The leather tether tasted funny in her mouth as she gnawed on it. Sitting out here wasn't exactly the highlight of her day but Dorian seemed to be checking on Daddy dearest and needed her outside for whatever stupid reason. Then again she had made a mess of the house and Dorian said something she didn't quite understand, but she knew he had been pretty upset with her. So here she was, sitting outside gnawing on the leather.
Humans passed her but she didn't mind them, instead she curled up and sat closer to the house. Peeking every so often when a human got close enough for her to smell them. She was still a bit skittish around other humans and mokai. There weren't many times she encountered others being in the nursery and cooped up in the house like a simple house pet. She wanted to go out and explore like any puppy would and get into some sort of trouble. She had fun with Imnir but that was a long while ago.
With a puff she closed her eyes and fell to sleep. Something would eventually rouse her from her sleep and she'd be there to greet it. Hopefully it'd be Dorian to come and apologize to her...

Seven had been walking - strolling, really - along outside when something caught her eye. A thing. A little white thing that reminded her so much of... well, a much bigger white thing that she had fought several times in the ring. Pausing, she turned to peek in between the shuttered slats of the yard fencing. Sure enough, there was a little white furball sitting aimlessly in the yard.
Well, that was interesting. Ears perked forward as she regarded what she had originally thought was a midget Mokai. Clearly, it was not a midget, but a very young one. A puppy. Now, that was certainly interesting. It had been a while since she had last seen a puppy.
"Do you belong to somebody?" She asked through the little crack. Okay, stupid question. Of course it belonged to somebody, it was wearing a collar. What she meant was if it had parents. Whcih was also not the most intelligent of questions but... Whatever. It was a puppy.

What a stupid question, thought Nefertari as she yawned, stretched, and got up from her cozy spot. "Uh yah..." She commented sarcastically, "That's why I'm sitting in a yard, tied up...." Was this seemly dark mokai messed up in the head or something? Ok usually she wasn't this much of a jerk, it was just she had been roused from her sleep and this whatever mokai was not Dorian to take her inside.
Then she pressed her ears to her head and bent her head, "Sorry." The little white mokai whispered, "I'm just tired and Dorian isn't back and Dad's who knows where, and I'm stuck." She whimpered. "And my friend isn't here to get me out of my yard or the leash." Nefertari gave a whimper and then tried to wrestle the lead that held her before giving up. "I hate being grounded."

Eye roll. Well, clearly that wasn't what she meant. Silly little pup. Oh well. Seven peered closer to see the tether attached to the pup's collar. That certainly didn't seem like an ideal situation. Even she would have grown restless.
"Oh," she said sympathetically. "I'm sorry." There wasn't much she could do from where she stood. It wasn't like she could easily get over the fence - not since she'd gotten a little bi fat lately, anyway. It was a little bit harder to hop around.
Any other week, though, maybe she would have. Boundaries were not really Seven's strong suit, and she had few qualms about hopping into strangers' back yards, and this was certainly no exception. Maybe she'd have to come back some day, just to intrude.
"Who's your daddy?" She added. Maybe a little conversation and company would help ease the pup's boredom.

This other mokai was strange, and she didn't even give her name. The question about her dad made her c**k her head, "Why do you want to know about my dad?" He was inside with Dorian, getting check over again since he opened his wounds. How he had gotten those wounds, her father wouldn't say. However she knew he was disappointed in her, for what again she didn't know.
"Erebus is my dad. Ai is my mom. I've got a brother and a sister too." Might as well come forth with some other information in case this mokai wanted to know more. "What's your name?" She asked.

Seven blinked. Erebus? Ai? Those two? Well that was certainly an... interesting pairing. She wouldn't have thought. An unexpected move - Seven certainly approved, and it wasn't like the results were all too bad. It was good to have sassy children. Sassy children would grow up to be confident fighters, and that was important.
"My name is Seven," she replied, peering over at he pup again. Both Erebus and Ai were good fighters. She would have to keep an eye out for their children, too, she supposed. They, too, could grow up to be formidable opponents.
"I just... know your dad, is all," she added. Kind of. She had yet to talk to Erebus outside of the ring. "And your mother." She certainly did know Ai. Seven smiled at the thought. Imagine that, meeting Ai's children. Now that was something she never would have thought she would do.

Seven. That was a strange name but she wouldn't comment on it. Just like her name was probably strange to others. "Hello Seven." She replied back as she heard the name, "I'm Nefertari. You can call me Nef though. Dad does." Sometimes he name was a handful and usually her full name was only used if she did something really bad.
"You know both of them? Have you fought either of my parents?" She wondered. She was sure that was how her dad got his wounds, in the ring... the who did them was the answer she wouldn't be able to find out. Unless she asked around. Snooping in her father's business however, might not be in the best interest.
The small white pup whined as she pulled at the tether again. This time going away from the fence to chew on the spot it was tied. "Erg. I want out."

"That's a beautiful name," she replied with a smile. It was hard to imagine any of the fighters she had met with children. Certainly not Ai, but that was no matter. Now she knew something else about the other Mokai, some new vulnerability. Not that Seven would ever involve children in the matters of adults, but it was always something to keep in mind.
"I've fought both, actually," Seven said with a nod. She hadn't exactly fared well against Ai, but she had won against Erebus once, though she didn't imagine Nef would be too interested in hearing about her father's losses.
After all, a father was supposed to be invincible.
She peered through the slats again, watching as the pup pulled at her leash. "I wish I could help you," she said with a frown. "But I doubt I could get into your yard." Fence too high, Seven too fat. At the moment, anyway. Hopefully, that would go away soon.

Nefertari bowed as she turned her attention from her tether. "Thank you. Dorian seems to like exotic names. I think it fits perfectly with me." Seven had met her parents in the ring! The young pup was glad that Seven didn't talk about the ring though, it wasn't something she wanted to hear much about until she got older and just nodded to the statement.
"Its fine." The young pup said, "I'll be fine until Dorian comes out. They're-"
A whistle rang out and she sat down without even thinking, tail wagging as she awaited her master. "Dorian's coming out! You should probably go since I won't be coming back out now. Dinner!" Getting all bouncy. "I'll see you again some other time?"

The russet Mokai nodded. Ah, those puphood days when everything was exciting, especially dinner. Not that Seven had had much personal experience with that. Dinner for young Seven had meant an all-out tussle with the boys, fighting tooth and nail for whatever scraps they could get for themselves. Dinner had certainly not been a cause for excitement back in her day.
"You take good advantage of that nice home you've got," she said, before turning to leave. "See you around, little one." Seven didn't doubt it. Soon, Nef would grow and become a fighter in her own right. Maybe they would even meet in the ring sometime in the future.
But until then, they could both keep on their own way, enjoying their own respective dinners.
