It had taken a few weeks after the battle on the surrounding for him to finally make good on the promise he'd made to call Leto - Quinn. Oh, it certainly was none of her fault - if anything, the battle had only cemented her status as a 'true ally' in his mind, even if some of the negaverse agents were still far from convinced - but the idea of revealing his civilian identity... Well, it was still a large step to take, no matter who was to be the recipient of it. Not many in the negaverse knew of it. Sure, they knew he was Fluorite's brother and might be able to somehow guess... But the ones who could say they actually knew without the shadow of a doubt ?
Not many. It was, perhaps, his way to keep the two lives separate. He had let them mix once, and... the results had been disastrous. So perhaps it was also protection, in a way.
And he was about to let go of that protection. It made him nervous, but in a way it was also a sign of good will - the alliance in between the negaverse and the dark mirror was still shaky. If he could do anything to try to strengthen it...
Well.
So he was waiting in the small cafe, sipping on some green tea while he waited for her to show up. He'd mentioned waiting for someone, so hopefully the waitress would lead her to him and it would help them connect the dots.

Unlike Alunite, Leto was much less nervous and reluctant about revealing her civilian identity to someone. Well, sorta. Nearly all of the Dark Mirror Senshi knew exactly who she was, but she had only revealed herself to one Negaverse Agent since turning to Chaos. But, she figured that if Alunite was a Corrupted Senshi, the two of them were close enough to being on the same team (even if technically was in the Negaverse) that it wasn't a big deal.
She really didn't even notice how much time had passed between her telling him to call her some time and the point in which he actually did call her. Truth be told, she was glad it took so long since she'd been out of commission for a while due to her busted knee. So several weeks later, she was happy to go on patrol even if he did want to meet as civilians first.
Quinn slipped into the cafe and took a quick look around. Okay, no one with a ridiculously long ponytail- maybe he wasn't kidding about it not existing in civilian form. She made her way over to the hostess and mentioned that she was meeting someone, a boy, probably about her age. The hostess quickly pointed to a purple-haired gentleman sipping on tea. Quinn smiled and nodded at the girl before making her way over to Matthew.
She chewed on her bottom lip as she plopped herself down in front of him. "Matthew?," she asked, quirking an eyebrow at him.
If he wasn't the right guy, apparently she'd be making a new friend tonight.

Thankfully for Quinn, she had the right guy, even if there was a lack of giant ponytail. "Quinn, right ? It's been awhile." Light banter, really - if anyone was actually listening to them, they wouldn't really think twice about what those two were meeting for.
It was a fine art that Matthew hoped he had mastered by now.
"How have you been ?" He asked with a grin, waving a waitress over so that the brown-haired girl could get something if she wanted. He had full intention of paying, of course - after all, this had been his idea.

"That's my name, don't wear it out," she said as she leaned back in her chair, the front two legs lifting off of the ground as she did so.
She was peering at him almost awkwardly as he spoke and waved over the waitress. Huh, no long hair. She quickly ordered a regular ol' tea, double cream double sugar. When the waitress walked away, Quinn, however, was much less inconspicuous about her other life when in civilian form.
"I've been shitty. I got my a** kicked in the park by two lovely ladies... So it's a good thing you took so long to call me! Wouldn't think I was so pretty with a busted up face," she grinned at him across the table.

"I'll have to remember it." He said with a carefree grin - doing his best to push his anxiety as far down as it could possibly go - and leaned back in his chair, cup of tea in hand, as Quinn gave her order.
Double cream and double sugar ? That was probably a sin. His grandmother would probably have already been nagging her head off, but he managed to hold himself back, through he did quirk a brow.
"Should I be keeping an eye out for certain... troublemakers, then ?" Yeah, he had no idea the whole of the DMC body had pretty much called dibs already. But it was wierd to try to make the mental connection that the girl sitting in front of him was in fact Leto - much like without the hair, the cracks, and the oriental clothes, he probably looked nothing like Alunite.
Ah, glamour. Funny thing.
