Mitsu hadn't really left Shun's room since she had been back. Only a couple of times did she venture out and it was simply to get bandages and food. Most of the time she had been sleeping, trying to regain the energy she had lost while on the field trip and allowing time for her wounds to heal. She hadn't really seen a lot of people aside from those who had stopped by the room. Hel and Riyo were still on the list of people she hadn't seen to know the condition of. Mot's eyes had still looked irritated and sore and poor Xiu had her arm completely bandaged. Mitsu remembered Riyo had a head injury, hopefully the feline was recovering well enough like everyone else.
Making her way across the school yard, Mitsu headed toward the demon dorms. Thankfully the lycan had stored away enough information that she semi knew where she was going. Or at least she hoped. After a bit of wandering aimlessly though it seemed she was on the right track when she would the familiar room number on the door.
Slowly Mitsu approached bringing her hand up hesitantly. How would Riyo be doing? The trip had been rather rough on them not to mention their team had kept fighting. Would she even want to see her? Swallowing back that bit of fear Mitsu gently knocked on the door and waited, ears tilted forward listening for any movement inside the room beyond.

The knock was met with a temporary silence, only undertones of a record player rose up from behind the well-polished portal. Then, a pitter-patter of feet moving towards the door became louder and louder, until locks were undone and a red eye peeked out from the now open crack... A bloodshot red eye.
"Ah. Mitsu." It took the feline a moment to recognize the ghoul in front of the door. Slowly, the door opened fully, revealing the still rather disheveled cat ghoul. She was trying to get her act together, though the lack of sleep still seemed to be conquering the feline.
At the very least, she was dressed and ready to go somewhere. "I imagine you're here to catch up with me." Damn were those some big bags under her eyes. "How about accompanying me to a coffee shop, hm? I'll get you something." This way, if Riyo fell asleep, she would have somebody to wake her up. What wonderful timing.

Mitsu started to wonder if there was anyone home at all. She heard music but no movement. Then finally the first signs of life caught her ears and her attention perked as Riyo began to unlock the strong hold that was her door. A warm greeting was on her lips but the feline's state caught the lycan off guard and a stuttered 'hi' managed to escape her lips. Jack....Riyo looked....how to put it politely.....well she looked terrible. There was no other way to describe it.
"Y..yes I wanted to make sure you were doing alright. H..have you been sleeping?" Her eyes rivaled Mot's which answered Mitsu's question well enough of its own. "I..if you want. Should you be resting?" Riyo already looked like she was ready to go out but Mitsu imagined the ghoul really needed to lay down and sleep. Mitsu, herself, looked well enough. Being with Shun had helped ease her mind and allowed her to sleep peacefully. Her injuries were still sore and irritated but they were well out of view considering they covered her torso.

"No." Riyo said honestly. "I haven't been sleeping. I've been waking up and screaming, but I have not been sleeping." She seemed rather numb to it, after the first couple times of retelling the tale.
Grabbing her hat off the coat rack, the ghoul took a step outside of her room and closed the door behind her with a soft click. "And no. I shouldn't be. Resting has done nothing but make me miserable. So lets get some coffee. Maybe then I can at least have a spurt of energy for awhile."
The ghoul's hands immediately retreated to her pockets as she started walking towards the exit of the dorms, her eyes glancing over Mitsu as if trying to assess the damage. "You look well." Much better in comparison to Riyo. That was for sure.

The frown was apparent on Mitsu's face as Riyo, in a way, explained her condition. So she had been right, the ghoul wasn't sleeping. That certainly explained the bags under her eyes and the worn look on her face. Admittedly Mitsu had nightmares the first couple of nights as well but when she had finally been made to lay on the bed and curled up to Shun the nightmares had kind of faded. Even the old nightmares that she used to have hadn't plagued her at night.
"O..okay then," Mitsu nodded slightly, stepping back so that Riyo could exit her dorm. Maybe they could find something while they were out so that the poor ghoul could relax and get some sleep later. Hadn't Xiu mentioned tea before? Mitsu seemed to remember Riyo serving her tea before so maybe that would be an option.
Slowly Mitsu fell into step beside the feline, walking fairly normally though her steps were a little sluggish here and there as she dragged her feet. "Umm, yeah I'm doing okay. I hadn't really left the dorm until now." Tilting her head a bit Mitsu looked up at Riyo to see if she could spot any injuries. "How are you doing aside from not being able to rest?"

The question Mitsu asked next made the ghoul shake her head. "Well... That's sort of the whole thing, Mitsu. I need sleep if I'm going to function through the rest of the day. There are so many things I do that require focus, and right now I possess the ability to do none of them." It was sad, really. The whole thing left her a little... Depressed. Though she wouldn't actually voice that.
Riyo held the door open for Mitsu as they walked out of the dorms and continued towards the nearest coffee shop. It didn't even have to be in town. All she wanted was a big, hot cup of black coffee. She didn't appear to have any real injuries anymore. The gaping head wound had managed to heal rather nicely, and all that remained was a little bump.
"So... Have you had any nightmares since that whole... Fiasco?"

Yes, sleep was good for a lot of things though not necessarily required. There were a lot of students that didn't sleep at all though for Mitsu it was habit and breaking a habit like sleeping left her tired and groggy. She could only imagine Riyo was the same way but to a more extreme degree at the moment.
"Oh...for your business?" That's right Riyo had paperwork and things along those lines. Responsibilities that Mitsu wasn't accustomed to, nor truly understood.
"Umm..." Mitsu hesitated a moment before she continued. Nightmares had obviously not plagued her the same way. "I did the first two nights but I was still so exhausted I slept anyway." It hadn't been a restful sleep, especially since it had been on the floor. "They've eased off a bit since then." Mostly because Shun was there and knowing he was there was comforting.

"Yes, business." The ghoul sighed a bit sadly. So much paperwork. So much backlog. Aaaaaugh.
"Sitting down to paperwork takes focus, especially if you're calculating numbers too." She pointed out, keeping her tired eyes open for a blasted shop. Hell, right now she'd settle for just the coffee beans. Maybe she could grind them up and snort them or something.
So the other ghoul did have nightmares too. "Do you remember what they were about? Maybe mine are something similar." If Mitsu did remember, maybe her recollection would help Riyo recall what it was that plagued her.

"Umm," Mitsu was hesitant at the question not sure how to answer. She semi-remembered the dream but not much of it. That and she had never really spoken to anyone about her dreams before, let alone a nightmare. If it would help though Mitsu felt she could give it a shot.
"I..I don't remember much. What I do remember is the canyon and its almost like it was. Everyone is fighting, the hunters are attacking us and our classmates are disappearing all around me." She paused a moment finding it hard to go on, it was obvious the nightmares still bothered her a little even if they hadn't plagued her sleep in recent nights. "I remember everyone from our team...dying. I wasn't able to help. I couldn't protect anyone." Mitsu seemed to shutter a little wrapping her arms around herself for the moment. "I..I don't remember much after that only that...I felt alone."

Riyo's brow furrowed as she listened to the nightmare Mitsu had to endure. For her it might not have seemed AS terrifying, but for a ghoul who seemed to fear being alone...
"Well." The feline started when her canine companion had finished. "I hope it's not still worrying you. It was a dream, after all... And everyone is still here in once piece." Though she could sympathize with the thoughts. They had, after all, been through hell as far as that went.
Unfortunately, the recollection of Mitsu's nightmare hadn't helped Riyo in the slightest. "I still can't remember anything... But it was worth a shot I suppose." Spotting a small building called 'The Coffin Coffee Shop', the feline pointed in that direction, holding open the door for the smaller ghoul to walk in. "Get what you want."

Mitsu frowned slightly focusing on their path ahead of them. Retelling her dream really hadn't helped it seemed. "Did it involve what happened? In the canyon or before that? Maybe something from the rooms?" Hopefully her questions would spark something since it seemed not remembering her dream was what was haunting the feline.
Looking up as Riyo seemed to spot a place to stop, Mitsu eyed the sign for a moment before following the ghoul to the door and stepping inside. "O..okay." Mitsu nodded. She knew she would not be getting coffee. Hopefully they had tea. Mitsu had seen Mot and Levi both become victims of the coffee and its crazy effects, she didn't want to be victim as well. "Do they have berry tea?" Mitsu asked looking at the menu. She had enjoyed the tea Lattice had given her.

"Oh, I'm sure they do." Tea usually went hand in hand with coffee, after all.
The whole place was pretty tasteful, in a morbid sort of way. Coffin shaped tables, coffin shaped chairs, coffin shaped menu behind the counter. How lovely. Oh, and it wouldn't be complete without your token vampire behind the register.
Ugh... Vampires...
It was something the feline generally kept to herself, but the ghoul had never really been fond of the fairer undead race. Perhaps it was because they were usually just as snooty as demons, or perhaps it was because vampire boils had a tendency to be merciless flirts... Maybe both. It was a bit racist of her to think of all them as such, but hey. Everyone had their ticks, right?
"I'm not sure..." Riyo returned to the talk about dreams when she entered the shop. "It seems... Like something important... But none of those things ring a bell." Scratching her head, the demoness sighed and shrugged. "Maybe I'm thinking about it too hard. I don't know."
Approaching the counter, Riyo held back a scowl as she asked for a large black coffee. "You mean Grande." The vampire responded cheekily with a wink.
"I mean give me a big ******** cup of coffee. That's what large means."

Tea would definitely be what Mitsu was getting and that's what she asked for at the counter. The vampire didn't bother her, though she honestly hadn't met one outside of seeing Tess and she was rather sweet from what Mitsu could tell. Back to dreams though the lycan tilted her head. It seemed like this was going to be tricky if Riyo couldn't seem to recall anything at all.
"Maybe it's a memory or something that got stirred up from the trip?" Mitsu had that problem as well. Some of her passed nightmares were intermingled with her new nightmares to the point they were hard to tell apart. But if it felt important to the demoness what could it be?
She paused though as the feline addressed the vampire with her order, her ears falling back at the cursing. Riyo was a tad cranky it seemed, though a lack of rest would probably do that.

The vampire paused and raised his eyebrow at the outburst, running fingers through his short blonde hair before continuing. "Alright then. One GRANDE black coffee for the kitty cat, and tea for the sweet pea." Was he deliberately trying to annoy Riyo? Oh yes. And it looked like it was working very well. "You should tell your friend she should cut down on the coffee. Those bags under her eyes could carry cement." He whispered to Mitsu as he passed to pour the ghoul's drinks, an honest-looking smile on his face. He probably got grouchy customers a lot.
"I HEARD THAT." The feline shouted, her ears twitching with annoyance. Vampires. friggin' vampires. Grimacing, the ghoul reached into her pocket and placed the money on the counter with a harsh smack. The tip jar had earned a sneer, but nothing more.
Mitsu's thought to a memory distracted the ghoul from continuing to stare at the undead over the counter. "Hm.. That's... Possible." After all, Riyo had many bad memories. Most of which she tried to forget. "In which case, I'm not sure which is worse... Remembering the dream or staying ignorant and suffering." Which was rare for Riyo. Being the curious creature she was, learning about something was practically what she lived for.
"Mitsu... Have you ever had memories you don't want to think about for the sake of your sanity?"

Mitsu looked at the vampire, a shy sort of smile crossing her face. She didn't mind the nicknames, at least not that kind. It was better than being called mutt. His comment though made her smile fade, a weary look shooting to Riyo. "I...It might be best...just to give her the coffee." Mitsu had seen Riyo on the way to being made before, she had also seen the breaking point and her FEAR start to take over.
Trying not to worry about that too much at the moment Mitsu took her drink, eyes falling on the tip jar. Subtly she tried to reach into her pocket and place a couple of seeds inside it but Riyo's question directed to her made her jump almost tossing them in the jar instead of setting them in lightly. Subtle.
"Umm..." The frown Mitsu had grew solemn and sad. There were plenty of memories that she tried to forget....and some that she was certain she had succeeded from eliminating from her mind. There were blank spots, places were she only had glimpses and mostly she was haunted by those in her sleep. "Y...yes. There are things....I honestly think I have pushed so far back into my mind I've almost forgotten them. But they are always there when I dream but they are nothing more than glimpses....fragments." Mitsu, however, was not curious about what they were. She simply hoped it was her mind getting carried away...despite how real it seemed.
