Hathor was fast asleep inside her beloved den the sun was peek in through the opening. She let out a small whine as she nuzzled her paws that rested in front of her. She soon stood only to let out a slight gasp as her beloved fell onto his side having been resting beside her. She smiled and leaned over nosing his mane softly. She licked his forehead a few times to wake him. This was all new to her all the mushy feelings but it was so nice. She looked around as she waited for the male. Once he was away she stretched and let out a tired yawn.
"We think the sands have faded away." she said looking out the mouth of their home. she could no longer see the sand in the sky so hopefully they could go searching once again.
"We have a good feeling." She said before looking to the male. "We know beloved will help us find him." She said as she moved to the mouth of the den stepping out into the sun. she let out a small whine already the sun beat hard against her she never had been more thankful for her white pelt till the drought had come to the pride.

He woke up with a yawn his sharp teeth poking into the empty air. He only supposed they were so sharp because he hasn't warn them down from hunting...only eating remains of dead birds and such. He licked the inside of his lips feeling them be more dry then the liked. Oh how much he wished for the drought to be over, but his mind and vision turned to Hathor- the lioness he still didn't know the name of.
"Yes...yes...lets look for him." He poked a head outside the den and cringed at the heat. Maybe they should have looked for her brother in the night time. He then lifted up one side of his mouth in a half smile- oh but then they wouldn't have had such wonderful snuggles! Oh well it all worked out for the best didn't it?

The female looked to the male making sure he was following her out of the Den she then put her attention back onto the pride. She began to wounder where she should look today. She had searched everywhere. She could go back to his den...but then that female might be there she couldn't stop the cold look coming to her face that female. She quickly closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She pushed the furry from her. She didn't need it affect her and then take it out on her beloved no that would just kill her.
Turning to the male she moved closer to him getting a quick nuzzle from him a she nosed his cheek softly in affectionate 'good morning hello'. She then began walking closely to the male she could walk ahead but next to him was just so much more fun especially when he gave her that smile. The one that mad her cold heart turn into a melt lava pit of goo.
"We shall look for him in the scribe temples." She said with a slight nod as she lead the way to the temples. she had no idea she was going to some of the much older scribe temples the ones that had become a bit to unstable to house any lions in. She had no idea they had moved to one of the other temples exploring it since the one she knew about had nothing left to offer them.

He nodded and trotted just behind her head so he could walk next to her but let her lead all at the same time. But as they started nearing the temple that held the old scribe house his eyes met a stone on top that looked like it could fall any second and seal the place shut. It would take much more then the two of them to unwedge themselves if they got in trouble.
"You know- I have a bad feeling about going into that place..."
His eyes wandered back to the unlit entrance-way. "Though if you go in I'll go in. I promised I'd help you find your brother after all." But he really didn't think this idea was too safe in the least bit. The only thing promising from going in there was it that it would be much cooler.

She looked at the temple and then the male. she was nervous seeing the way it seemed to be barley handing on up there but if Sa was in there she had to get him out. She let out a small whine before giving a quick nod. "We should hurry and move lightly." she said as she made her way first into the temple. She began looking around it was rather dark the further you go in. She frowned usually it was always well lit with firefly's and sometimes by the occasional flame if they had it.
She looked back smiled when he followed her inside she then turned back and began walking only to go stiff. She had walked right into a spiderweb and this one was a large one. She didn't move let alone breath. "Be-beloved...." she squealed out cutely as she began to back up into a pillar that creaked a bit from the bump. "We wish to be free of this stupid net!" She yelled out suddenly before screaming out as the spider ran across her nose. She began taking her had and pawing at her face trying to get it off.

His red eyes traveled over the inside of the temples walks. It was worse on the inside then it had been on the outside. The small bump did more then just make it creak and in response the spiders seamed to scatter like mice on a sinking ship. Suddenly there was a loud CRACK then THUD and the entire place went dark- they were sealed in good now.
Zorua jumped back and landed right on Hathor and in the middle of the empty webs. "I-I can't see anything." He whimpered softly back to her. He put out a paw and felt around till he touched her face. Now he knew what being blind felt like. "W-w-what just happened?"

Hathor gasped and looked to the temple panicking now more then ever they where trapped. No they can't be trapped what cruel fate had brought them together only to let them die just soon after discovering their feelings for one another. She calmed feeling the paws on her face she began to breath easier as she reached to him and began to push the webs from his face before moving closer snuggling into his side.
"We have to find a way out." She said hoping that they would get some light. she jumped when more rocks began to fall outside letting in a few rays of sun. She looked to the wounder if they could some how manage to make the small holes bigger.
"There beloved maybe if we get there." She said as she moved to the large pillar that now was leaning on its side. She jumped on top of it so far it held her weight.

"I don't know if we should go picking at those rocks...I just don't have a good feeling about that." He squinted at the small amount of light letting his eyes adjust. "I think we should go deeper. This place has got to have another safer way out." He lifted up a paw as carefully as he could trying not to knock anything or bump the walls walking forward. "We just have to be mindful of each step we take."
He frowned and looked at Hathor. "I'll lead...so I can protect you from the spiders." He smiled but he doubted she would see it in the dark.

She was touched by the males sudden drive to take them to a safer place and protect her from the big huge spiders. She jumped off the pillar and began to walk behind him. She took the end of his tail into her mouth that was she could follow him without having to constantly feel ahead of her for him.
She went down the path with him growing more and more nervous she hated not being able to see if this is what her mother went through on a daily basis she would have to snuggle her mother extra good and never let the poor female out of her sight should she wouldn't get stuck in this situation.
She dropped the tail when she started to hear strange sounds she let out a smal whine as she moved closer to her beloved her shoulder resting against his hip. "Beloved...what is making those sounds?" She said looking to him she almost felt like demanding the answer from the temple but loud sounds didn't work so well here.

He pricked up his ears and listened carefully. "Um..." He flicked an ear in another direction at the sound of a falling rock. "I'm going to assume that it's another cave in." His ears flattened against his skull afraid they would be trapped in there forever. "But it honestly sounds like a couple of misplaced rocks sliding about and hitting the floor after that doozie back there. I wouldn't worry about it too much." But he was worried and his heart was pounding a mile a minute. What if it had really been another cave in? What if they were trapped from both ends. This brother better have been worth all the effort. He got cross as he thought of Hathor. The nerve of some people to kill family looking for them like this. Oh he had a good word or two to give this lion when he met him.
