                      Midnight walked into gym class shyly, scratching her cuts absentmindedly as she went. She kept her eyes on the floor, hoping not to be noticed. She hated being around new people, the voices always told her bad things about them.

Blake sighed and walked up to the gym field he took the end of his hood and followed it to the end and noticed the blade on the end of it wasnt in the protection. he put it back in the leather blade holder on his back. he did a few streches then did a front flip. ~atleast i can still do flips eventho my knee hurts~ he tought. he took off his shortana of his leg and took his revolver of his belt and put them in his backpack

                      She was walking with her head down, but still managed to trip over her own feet with a yelp, falling with an "Oof" on top of someone else. "I-I-I'm so s-s-sorry...!" she stuttered stumbling a little as she got up. She scratched absentmindedly at her cuts.

Blake held her in his arms and looked at her ''be careful'' he said helping her up. he looked at the girls arms. ''its not good to cut the scars damage the skin tissue wich causes it to get damaged easier'' he tought to himself if it was samrt to use medical terms but he didnt really care.

                     She frowned an looked at her cuts and said bluntly, "If I dont do it, they'll kill me." She turned on her heel and started to walk away, trembling a little and her cheeks a bright red.

''Halt'' Blake said in the same calm and dull voice he always spoke ''lets me guess, voices?'' he took a little jar out of his bag it was see thorugh orange and had a few pills in it. he threw the jar at her and then walked to the other side of the field

                      "I-I dont do drugs..." she muttered, but put the bottle in her pocket out of common courtesy. Shed toss it later.

He lifted his arm as if he was gonna wave ''its medicine'' he yelled. when he got to the other side he sat down on the grass one lef straight and the other bend. he took his revolver from his bag and check his ammo. then he put it back. he wonderd what other creatures would wander around the school while looking at the girl. ~not bad.. at all~he tought to himself

                      He wasnt there. Not to her. All she could hear were the voices, screaming in her ears. All she could see were the voices racing through her mind, trying to decide which part to devour first. She let out a low groan, then a whimper.

He looked down at her and grabbed another jar out of his pocket it was half empty. he took out a pill and put it in her mouth. not knowing if this would be strong enough to make it stop for her he got on his crouched and held and arm behind her.

                      She tasted the rancid taste in her mouth and spit it out on the grass, her gag reflexes acting up. Her eyes were squuezed shut and she kept muttering, "Be stronger be stronger be stronger..."

''Dont ever do that again'' he said looking at the grass wich was turning black slowly as if a huge plane flew over. ''the chemicals in the medicine are dangerous for anything other than humans'' he lifted her up and brought her to the nearest overhang for some shadow
