It seemed as though her feet were going to carry her to all of the members of the movie club. First was Nahm, and now here she was racing off to Mortimer's room. Even though a lot of her friend were undead, the undead dorms still unnerved her a tad, just because of the temperature. She would make due though. She always did.
Mortimer was the quiet type right? Danny recalled he didn't want to share a blanket with her, Bea and Rikki. Why was that? Maybe he didn't like blankets.
... but who didn't like blankets!?
Either way, Danny raced down the hall towards his dorm, package in hands. Eventually she had to ask directions from a cleaning gnome, and she got lost twice. These dorms were like a crypt. Absolutely confusing, and way too cold. That was the point though, wasn't it?
Eventually she did find her way to his dorm, and knocked cantankerously on the door. Hopefully he was in!

For once, Mortimer was actually trying to move his stuff into his room. While boxes still littered the ground, the dorm room was beginning to have a semblance of order - nerdy order. Posters of different manga, comic, or skellyvision series characters were beginning to take over the walls The floor was marble and quite cold to the touch, just as he liked it.
Now all would be well if Brian wasn't being, well, Brian.
"Briaaaaaaaan!" the zombie chastised his dragie, nudging him away as, once again, he had cornered Mimi; the pigimp was trembling even as Mort picked her up and gave Brian a look. The knock on the door broke their eye contact, as Brian snarled at the unseen intruder.
"Shhhh," he told his minipet with a frown, making sure the dragie was back before he answered the knocking. Of all people to visit his dorm room, however, he was not expecting . . . her.
o3o "H-Hi?" Mimi, in one hand, blinked at the fire demon.

"So you can talk? oh um, Hi! Hi!!" Danny said, extremely excited. Perhaps she had just missed it during the meeting, but Danny couldn't really remember Mortimer ever actually ... well talking to her.
Of course, she could care less. As far as Danny was concerned, they were best friends forever.
Danny tried to get a look in his room, but couldn't see much. She patted the little pigimp on the head (rather rougly, Danny wasn't exactly known for daintiness), and then pulled out the square, pink-ribboned box from underneath her arm.
"Here! For You!" she said with a goofy smile on her face. He would accept her token of friendship, right? RIGHT?

U-Um . . . wha . . . ? Mortimer blinked at the offered gift before taking it with his free hand. Mimi, in the meanwhile, squealed softly - whether from how rough Danny handled her or from delight was hard to tell. "Um. Thanku. But why give gift?" he asked her, pleasantly confused. From behind came a grumbling as Brian tried to see around his master's legs at this unwanted intruder.
He could hear a small fire crackling. Fire was never good.

"Because we're friends of course!" Danny shouted jovially. Even though they'd only spent a sleepover together, Danny already considered the twosome the best of friends. Even if he didn't come under her blanket, it was okay because they were friends.
But wait. "We are friends right?" Danny wanted to make sure they were both on the same page. She would be shocked and disheartened if Mort answered no, and probably stomp back to her room unhappily.
Nevermind that though. Danny looked around Mort's shoulder into his room. It was ... well it was his room. "Can I come in?" The question was pointless as she was already barging in through the door.

They . . . They were friends? o3o;?? Here was something awkward. She had a fire tail. but she was nice. But he'd not gone under the blankets with her. But she was nice. But she had fire. But she gave him a gift.
Gift. Well that settled it. Mortimer smiled and nodded. "Y-Yeah, friends!" Because regardless of whether or not you were somewhat afraid of someone and their first impressions of you, a gift was always something good. Even if you didn't have names yet.
. . . Oh right. He set the box down on the cabinet near the door, then extended the same hand to her in friendship. "Mortimer. D-Didn't get name last time."
As for coming into his room, though . . . "Eeeer. Room n-not done yet," the zombie explained as Brian began growling again. "Slow to unpack. Kinda l-lazy. Brian in control, friends inviting out . . . k-kinda forget."

Danny looked at him sympathetically. "You didn't get a name last time? I'm so sorry!" she said, frowning. She slapped his hand a high five and said, "Next time I'll buy you a really, really nice name! With letters and everything!" Danny was grossly misinterpreting Mortimer's speech, just like on groanspring.
The ghoul peered into the undead boil's room anyways, even if she wasn't supposed to. She couldn't see anything. Drat, foiled again!
"Maybe I can help you unpack and stuff?" she asked, totally innocent. He would let her do this right?
