Crimes: High Treason and uncountable murders, thefts, and countless other crimes. But all that aside she is here looking for her twin brother who was convicted in her place.
Personality/Motivation: Melrose's personality is witty with a crude sense of humor, she cares about innocent people, but not if it interferes with her line of work (being an assassin), she is heartless but has a weak spot for children and close friends, other than that if your in her way you will die without a second thought. She seldom becomes angry, but no matter how hard the task, she will see it through.
Dreams and Fears: Her dreams were crushed out of her by her father, and in its place only a single minded determination to be a sufficient assassin for her family no matter what the sacrifice. Her fears are losing her twin brother, who was meant to be the family assassin but was too weak.
Biography: Her family is a long line of crime lords and the leaders of an underground resistance (to what has been kept a secret). But on the out side the Berkeleys were a respectable, wealthy, noble family. Although her family dabbles in darkness, only one member, usually the eldest son, would be chosen to inherit the dirty tasks that require their reputation to exist. Melrose and her twin brother Richard were born into the family that was responsible for supplying this family assassin, however Richard, the older one, proved to be to weak to handle this task so the job was handed to Melrose. A year ago, her family's dark secrets were uncovered and no amount of bribes would be able to cover them. A series of inquisitions, regarding who was the assassin responsible for the family's heinous crimes, was conducted, and when Melrose, with concern for her family, was about to confess, Richard suddenly took the blame and was prosecuted. But Melrose couldn't let her sensitive beloved brother be taken to such a horrible place, he wouldn't survive. So so she "broke in" to rescue him.
Other: She uses a variety of weapons, and tends not to socialize with others. Even her own family shuns her, so she tends to keep a distance and just watch the people around her.
