"b***h I'm fabalous" Earl Gray (風 WIND) with a hint of ginger (辣 SPICY (rash / hasty)) Like his species's namesake, he is an arrogant animal, believing that he can get anywhere he wants by simply trying hard enough. When he looks at others, he fails to see why it is that humans have such a hard time moving up in skill or status. Can't they simply press that trigger and keep pushing forward? Limits are nonexistent to him and this shows through his inability to empathize with people of a lower level. When asked about tasks he isn't proficient at, he brushes others off by speaking about he is "in the process" of becoming better and will often go to extreme lengths to become objectively "better".
Haruto is also an impulsive creature with a stubborn streak. He isn't the type to plan something in advance, but rather makes a snap decision at the last possible moment. Of course, not everyone is as quick to decide as he is so he takes it upon himself (like the devoted rooster he is) to give them a helpful push (or shove) toward their perceived goal. It feels good to know that he is making someone closer to their dream, even if it wasn't what they originally attended.
For those he shares camaraderie with, he will pour the same devotion toward protecting them from any perceived dangers such as a threatening animal...or an unknown human. He is the first to rush in front of a fight and intervene, even if he doesn't have the necessary physiognomy to stop the situation. He feels that because he is stronger than they are, he has to be strong for them as well.
That said, he does not protect people from his words, harsh or otherwise. He speaks bluntly in regards to others and can even be vocal about his feelings. It is not necessarily that he feels his opinions are better than someone else's (though they are), but that he genuinely wants to help them even if it costs him time or physical pain. As his owner, Junko holds a particular place in his heart. He seems to be hang around her much more than other pets would and clings to her.

Appearance: I'm undecided whether I want him to have long, black hair in some sort of ponytail or a mo/fauxhawk similar to the rooster's crown. Other than that though, I leave it up to the artist!
Basic Information: The Golden Phoenix chicken is one of the many breeds that results from selective breeding of the onagadori. The males of this breed are fairly high maintenance, needing special care in order to keep their tails long and shiny.
