The skeltal frames of the trees loomed overhead of the femme as she padded nonchalantly though the land. Oh, yes, she knew she had crossed a boundary somewhere along the way but there was little care. Nope, this femme radiated confidence and self control and there was nothing that was going to bring that down.
A woodpecker hammered a tree causing the burnt hued femme to twitch an ear in response but she did not pause of falter. Instead her eyes were drawn to the rustle of foliage and the sight of a brown fuzzy animal leaping across her path. Witha grin the she wolf dashed after the rodent that made a flee for it's life. Paws trapped the poor creature as jaws bit into its flesh killing it instanly by breaking its back. MMmmm yes, life was good.

Wheeeee! The sound of the little pup sliding across the icy surface of a puddle could be heard bouncing from every tree in the vicinity. Never had the little one seen water like this before, heck he wasn't even aware it WAS water. He tapped his paw against its slippery surface and gazed at his misty reflection before stepping upon it once more.
Slowly he slid from one side of the puddle to the other, wincing at the splintering sound beneath his paws.
So much had been goign on in the area lately, with new wolves turning up an life becoming more exciting. Now he had found this magical place on the ground that let him slide around on his paws....
or rather...on his belly.
For at that moment the wolf was on the ground, legs splayed out around him as he stared up at the empty canopy. Ouchies, slippery slide 'urts! He got up, shook himself and slithered slowly over to the edge where he found safety upon the snow covered ground.
