Hathor's light blue eyes looked around the sand and temples around her. She was lost she didn't know where to look all she could think about was that female...that female putter her grimy paws on her beloved. She grew furious the tears started to gather in the corners of her eyes again. She began to search again she had to find him before the other.
She had to make him pay for what he did. Letting her come back to find the female in his den with his scent all over her. She let out a growl and everyone knew that this female was not to be messed with.
The small lioness pressed forward she was now searching the inner pride over again she kept catching sight of the other female and it made her blood boil she knew if she didn't find him soon she would probably attack the nearest thing until he came to rescue her.

Zoruta padded about the desert where he had made his own den. It was nice to move out of his parents cave finally. His father couldn't wait for that either. He could always tell he wasn't TOO fond of cubs- but he did it for mama. Maybe one day he too could find a lady that he loved as much as his dad loved his mama. He would be a good father and be there in all the places that his dad wasn't.
He then looked forward, his orange eyes glinting in the sun trying to catch a shimmer of the white mirage that he was in the distance. 'Oh a lioness he hadn't met!' He padded forward cheerily. How did he not notice her all those days they crowded in the temple to get away from the heat.
"Well hello there. I've never seen you about."

The female attention snapped as she heard another voice. She stared at him with a mixture of anger and annoyance. She was on a mission and here was this male having the nerve to just walk up to her and start chatting. She wanted to turn away from him but she was a bit desperate. She even had another female helping her search for her Beloved. Looking at this male started to make the gears in her little head start to turn. What if she made this new male her Beloved? What would Sa think about that? Would he be jealous? Would he even notice? Her lips pulled back into a small smirk as she moved closer to him.
"We have always been here. We will always be here." She said as she moved past the male slowly her body was a bit to close to him but she didn't care this was her way. She stopped looked around curiously before suppressing a growl. He was not here there was no sign of him. Finally she turned to look at the male.
"Do you know where Beloved is? We are looking for him and we would very much like to know where he is. We will praise you with great rewards if you find him for us." She said moving back to him watching his face making sure to look for an signs of him lying to her.

"We?" He craned his neck about and looked for others. When he didn't see them he just assumed they were back at the temple. "Well it's nice to see somebody that's been here longer then my family." His eyes still searched around for the second lion. Maybe she meant her family. He knew if Feleji lost anyone they would be rewarded and praised...though he wouldn't talk to 'weird'. Ah well she seamed nice anyway.
"I'm so sorry about your loss. But I can help you find him- and grandad knows EVERYONE. So if we can't find them...I can always ask pop for help...If that's ok with you?"
He grinned shyly and innocently at her not knowing what in the world was going on at all.

The females ears perked up as she heard about the male that new everyone. That was interesting. She thought a moment before she stretched out before walking past him towards the temples assuming that is where this male was. As she walked her tail flicked against the other cheek it was one of her many tricks she would pull out to get what she wanted.
"Take us to him?" She said as she kept walking though slowly giving him every opportunity to get ahead of her and lead her to the other. She began to think of her own grandfather this brought a pride and rage in her. Pride for being the granddaughter of a god and rage for what he had done her mother. He may as well had cursed her with all the hardships she had. This caused the lioness to stop in her tracks. Her eyes widened as she starred down at the sand.
"We are lonely." She whispered to herself before she looked to the sky. ~We will not rest till we find beloved and make him pay!~ She yelled out in her head as she glared at the skies. ~We will make him pay make him come back to us we will not longer be lonely then!~

As she brushed her tail tip against his face he couldn't quite tell if it was an accident or on purpose- wait didn't she have a beloved? Maybe that was a term for somebody in her family? Shani always referred to her father as a beloved member of the family...OH he was so clever figuring it out. She wanted HIM as a mate- and wanted HIM to find her father. He beamed. Oh wouldn't his mother be so proud that he got himself a girl.
He trotted in front of her to lead her to the temple. "Don't worry miss. I will keep you from being lonely. And you picked the biggest family in the pride to be a part of!" He could show grand-dad when he got to the temple, and nobody thought he was clever enough to get himself a girl- and what a pretty one she was too. "You'll like grand-dad. He's great!"

The female had no idea the mess she had walked into. She watched as he moved in front of her. She blinked softly no one had so readily wanted to be with her except for Sa. She had to always convince the others twist their arms bribe them but this one was different. All it took was a few words and a simple touch form her tail and he was hooked. She watched him curiously before smiling a little. Maybe he could win her over? He was quite interesting not like Sa in the least. He also had a very cute way about him but she would never admit it no that would be admitting to much.
She followed him into the temple she looked around and felt her chest get real heavy this temple looked like the one she and Sa used to play in when they where cubs.
"We believe you for now..." she said as she put her attention onto him hoping it would keep her distracted from doing something 'stupid' Sa would call it.

"I'm glad you do." He chirped and looked about the temple. Grand-dad would be with the cubs. He was a nanny after all. "Pop be with the cubs. I hope you don't mind them- cubs that is. He's a nanny, he likes cubs..." Zarua rambled on absently until he came to a sheltered cool place in the temple. It was gated off and the inside was covered in crude cub-like paw prints. "Yep. This is is. Watch your step though; some of the cubs in here don't understand the concept of 'litterbox' yet." He gulped and went threw the gate the cubs eyeing the pair as giant playtoys.
"Grand-dad...I brought a friend. She's looking for family!" He called out absently.
Feleji could hear the call of one of his many grandchildren; and like Santa with his over hanging old man gut and his puffy mane charged at the boy and knocked him clear to the ground. He then put his paws offside either side of his head and gave him a big lick to the side of the face.
"MY BOY!" He let him get up before giving him a hard pound on the back that toppled Zarua to the ground and onto his face. Not before being picked up once more by a strong paw and poked in the gut.
"You need to eat more! Go move back in with your mother...at least you looked healthy and plump with her." He smacked his gut with his other paw. "Val keeps me well fed. Maybe you should visit me and grandma for awhile. Get some fat on those bones!"
He then let out a long loud laugh that shook the inside of the temple before once more grabbing the smaller orange lion in a hug that looked like it broke a few bones from how tight he was gripping. He then noticed the female that had come with his grandson- at which point he let go of Zarua who again dropped to the ground smashing his nose on the pavement.
"And WHO is this desert flower?" He grabbed her and embraced her as well. "How come you never told me about this pretty young lady?" He joked and hugged even tighter before letting go to inspect her. "I say- she will give me some fine grandbabies won't she." He went and smacked Zarua on his back once more while he was already still on the ground.
"Congratulations and WELCOME to our family young lady." He again continued to pat the orange lion on the back with a heavy paw.

Hathor watched in sheer horror as the young male was what looked like to her was utter torture. She kept watching the two before the attention was turned on her. She let out a cry for help but she was sure no one care since this seemed to be how the male said hello.
She stood there after the torture her body shaking her fur on end. She was panting heavily and didn't look much like herself at all. She turned her fiery eyes onto the large male but she couldn't pull herself to yell at him to snap at him. She say the age in his face her ears rested slightly back against her head she quickly turned away from them moving to sulk in the corner. Her tail wrapped around herself tightly as she looked at the paintings on the walls the cubs had done.
Those paintings reminded her of Sa and how he used to love to do them and apparently still to this day loved to do them having become a scribe for the pride. She felt suddenly worthless all she was was a lowly huntress.
"We...will be going now." she said suddenly before she jumped over the small gate and fled as quickly as her paws could take her into the dunes.

Feleji looked confused about her recent flight. But he took it all in good stride. "SEEMS the lady want some alone time with you." He helped prop his grandson up and gave him a friendly slam on the butt towards the gate. "Remember I want LOTS of grandbabies. Make me proud kiddo!" He then padded back towards the cubs that were more then happy to start cover him in colorful finger paints.
Zarua couldn't get out of there soon enough. He loved his grand-dad but sometimes too much love was a BAD thing in this case. He escaped on the heals of the white female quick as he could. Then tried to pop his spine and shoulder back into place. "I am so sorry about grand-dad. He's abit much. Please don't be mad at me. I-I-I didn't know he's ambush us like that." He stammered and looked into her frazzled eyes feeling really bad about the entire situation. "I can still help you find who-ever your looking for though...if you-you know don't hate me and all." He took a long hard gulp and slumped down to the ground. He looked like an absolute mess after the 'love' attack from Feleji. On top of that he think he might have stepped in something 'Woe is me'. He sulked to himself.

Hathor had gotten over a dune and then stopped. She didn't even noticed the male come up behind her till he started talking to her making her attention snap to him. She watched him for several moments before she started to laugh she didn't know why but she couldn't stop laughing she thought she had finally done it go off the deep end everyone told her she would go off it eventually if she wasn't already there.
"We -laugh- do not hate you." She said laughing still she started to have tears fall down her eyes from the laughter she sat down and hunched over her stomach began to hurt from all the laughter. She finally began to calm down.
"We are starting to wounder if it is worth it finding beloved. He no longer wants us. He discarded us like we where nothing." She said as she looked to him before gasping at how close he was to her. She leaned back a little but he only followed leaning closer to lick her tears away.
Her cheeks flushed scarlet as she looked at him what was he doing to her? What was this filling in the pit of her stomach? Why did she even like him touching her? As far as she knew she only liked Sa and her mother touching her but this male...she was perfectly fine with it.
"Well if you wish to help us we better get started." she said quickly as she cleared her throat and began to move away from the male her cheek still a bit flushed as she willed them to stop.
"We are hungry food first look later." she said finally giving up if the other female found him first so be it it would only make him more guilty no doubt catching him in the act.
