good organization is a 2'3" raccoon-dog named Ceed and has elemental magic. Plot: (next to impossible for me to sum up because there are about 5-6 sections/big chapters. So yes it is a long roleplay, but there is plot with all of it and means to go on.) Here is the idea though: Good organization has been around since when Caesar of Rome was assassinated, an organization has rose up to destroy the Holy Cross (good guys) and they are known as The Corrupted. The Corrupted are lead by a demon known as Astaroth who has received incredible power from Lucifer himself. The Holy Cross's current goal is to kill The Corrupted. That is as bland I can say it without spoilers. sweatdrop

Intro to Age of the Paranormal For thousands of years an organization has been hidden to the public. Aliens, beasts, creatures, other races have hid from the public to be a part of it. Werewolves, vampires, humans, cyborgs, and many other races fight along side to fight the evil in the world. This organization has been fighting evil for the longest of time and is still engaged in a constant war. Though playing a huge part in the worlds safety, they still remain to be seen. In the year 50 B.C. a group of men had assassinated a man. This man's name was Julius Caesar. He had attempted to give all the lives of Rome to Lucifer, Satan, for immortality. Though it was put to a stop from the hidden organization. It was from there on that they swore to stop all evil from corrupting the world. As time passed on, events had taken place and were quickly covered up, such as alien findings, and many things like it.
There were a few other famous events such as when a certain paranormal had shown himself to the public. He had gone by the name Hell Boy at the time. He fought off evil with fellow members of the organization, and was able to stop evil in their tracks. Time passed and soon the public had given up on trying to figure out how a "creature" could have appeared in this world. Ironically the world's memory was erased of Hell Boy except one person was missed, who later went on to write a comic book about the man.
A few decades after Hell Boy there was another famous member,Dr. Strange. This member was one of the strongest members of all it's history. In this generation the organization was able to hide their appearances much better than the past. He had fought off a follower of Lucifer, who had attempted to take over the galaxy. Luckily they had easily defeated it with the power of Dr. Strange.
What is the organization's name? The organization has been called many things. Nothing permanent, that is, until a recent leader of the organization had taken over. He called the organization "Holy Cross." The current time of this generation is in 2999. Technology has become quite advanced and the fighters have become even stronger. Another organization has manifested to be called the Corrupted. They are a new evil organization lead by a demon named Astaroth. They are the ones who are trying to rid of the Holy Cross and anyone that has a stand in religion.
So a constant war is being fought, that is the usual story of course. But this, the Age of the Paranormal, nothing is like this. A war that truly has an ending, many twists and turns, and many mind boggling events that have you wanting more. So, you in?
Some of this is subject to change, since really Hell Boy and Dr. Strange are just fun references I had placed in there. These are simply the ones I have started to work on revamping and edit.

Ѻnce upon a time...
...a long, long time ago...
There was a country that was flourishing while its neighboring country was dying, but do not fret, because this country did whatever it could to prevent this from happening. At least it was that way until they demanded that their only princess married one of the many Arabian princes that lived in the thriving kingdom across the harsh desert and river.
The poor kingdom refused to give them the princess, but promised them something greater; a goddess. The rich kingdom agreed, but made them promise to send this goddess to them within a year or they would be forced into a war that they knew was impossible to win. The poor kingdom searched frantically for a young girl that could be considered a goddess, but was slowly beginning to lose hope before a miracle happened.
A ship wrecked upon their shores and the only survivor was a young woman with skin as pale and delicate as a water lily and hair the color of a raging fire. She even spoke another tongue, which would add to the rising belief that she was actually a goddess. They kept her for several weeks to get her used to their culture and search for any real powers, but she showed none. During that short period of time, she became friends with one of her assigned maids and even their princess.
When it was time to ship her off to the rich kingdom, the "goddess" had grown in the hearts of the maid and princess, so the princess disguised herself as a woman warrior that had been chosen by the "goddess" to be a sort of protector, so no one would question why she was there. Now the three girls are going to be forced into a far greater story than ever told before, when love and lust meet, where hearts are broken and friendships are formed. Perhaps the young "goddess" will even come to find this place as her home....
Now it is time for another Arabian night to unfold.
And you are the storyteller.

Nice story. ^_^ It's personally not my cup of tea but, I like how it has a nice storyline and it sounds like there will be lots to play off of. Sounds like an awesome fantasy RP.

Haha, well I hope it'll get soem people's attention here in the RPing forum, 'cause I'm really in need of some more online entertainment. XD

I have TWO new ideas for rps and I want you guys to pick one that you might like. If you don't like either well.....that's that ^_^
Story One: All Is Fair In Blood and War (crappy title right xD)
After years of war, the humans and the Vampire finally find a way to coexist...However, no one ever said it was a peaceful coexistence. Although they are usually in separate spheres, the Vampires occasionally pick a few humans that they 'like'. These humans become their slaves and food source. With these abductions going on, will things remain docile, or is it time for another war?
Story Two: School of Secrets
"Welcome to Mrs. Hartford's School for the Gifted! Your child will be well cared for while learning to harness their abilities. We might be teaching them, but everyday, they teach us as well." At least that's what it said on the invite. Each year this school selects a few students to attend for their 'special abilities'. The school is actually a nice facility, if you don't mind rigorous tesing and training. Oh yeah, if Headmaster Hartford doesn't feel you're up to par, you'll be 'expelled'. So uh...escape anyone?

Ok so I don't have a title for it yet. Character amount will change depending on how many people are involved. Feedback is needed
It’s the year 2561. The country Gabbath has taken over the west hemisphere of the world. Nukes and plasma bombs have been exploding over the eastern world. Militia have been arriving by the day under the rule of Joey Patonith, dictator of Gabbath, and invading countries by the hours. Sallien, one of the last biggest nations of the eastern hemisphere, has been at war for some time with Gabbath. They are the only ones left in the war, but they do not stand a chance. President Ramond has been evacuating his nation into underground cities to protect against the nukes. Everyone frantically went to the prophets within the smaller regions to find out their fate. Each prophet has prophesized that the only hope was in 5 special individuals who had unique abilities. They each held the power to rebuild and win the war against the dictator. The only problem was that they only knew these individuals had a special marking that has been present since birth that was on their upper left shoulder. Not even the prophets know that this marking will only be present when the individuals are sleeping, but this critical detail would have to be discovered.
In the year 2691, President Ramond announced that the citizens would go back to the surface and live their lives in secret. They would live like a Gabbathian, but would continue to seek out these 5 individuals. The only hope for the east was these 5 individuals who know nothing of each other, but have to someone find one another.
Characters:
-The Dictator (when it comes time)
-Character #1 - Medicine
-Character #2 – Mechanical
-Character #3 – Survivalist
-Character #4 – Logic, Thinking, and Brain power
-Character #5 – Physical abilities
Each character ability is user designed. Meaning who ever plays that part gets to choose the ability that falls into the category that you are in. The categories can be changed if better ideas are thought. It has to be a category that a normal person can be in, but the characters go beyond what a normal person can do but discretely. Meaning they are more than what meets the eye. These are just ideas and if you have anything better to add or remove then please let me know. I want to develop it more, but input is needed.
