Quickly as he could he took Hathor back to his small pad in the desert. It wasn't big enough for two lions to be comfortable on the inside- but it would make due in this heat. At least they could pass the rest of the day in safety.

And when he thought the heat would never end the sun finally set on the dunes. A small chill broke over his spine from the temperature difference. He looked over to Hathor and gave her a nuzzle. "It's safe to go outside and continue looking. We can cover more ground at night." He gave a stretch forgetting how cramped the space was. "And er sorry for the space. I was never planning on company." He reminded himself when he got free time that he was going to need to dig a bigger hole for the pair. This space would never do.

she was still fast asleep curled up at his side. Her ears twitched hearing his words she was slow to wake she looked around curiously she was about to panic not remembering how she got there till she noticed the large lump of fur beside her it almost brought a smile to her lips. She looked around again it was a bit cramped but honestly she like it. It was a good excuse to be beside the other.
"We are fine with the space." She said softly before getting to her feet slowly. she stretched out her limbs letting out a loud tired yawn before noticing it was dark outside. She looked to the male curiously as she walked out of home out into the fresh air. She didn't fell the rush or the urge to find her brother no it was stated now surprisingly by this males presences.
She closed her eyes and enjoy the cool wind wash over her before she gave a small shudder she looked back to him curiously before looking away. She had many things she should tell him now? Should she wait? She should ever tell him? She had to assume this wouldn't last like everything else. She quickly looked to her paws. What would she do if it didn't last?

He let out a long sigh happy she was content with the arrangements. He didn't want to offend her in any way he really liked her. He shimmed out into the moonlight and looked up as the stars started to come out. He then took a paw and pointed to the one. "If you make a wish on the brightest star, your wish will come true." His mom had taught him that since he was young. And he had always wished to be smarter, braver, and wiser; and though for the most part his wishes had not come true he assumed it was because he was making wishes that didn't come from the heart. Momma said they had to be 'special' wishes for them to some true, but at that young age he didn't know what that meant. Now he did.
He looked over to Hathor. "I know I'm not supposed to tell what you've wished for...but I wished we could be together forever." He smiled warmly at her really enjoying her company.

The female bright blue eyes looked into the male vibrant red. She couldn't stop the tears even if she tried. He wanted to be with her so badly he didn't care that she hadn't been exactly nice to him making him help her in finding her brother sure she had feed him but she had also yelled at him more then once. Yet here he was still wanting to be with her. She was confused usually no one but Sa would stick out with her this long. She let out a small whine before leaning into the male. "We wish that too." She replied softly muffled mostly from her face nuzzling his neck.
"We wish that too." she said again so he could better hear her as she pulled from his warm body. "We wish forever to be with our beloved." She said before getting a little bashful from how she was acting it was so odd acting so mushy. She rested her cheek against her shoulder trying to hide her face.

His warm tongue genitally cleared away the tears streaming down her face. "There is no need to hide your face. Your beautiful with the tears." He rested his head lightly upon her neck. So this is what mother meant about a wish coming true. Oh how right she was to wish with one's heart. He put a paw onto one of hers. "I'll make that wish come true then. We will be together forever; even in eternity."
His sister said that if they were good and pure at heart then the god of the Duat (Egyptian underworld) would allow them to pass threw his gates and let them live on forever. "I will take you to the Duat with me when I die; and we will live forever in the god's care."

She closed one of her eyes as he licked her cheek. She let out a small whined as she leaned into him nuzzling his fur. She didn't care she was making it a bit wet from what was left of her tears. She didn't pull away she stayed where it was warm nice and simple. She felt herself slowly drifting off back to sleep but before she let sleep take her she pulled away from him and did her best to wake up. She took a deep breath and stretched out before looking around she had almost forgotten what they where doing out there amongst the stars.
"We should..." She grew quite as she leaned back into his side. "look for brother." She said softly no longer calling her brother beloved why should she? This male had taught her that he was no longer her beloved that title had been given to another.
"We shall...go later." She said finally scooting closer to him nuzzling her cheek against his shoulder.

He nodded and nuzzled further into her. "Anything you like m'love." Oh that word boiled up from his belly to his mouth with a fiery passion. It felt so good to say it and he felt the urge to say it again; but his mouth still tingled from the first time and he didn't want to over do it. But oh he had too. "I l-l-love you." It stammered out slowly not as fiery as the first. Apparently you could only say the 'L' word so many times before burning ones mouth.
"Yes...later...we can look for him...when there is more light." He made up a weak excuse even if it was already bright enough with the moon and stars shining over them perfectly.

Hathor smiled softly and only snuggled further into him. She pulled away just enough to leave up and lick his cheek. "We love you too." She whispered into his ear before letting out a playful growl and nipping his ear. She leaned back into him closing her eyes and listing to his heart beat.
She listing to him and suddenly she couldn't do anything to stop the small laughter that left her. She leaned into him more shaking her head softly as she looked to the male curiously a moment.
"First we aren't allowed to go out in the day and now we are not allowed to look at night." She teased him before her tail moved to coil around his as she rested her head against his shoulder.
"Beloved you make us smile for more then we ever thought possible." She said looking up to the stars taking a deep breath. Tomorrow they would go and search for her brother. This time she was determined to find him she had searched for her far to long.

He scratched his head monetarily thinking about her words. "Well now hey...I didn't say we couldn't go look for him now." He joshed back. "I'm just more content with you here...though-" He falsely moved pretending to get up. "WE could always go look for him right now..." He then settled back down next to her with a yawn. "But ya know I'm kinda feeling sleepy..." He gave her a wink. "We shouldn't go out into the desert if we are sleepy...just as a precaution." He gave another small chuckle and settled into the sand comfortably with her by his side.
