As you may all know I've said in the past that the entire sub-forum would and could contain spoilers and that members should beware. Well I've decided to keep all things Skyrim spoilers related contained to one large thread.
So if you have questions, have tips for your fellow guild-mates, or just want to squee and tell everyone about a particular item you found please do so here.
Let the spoilers commence.

Eeeeee!
I finally got home yesterday around five, totally ignored my dog (sorry Bo-bo), and fired the game up. The beginning was a bit slow but I expected that. I am going to need to see if the game has a subtitle option because the voices are sort of low for me and I want to hear what the peoples are saying.
The voice acting so far is...not all that great. Though often I think I'm just used to playing Bioware games, which I think do voice acting particularly well, so I'll let that slide. I'm fairly sure I noted Fenris as one of the guards just before the cart rolled into the castle area thingy xD
Once the dragon hit and everyone was running for their lives, there were a couple mages apparently at the keep/castle. The way they attacked the dragon (with fireballs) reminded me strongly of Avatar. Unfortunately it was only the punching motions. Pity. But anyway, that was interesting.
I've gotten through the claw sidequest and one involving a spat between a love triangle. I went with the elf because Sven was a bit of an arse and since my character is a wood elf....elven solidarity is srs business guyz.
Had issues with the locking of the camera. It moved waaay to rapidly for me so I spent about ten minutes getting it to slow down. Also the camera seems to catch the character at the left side or something, which is sort of awkward but I play first person more then third anyway.
My favorite part so far has been the battle system. I use all of it except for two-hand, though you never know. Anyway, always sneak first with a bow. The bows I found actually deal more damage than the one-handed sword which sort of surprised me. Idk, but anyway, that usually kills things it hits when hidden automatically. Then it's blade and shock in the left hand for things that are slow moving. Those dreugh thingies when they just wake up can be hit with destruction from a distance so I pretty much learned to spam that (I like sparks more than flames, but YMMV) and then quickly draw up my favorites menu and pick up a shield when they finally get off their arses and amble towards me.
My favorite shield is one that increases my magic resistance, in case my enemies are carrying enchanted weapons. I have a stronger shield than that one but I prefer my magic shield. And as for armor I increased what I had up to leather at the forge in Riverwood or what not until I ran out of leather. I suppose I'll have to go hunt down some animals or do something with the pelts I've been finding all over the place. Dunno there yet. So I haven't refined my leathers yet but will do that eventually.
One thing that was ridiculously ridiculous (in a good way) - I put sparks in one hand and flames in the other xD
They don't combine but the red and blue sparks look pretty frying whatever is unfortunate enough to be caught in their way.
The scenery is really gorgeous too. I swear I watched the water ebb and flow against this tower that was sunken into a lake for a good five minutes. It looks real and I'll have you know I don't not throw that phrase around like some people do about basically every game ever. You can really tell that it's water, it's translucent and lighter colored at the right areas, dark and green tinted when you dive under it...the water in the caves even reflects what I assume to be gems in the ceiling, or something, not sure, but it's very detailed. I could ramble on about the damn water for some time alone xD
Overall the game made a good first impression. Looking forward to playing more of it tonight. I get to go report to a Jarl that a dragon is going to om nom nom his villagers if he doesn't do something reeeeeally soon next ~

gonk why did I read that? It wasn't all that spoilery but now I feel even worse.
-rushes to door to see if UPS truck is in driveway-
crying its not. For the last hour on the hour I've been walking past the door opening it up to see if the package was waiting on the porch. Sometimes I don't hear the UPS guy knock on the door, and I'll discover my package a little while later sitting there on the porch waiting to come inside. That happened with a book I ordered.

"Supi there are subtitles, in the menu under ugh... braifart. Display or something?
Anyway, as soon as I had control over what I wanted to do, I wandered about until I came across a house called... Pine-something? I suggest checking it out, a bunch of treasure at the end.
I decided from the start that I was going to be a conjurer, so when I eventually made my way over to Rivenwood I picked myself up the Raise Zombie spell book, and had some fun reviving people I killed as I went on the Dragon Claw quest. Oh yeah, I totally ressurected the huge spider after I killed it, just to see if I could. Awesome. You can't ressurect skeletons though, but any bodies you find lying around you can pretty much turn into a zombie(well, besides bosses and I suppose dragons, haven't had the chance to try it). I love it.
I then decided I was going to WALK to Winterhold, so I headed off and eventually ended up along the farms surrounding Whiterun. I went around stealing all the crops and selling them to this guy who would give me 2g each for cabbages and leeks before I got back of track.
My brother then kicked me off after I killed some wolves.
When I got back on I wandered over to some mammoths and they proptly saw me as a threat and tried to kill me as I ran away. A frostbite spider got the kill though. I reloded and went back to Whiterun to get some better armor. And ended up doing some of the main quest, killing my first dragon, blah, blah, blah. I tried to do a few quests but a lot of them sent me off to places I didn't want to go so I left and decided to take a horsecart to Winterhold. Oh yeah, I also picked up a Bound Sword spell and a Conjur Fire Atronach spell.
I then joined the Winterhold College, took a tour and did the first lesson. Then decided to run around and snatched every scrape off food I could get my scaley hands on, then headed off to the ruin the old guy wanted me to go to. Found some enchanted rings, pulled an amulet off the wall and promptly got myself trapped, but then freed myself by donning the amulet and casting a spell at the wall I pulled it from.(I'm smart, see?) I then fought through many draugr until we came across some huge magical ball thing, adn was then sent off to go tell the arch mage.
So I go all the way back to Winterhold, then I'm told I need to find some info on this stuff. Only to find that the books were stolen by a former apprentice, goddamnit, and he's hiding out in some tower halfway across the map. -sigh- and there's no horsecart for me to make my trip shorter. So I trek across moutains, swim through rivers.
As I get close to my destination I end up on top of a mountain, only to be blasted with some fire. Sweet, another dragon for me to kill. So I slaughter it, about to do a victory pose of some sort to find myself being blasted by MORE fire. Now, these blasts are doing some nasty damage, so I'm running around trying to figure out what the hell is trying to kill me, and then I spot this lich like creature called a Krois and I attempt to kill it and fail. He keeps turning my Fire Atronach against me and won't let me close enough to let me hit him with my sword so I'm forced to flee. I get away safetly, phew.
I eventually reach my destination, kill some necromancers and other assorted mages. I was slaughtering some mages they had held captive for some reason when my PS3 Froze.
That's pretty much my adventure so far."

Lesson learned from Oblivion...save often (better yet turn auto save on for everything) you never know when 360/PS3 will have a stroke and freeze up on ya.

I defeated my first dragon! I mostly let the soldier dudes go get themselves killed distracting it. Their whole motivational speech consisted of "we're going to die" so well, they weren't too optimistic about their chances. Not many died though, actually.
So now I'm supposed to climb that giant mountain but screw that. I'mma go adventure! I found a book somewhere called "The Legend of the Red Eagle" and picked it up to read later but got a quest off of it. It's going to take me way past Rorikstead and up into the mountains near there but book said sword, I said I want that!, rest was history.
Speaking of Roikstead, to the east, that little white capped hill near Redoran's Retreat and Fort Greymoor if you've found them I climbed to the top of it. But watch out for a circle pattern on the ground around there. There are friggen vampires camping out at it waiting to turn you into a vampire.
Oh, and at Greymoor I had the imperial soldiers and the stormcloak people fighting bandits and each other. There were just arrows whizzing every which way and it took a while to realize they weren't being aimed at me. I also took down a mammoth around there, give or take. It showed up being attacked by some wolves and so I took total advantage. Shot it down from afar with my bow. It got some good hits in but my housecarl was with me so it didn't take too long.
Oh yeah, and I became Thane of Whiterun, which apparently gives me this helper person, a nice axe I won't use, and the ability to get the "guards to look the other way" when I do bad shizz! Except apparently in Skyrim the people don't really mess around. I accidentally stole a book from Arcadia - in my defense it was NOT marked steal - and the guard came in, I got off the hook, went about my merry way. Arcadia actually paid a group of thugs to come "teach me a lesson" that possibly would involve my death! They caught up to me in Riverwood 'cause I'd been teleporting back and forth to get rid of my inventory every now and then since I've been picking up all sorts of random crap.
I'mma go back to Whiterun and see Arcadia. It would be amusing if she recognized that I killed her thugs but I don't expect her to do anything. Got into a fist fight with some lady (called the unbreakable or something?) and won 100 gold there by beating her. Ducked and weaved around poles since it was inside an inn. It's like the people purposefully crowd around the fight in the exact places to make it hard to duck and weave, but I managed. I gained another posse member - this list now includes my housecarl, fighter lady, and another I think is an assassin because she talks about painting with blood and other morbid things. You can only have one posse member at one time though so my housecarl basically accompanies me everywhere. It's nice to have an extra hand at times and she's basically a glorified human pack mule so inventory space! I'm not sure if she's a lady because my wood elf is, or if the housecarl is just female. It might be interesting to see with a male dragonborn but I don't feel like starting over. It might just be random though, like the shop inventories that seem to switch from save to save on me.
Finally, wasn't too long out of the gate before I managed to pick up gossip about the Black Brotherhood. I have a name and a long arse trip over to Windhelm I'm currently postponing in favor of the other side of Skyrim but it's like it was fated for me to rejoin the BB xD
I expect that might be one of the next things I do, depending on how many sidequests I feel like completing.

"I pretty much re-did everything I did before up to defeating my first dragon.
Oh, and Supi, my housrcarl is female.
I also bought the house in Whiterun because I needed a place to stash the dragon bones and scales I picked up and like hell I'm carting those around. I was kicked off just after I finished furnishing my house(I'm broke now) and I intend to go see/kill some Hagravens and get this Nettlebane thing so I can revive the Gildegreen tree thing when I get on next, because it sounds like fun."

I see. It was more a point of curiosity than anything else. Do the Nords sound a bit...I dunno, Irish/Scottish to anyone else? Or can I really not place accents?

As soon as I was free from the "starter" dungeon I immediately ignored the message to travel to Riverrun and went exploring. I ended up at my first ruined fort, the one with the locked library. Picked up a handy necklace, the amulet of Arkay. After further exploring I found my 1st word wall, and learned my first shout, but I can't use it has I don't have any dragon souls yet. Oh I got my a** handed to me by the wisp mother man she handed it to me good. I've managed to level up to level 4, very close to level 5 when I went to bed last night. This new perk system is going to take some time to get used to. Most of my time spent last night was just exploring the southern section of SKyrim and staring at all the pretty looking environments. Oh I did find the statue/shrine of Talos and discovered all the worshipers were dead. I did finally end up in Riverrun, talked to the blacksmith, helped the wood elf get the girl and accepted the bleak falls quest to get the golden claw back.

"So I went over to Orphan Rock and killed the Hagraven. That was... fun, she almost killed me. I then had to go back to Whiterun, only to be sent out to... the place where the tree is(right over in the east, it's kinda... dry? out there. I ended up stealing a horse to get there because ******** walking that far.). After acquring the sap, I was promtly ambushed by spriggans. I managed to best them the second time around thanks to my Fire Atronach. Back to Whiterun I go, though I made a detour at an abandoned prison which I discovered was being flooded and the guards were abandoning the prisoners to save themselves, while the prisoners hatched a plan to kill some guards and escape. I killed some ghost.
BTW, swimming in rivers is fun. Especially going over large waterfalls."
