Hathor let out a heavy sigh as she heard the sounds before going silent listing. She could have sworn she heard a voice maybe? She pushed closer to the wall resting her ear against it. She gasped and pulled away from the wall and quickly moved to find a way into the next room. "We think...we think its brother!" she yelled out as she began to claw at mud wall that looked to be ceiling the next room shut from their end.
Finally she was able to make a small hole in the door. She listened closer she wasn't about to get her hope up and call out no she still wanted to make her brother pay for what he had done.
She began clawing again at the door trying to make the hole bigger this began to make her mad cause it was stuck together pretty tightly. She began to growl and look at the roots and mud with a rather malevolent look.

"Uh..." He paused and watched Hathor rip at the base of the temple. "I really don't think that's a good idea honestly...I mean something else might colapse- on us..." He said softer as he just stood and listened to the continued clawing in the darkness. "Really...you should be careful. I'm sure there is another safer way around. These are scribes...so perhaps they left a map?" The only problem was he needed a map to get to the map room.

Hathor didn't listen she just kept clawing then suddenly sand began to poke out from the hole she made. She gasped and began to back away as bugs began crawling out of the hole along with the sand. She almost let out another scream but she reminded herself of how the got trapped in the place so she quickly swallowed it down. She quickly butted Zorua shoulder.
"Go go go!!" She whined out wanting to get as far as she could from the evil creatures. "We wish to leave now! We want out!" She said as she moved quickly from the door only to run face first into a wall. She grunted and slumped down to the floor pretty dazed and out of it.
"Nnn...We don't feel so good." She muttered softly before dropping her head onto her front legs panting a little from the splitting head ache. "We wish to go. Beloved we want out. We don't care about brother. We just want out safely with you beside us."

He nodded and nuzzled her head. "I'll get you out of here. Lets just go find that map. I have a strange feeling we are pretty close to it; and the route seams safe." Well that was a funny sensation. When he turned his head in different directions it became like a beacon what was safe and what was dangerous. He raised a lip confused- well that had certainly never happened before to say the least.
"I just have this strange feeling..." He put out a paw and helped her to her own. "A strange feeling-" His head scanned about and like a light it shined him forward towards a damp room filled with over grown vines. "It's safe. I promise...just don't ask me how...I don't know myself." He pushed away some of the dank vines leading to a chamber up ahead. "And that room..." He concentrated as hard as he could. "Is not so safe. But that leads us to the map- so we have to go in it." He frowned.

The female didn't asked she looked to her beloved taking a deep breath before giving a small nod trusting him. She took the end of his tail into her mouth again as she let him lead the way. She was really nervous when he pushed on the door and then it swung open for them. There was a very thing path with large pit below full of snakes. She looked down at the curiously before looking to Zorua really hoping that he was not afraid of heights otherwise they might be screwed.
In the middle of the room on a pedestal rested the map. she dropped his tail and moved over to the edge of the floor getting a closer look at all the snakes. "We believe they are breeding..." She said shivering a little before looking back to the male. Her cheeks grew a little flush. Would they ever get to the point to breed or would they die here in this temple.

He looked down at the snakes and his head began to throb with pain. He rubbed his head which was now sweating profusely. But he wasn't afraid of snakes; so why was his head hurting so much. He gritted his teeth and tried to calm his nerves. Why would scribes keep a pit full of snakes anyways? He would have to go into the new temple and see if there were pit's there. Though joking aside he had to think of some way to keep his head from screaming out the obvious danger that was below them.
"I can do this. I can do this." He repeated but when he looked down to the snakes again the pain reared up in his mind like one of them had bit him.
"DAMN why did it have to be SNAKES?" He growled and kept his eyes straight forward off the beasts below him. He then trotted forward with hard angry steps across the creaky board until he reached the center that was holding a scroll. Undoubtedly the map to the entire place. He then gripped it in his teeth and started to stomp across the boards angrier then ever- then the pain came into his head brighter then before. But wait he wasn't looking at the snakes. What was going on?
He then heard the crack below him. His pounding has caused the board to give out. He made a run and jump for it and hung onto the stones on the ledge for dear life. The snakes which had been breeding were now aware there was something to eat; or bite in his case and started quickly slithering towards his tail. All he had to do was hang on; but his head and the pain, it was only a matter of time before he would slip if it continued.

Hathor watched him curiously tilting her head. She panicked a little watching him. She tried to warn him but before she could the board gave way and he was lunging. She quickly moved to grab a hold of him biting onto his shoulder. She could make up for it later she needed him safe and away from the snakes. She finally got him up she growled at the snakes letting them know she had laid her claim to the male and if they wanted him they'd had to go through her.
Turning to the male she pounced him and began to look him over making sure he hadn't gotten bitten. She let out a small whine before nuzzling his neck and licking where she had bite him. "Beloved." She whined softly before licking his cheek. "We don't want you ever doing that again." she said in a growled before pressing her nose against his.
"Understood?" She asked sternly still in a huff.

Her teeth had broke the pain in his head as she had dragged him onto the soild ground. He let the map roll out of his mouth and onto her paws. "But my head. It hurts...and I don't know why." Although the pain had stopped considerably now that they had moved some distance from the snakes. "I can't stop the pain- and it only comes when there is grave danger." He nuzzled her as his eyes teared from the fear that was welling up from this new uncontrollable sensation. "You should take the map and lead us." He nosed it at her as he was still laying on the ground.
"I may be dangerous with whats going on in my head."

She frowned as she nosed him a little more. "Beloved..." she said softly before sighing. she laid down beside him as she began to lick his face. "We shall rest for now beloved." she told him looking to the snake pit ever so ofter making sure they would not come to them.
"We will go once you are ready now rush beloved I cannot do this without you." She told him as she relaxed against him feeling a lot calmer now he was safely beside her. "Has this happened before beloved?" She asked curiously wounder what was making her mate so hurt and uncomfortable. She licked at the mark on his shoulder again.
"Forgive me beloved we did not mean to hurt you." She whispered softly to him before rubber her face against his cheek not able to stop herself from being sweet with him.

"No you didn't hurt me...you made the pain go away and saved my life. I know I'm safe with you always." He gave her a nuzzle as his head didn't buzz as long as Hathor was close to him. He then shook his head. "No this has never happened. I mean I always had a 6th scene when it came to danger...but tonight- in this temple...something came to life in me that I didn't know was there." He rubbed his head again still feeling the dull throb from earlier. "And it's a good thing- I can tell...but I don't know what it is or how to control it." His head flopped onto the ground glad to be taking a rest. This temple was going to drain the life out of him.
