Wandering could be very hard on a Lioness, and when she was getting on in her years, this usually ment severe need for regular hunts and watering. Shaking her crimson fur out, the female licked a dark paw, black eyes glancing at the watering hole she'd JUST found, and the beautiful piece of fresh kill that was before her, a nicely-sized buck of an antelope that suited her stomach very well. Sharp teeth dug in for another bite, Kuori ja Sielu savored the taste of bloody meat, enjoying each moresel she could get in this very dry time of her life. That proud head lowered to the clear water to drink, her crimson body tolerating the sun that beat upon her rather well, as it was all the currently rogue lioness had ever known.
Crim wandered into the area around the watering hole scenting the lioness and the meat there as well not that he particularly needed it at the moment haveing fed recently. Looking at the female in the water he crept closer his tail swaying behind him as he got closer to the water.
The only problem that the Cheetah faced was that this was a lioness with experience in the arts of hunting, as well as the art of scent and winds. As of right now, the foolish creature was downwind of her, and in a heartbeat, her head snapped up, she snarled, and her body crouched protectively over the carcass, hissing, "Who's there!" Her maw curled backwards, revealing those teeth tempered sharp, claws digging into the earth, sliding from their sheathes as she watched the grasses with those dark eyes. Suspicion was in her nature, and she was not one to believe that another was here simply for pleasure when the scent of them was all she had.
He stood staying where he was not moving forward. "I have no intent to steel your meal." He moved back slightly watching her warrily not wanting her to feel threatened afterall he was only going to the watering hole for a drink he hadn't planned on meeting such a beautiful lioness out there.
The femme's ears were flat, thoes hackles up, even when he told her that her meal was not his intended goal. How did she know this? For all the lioness knew, he lied to her. Her tail swished, showing her irritation, as she stood guard over her food, though her knees betrayed a slight shake, her years marked only by small scars.
He let out a sigh sitting where he was, he could wait show here he was no threat. after all that is what he was good at doing.. then maybe... he could get this female to open up some.
Her tail flicked back and forth, as she stopped slowly, before pacing forwards before her kill. Her claws retracted as her ears raised, those hackles pulling back to flatten that beautiful fur as she studied the cheetah she could now see. Fine. So he wasn't after her meal. But still....How odd.
He stood then looking away from her but keeping an ear out for sounds of her coming closer to him as he started to head torward the watering hole a drink sounded nice and maybe a swim. With how little others there were in the area today.
She watched him as he moved towards the watering hole. She moved close to water's edge, near where the odd Cheetah had headded for, ".....You......what brings you here?" She had to ask. It was unusual for one like him to be in this area at this time. That was why SHE was here. Licking her paw, her head tipped. How strange.

Crim lay down at the edge of the watering hole not really planning on going anywhere just yet. "I was planning on taking a swim at a time when no one else was around but obviously that plan as failed. Though if you would like to join me swimming I wouldn't be opposed." Slipping into the water he let out a sigh at the cool feeling against his skin finding it very refreshing. Looking back over at the other he smirked swimming closer to her. "Now what was your name Miss, I am afraid I never got it? I'm Sangue'Crimezi and I really would like it if you swam with me I'm sure on a day as hot as this one you would enjoy a bit of coolness running over your fur"He waited for her response not moving out of the water.

Kuori's pretty eyes gazed at him, her tail flicking back and forth as she watched the Cheetah. Was he being fresh? What was this reaction? It made no sense to the Lioness. Her paws pressed into the mud at the shore line, and she let the water lap at her fur. When he invited her to join him in the water, the Lioness seemed to think about it, "Kuori ja Sielu." She responded, calmly, wondering if she wanted to slide into the water for real. Leaning her head down, she lapped at the water, before gazing at him once more, "I suppose a swim might feel good, but I'm not sure if it would be quite the wise idea, as you seem rather intent on me being in there, and I do not know what to think of this."

He sighed looking at the other. Really what did he have to do to get her to get in the water with. All he needed was to get her to trust him then he would be able to get close to her heart he wouldn't have to worry about this wooing nonsense anymore.He swam farther. "I promise I wont get near you just join me you look like you could use a little cooling off. After all it is a bit hotter out here than it normally is." He finally said before going over to the other side of the watering hole enjoying the cool feeling of the water flowing through his fur.

When Crim swam back, Kuori accepted this as a good enough reason, and slowly slid her lithe form into the water, letting the cool liquid slide over her crimson fur, eyes closing in delight as it cooled her off. It really was nice in here, and she had to admit, the Cheetah beside her? Strangely charming in his own way, though she wasn't much one for messing around with other species. Letting her mass swim through the water, she found her mind drifting, enjoying simply the sensation of coolness, and relaxation.

Watching the Females he swam forward once she had relaxed. "I see you decided to join me? It feels nice doesn't it? Nice and cool against your skin and fur?" He waited for an answer beside her knowing that there was no way he would be able to know if she was going to be angry at him for moving closer to her of not. Maybe if he played his cards right he would be able to have a bit of fun with her. After all she was such a beautiful thing.
