Biography:
Rylia is the youngest child born to Uriel and Samar Einar and the younger sister of Azra'iel Einar, who reside comfortably in a small home outside the port city of Moonfall. While lucky enough to have the necessities she needed to live, the people she needed to grow, her parents, were constantly absent from her and her brothers lives on business. Being the youngest, Rylia found herself admiring her older brother. The day she could finally stay on her feet, she began to follow her brother anytime she could, curious about what he was doing, where he was going and even studying. Not to mention that she tried to mess with any and everything that caught her interest that he touched, often trying to imitate her older brother for the first part of her years. When she was old enough however, a tutor was hired for her studies and she was no longer able to follow and admire her brother as she did before.
The tutor was nice enough, but Rylia found herself unfascinated by the woman. She was not like her brother, preferring to learn things through experience rather then just fancy words. She preferred touching things to learn about them if she could and thus found things she could not touch quite boring. Truth and knowledge, while for her brother, was not for her. As she grew older, she slowly became more and more distant from her brother because of a combination of those things, and the discovery of her own magic. The discovery actually first happened while she was still really young and at a rather impressionable age. While on a small break from her studies, she took the time to practice her archery, something she found she was far better at then handling a stick as though it was a sword. Frustrated because she was missing the targets, she 'fired' an arrow out of frustration at her target without actually picking up a new arrow to fire. The arrow was dark, like the night sky, and from it dark energy radiated off. When she looked down and saw this same energy radiating off her hands, she stared down in shock….and fear of her own 'power', so to speak.
The combination of the fear she had of her newly acquired 'power', her parents absence and the possible reaction from those wanted to be close to would have because of it, caused the girl to shut down internally. Her dark power, could only be seen as evil and destructive, that was the way the world worked or how she believed it did. Thoughts like possible abandonment and disgrace crossed into her mind, nearly breaking her. But. She was determined these things would not come to light and thus, became withdrawn, and almost nonvocal. She began to gesture for anything she needed and spoke only in light whispers to keep that 'power' at bay. While trying to hide this power however, she caused both her parents and tutor frustration from her lack of communication. Her brother even became affected by it, speaking up for her and even giving her the attention she had hoped to get from her parents, but lost because of her behavioral change. He made her smile, and even laugh because of him and she soon found herself regaining that initial fascination of her brother she once had.
