It was that time.
That absolutely dreaded time.
Hel stood on the platform, staring down at the track with a furrowed brow as she shouldered her large messenger back. You know, she usually liked riding the train…but with what waited them at the end of their destination…she wasn’t as excited as she usually was about it. Oh well…family obligations and what not.
The ghoul looked at the cowboil beside her, having waited for him outside the reaper dorms before making their way to the train station. She then looked beyond him, trying to find a particular undead student. She was really hoping he’d show up before her sister did…it’d be harder for Freya to tell him to go away if he was he already here. Speaking of Freya…the ghoul was no where in sight either…bah…she was probably dragging her feet…Hel looked back at Mot. “…Ah…” She looked a bit sheepish, glancing around once more. “…Thank you for agreeing to come again, friend.”

Mot stood with Hel, his overnight bag shouldered, and his thumbs in the belt loops of his jean. He'd agreed to this easily enough, but now that the day had come, Mot was nervous. For a number of reasons. He was going to a wedding as Hel's accompaniment. Date, so to speak. It was strange. He was worried, since he vaguely was aware that Valkyrie customs were different from anything he knew. Would he survive the weekend?
"Oh." He was pulled from his thinking. "No, not a problem."

This was probably a terrible idea, but that didn't stop Herryk from being excited. Apprehensive, yes, but more excited than anything.
He'd never visited the train station, but he caught sight of Hel and Mot almost immediately. It wasn't hard to miss a wee little valkyrie standing next to a cowboil reaper. No Freya to be seen, and Herryk couldn't decide if that was a good thing or a bad thing.
Slowly jogging up to the pair, Herryk shuffled to a stop before resting his ratty leather knapsack at his feet. He gave a weak smile to Hel and Mot.
"Hello, friends."

There was a shadow in the air just above Herryk, and a gust of air against his back, before something heavy thumped against him.
"Yeh came to say goodbyes!" She practically screeched out to the boil, dropping the two bags she'd been holding and wrapping her arms around his back. Her wings folded behind her once she'd stopped using them, and she cuddled him like a great big teddy bear.
"That's so sweet of yeh." She climbed up an inch, and peered at her sister and Mot over Herryk's shoulder, her eyes bright with the kind of fierceness that dared them to call her on how smitten she was.
She'd been moody ever since she'd left her dorm, and moodier when she couldn't get in contact with Herryk before she left. Her mood had lifted the second she'd seen the blot of black in the distance as she flew to the train station stop, however.

Hel still didn’t think Mot knew what he was in for exactly but uh…yeah…it was too late for him to back out now. Not only would she be incredibly disappointed, but it’d just be rude after she already informed her family he’d be attending. Good thing Mot was such a gentleman and would stick to his decision regardless…
She’d just be keeping a very, very close eye on him over the weekend…that’s all.
The valkyrie seemed relieved when the next person to arrive to their little entourage happened to be Herryk. Oh good. This meant they were only waiting on Freya now, and it would be easier to secure Herryk’s place since he was here with them now. “Good morning, friend.” She greeted in returning, offering the draugr a small smile, but blinked in surprise as her sister suddenly dropped in on him. When Freya peeked over his shoulder at her and Mot, she just raised a brow. Oooh Freya…how wrong you were. “How nice of you to drop in finally, sister.” The younger valkyrie piped up.
“There won’t be any good byes though! Now that we’re all here, we just wait for the train now.”

Mot looked up as Herryk approached, blinking harshly at the large undead. He'd forgotten just how intimidating the big lug looked. Of course, once he opened his mouth, he didn't feel so bad. "Howdy, partner." Mot responded, nodding his head. Right, the four of them were going together. Ugh. That meant...
Freya.
And there she was, fallen from the sky and dropped onto the large undead's back. Mot managed not to grimace upon seeing her, simply nodding.
Wait.. Freya thought that... what was Hel up to?

The weak smile that had graced Herryk's face turned almost sickly as he felt a familiar weight upon his back. His eyes widened as he heard Hel's comment about no goodbyes, and while Herryk would have preferred a more... face-to-face type exchange, well, maybe it would be easier to explain when he didn't have to look at Freya's expression.
His voice was disgustingly chipper.
"Surprise, ladybird! Herryk is coming to the wedding. Is this not wonderful? Herryk is very excited to spend time with his ladybird."
A forced laugh burst past Herryk's lips before silence ensued.

Freya's smile never left her lips, even as the cheerful light left her eyes for something far more horrific. They rested solely on Hel, staring wildly, waiting for some kind of 'lol jk!' moment.
It never came.
"Ahahaha..wait." Her nervous laughter died out.
"What?!"

Hel just stared back at her sister. Sweetly. Too sweetly. A sickly kind of sweet.
The reaper clapped her hands, ignoring Freya’s outburst. “Excellent, we’re all here, now! The more the merrier, yes? Since you’ve been…ah…preoccupied, sister, I invited Herryk on your behalf! No worries, I also wrote home to mama and papa about it, so they are very much aware.” Dastardly sister of the year award goes to…
Hel’s head snapped in the direction of the train that was approaching. “Oh look, here it comes! Most excellent.” The valkyrie shifted, anxiously awaiting for it to stop.

Wait...wait.. what was going on here? Mot was obviously being left out of some kind of information here. Important, perhaps. Weren't Freya and Herryk like... disgustingly close? So why was it seeming like they were being set up? "Uuuuh..."
Oh look, a train!
"OH THANK JACK." Mot yelped out as the doors to the train opened, tossing himself inside as quickly as his long legs would let him.

"Herryk has never been on a train before, hah hah! This is a first for Herryk! A train! Herryk never thought he would be riding on a train! Herryk is excited to be on this train -- he is very excited! Is Freya excited? Herryk hopes so."
It was almost as though by rambling on and on Herryk was evading the eventual explosion.
"Ladybird, let Herryk get your bags, here we go. All aboard, hah hah!"
Shut up, Herryk.
Herryk started to make his way onto the train.

Wait.
Wait, what was even happening.
Freya's smile finally fell as she looked from Hel to Mot to Herryk and back again. Mot seemed like the only innocent in this terrible web of lies and deception. When Herryk started boarding the train, she snapped out of the trance of surprise she had succumbed to, and her arms wrapped around Herryk's big meaty arm, trying to pull him back. It became a test of strength, and she was failing. Her heels dug into the ground and left a trail in the ground as she was pulled along anyway.
"No nnoononononnooon Herryk no Herryk no Herryk no!!" Did he have any idea what he was signing himself up for?!

Hel looked exasperated as Mot yelped and then practically flew onto the train as soon as he could. Oh thanks! Nice waiting there, cowboil. Hel looked back at Herryk as he started to ramble, giving the undead an encouraging smile before looking over at her sister. “Oh yes, Herryk, yes. It will be a pleasant train ride, yes?” Hopefully.
The ghoul skirted around the draugr and her sister, as the older valkyrie tried stopping him, though it was of no use. The reaper then dashed down the aisle of the train until she found Mot, and practically bowled into the seat right beside him. It was rather juvenile, she wanted to sit right next to the cowboil for this entire trip in the worst way possible. She sat up immediately then, straightening herself out as she looked over at Mot, grinning. “Freya said no guests, but I begged to differ.” She cackled then, pulled off her bag and tucking it under her seat for now.

Mot flinched as there was suddenly a small Valkyrie sitting beside him. He blinked down at the ghoul, giving her an incredulous look. "So what is it exactly you're concocting in that mind of yours?" He asked with a brow raised high. "Why go against your sister's wishes?" Not that he cared or anything. It was just now that he had to put up with a possible tension the whole train ride there.
...
"How.. long will this take?"

"Freya, on the train," Herryk grunted, dragging the valkyrie aboard. Her fight to stop him was doomed to failure. "Herryk has all the luggage now up Freya goes." He moved himself so that he was behind her, almost physically shoving her up the steps and into the train car.
Well, at least she wasn't screaming at him. Now all he had to do was make his way to Mot and Hel -- maybe Freya would explode at Hel, taking the heat off of Herryk in the process.
