DEUS EX MACHINA PERSONNEL FORM The Hunter
Name: Vanessa Arrian.
Nicknames: Epsilon Three, E-3, etc?
Gender: Female.
Age: Seventeen-Eighteen-ish?
Category: Life - Related to "research", including research specifically OF Halloween, its specimens, and ultimately Fear and the abilities of Fear and Hunters.
The Weapon
Name: Voltaire.
Nicknames: Volt, Sparky, Tessie (due to his weapon type), etc.
Type of Weapon: Shoulder-Mountable Tesla-Cannon.
Former species of weapon: Monster, Electricity Dragon.
Gender: Male.
Vanessa:
Vanessa is a serious person by nature. She often studies and plans out her words and actions before implementing them, thinking ahead to contemplate whatever possibility may occur and trying to chose the best option. She likes to make educated choices, and does not like to having to make on-the-spot choices for important matters. This would explain why she'd be placed in the 'Life' category of Hunters. She likes knowing so that, if it comes down to her having to do something to survive, she'll at least have some knowledge of whatever the problem is. (She's the type who reads wilderness survival books for entertainment and know-how.) If some piece of information can give her an edge, she'll seek out said information. Likewise, if forming an alliance with someone can help her out, she'll debate it for a moment, before accepting said alliance, if only because forging connections could help her some day.
Even though Vanessa is serious, that doesn't mean that she can't have fun. She will laugh or smile when presented with something outrageously funny or something that genuinely pleases her. (She used to smile a lot back home, when she was spending time with her little sister.) Vanessa also believes that people should get their work done before playing around. Procrastination is not a familiar topic, so when Vanessa is assigned to do something, she be tackling that assignment for all she's worth, until she's beaten it or it's beaten her. She takes her responsibilities, as a Hunter, a confidant, whatever, very seriously and will try to do whatever it is that is asked of her. She also has a burning determination to accomplish any task presented in front of her, and she will not back down until she's done it, or unless she has to give in.
Vanessa is also very much a 'momma bear'-type of person. If any threat comes near anyone she cares about, she will not hesitate to try destroying whatever that threat may be. Years of watching over Vivian have made Vanessa a very over-protective, watchful older sister, and this hasn't changed even though Vivian is no longer a part of Vanessa's life. Anyone who Vanessa deems worthy of her motherly protection will usually get a supporting ally until the day one of them dies.
Even though Voltaire is so different from Vanessa, she tolerates him rather well (when he isn't yapping her ear off about lame jokes). She kind of feels for him as if he's a younger brother of hers, or something to that extent. Probably due to his sense of humor and failed puns. Her protective, mother-hen mindset allows her to take to carrying Volt around rather well. (However, if he says one more lame joke, she may try to throw him.) Likewise, Volt wants to impress Vanessa, since he knows she'll be a good Hunter for him and wants her to like him for who he is.
Voltaire:
Voltaire would like to believe that he's a very funny, classy gentleman. He most definitely is not. He would also like to believe that he is a connoisseur of lame jokes. And he most definitely is. The Tesla Cannon has a passion for anything that could be a lame pun, joke, or that could make people groan and shake their heads from how horrible it was. He peppers his mind-speech with phrases like "Watts up?" and then continues to try explaining why that would be considered funny (since he IS an electric weapon and all) to Vanessa, since he has a vague speculation that his Hunter does not have a sense of humor. After all, if she had a sense of humor, she'd be laughing at his amazing jokes, right? Right?
The electric dragon turned Tesla Cannon doesn't really understand how to be serious. He'll often suggest silly little pranks that they could do to the other Hunters, or simply joke around. All the time. Including in the middle of a fight. There seems to be no off button to turn off Volt's joking, and what irritates Vanessa the most about his constant stream of jokes is the fact that he thinks he's the funniest person in the world. He often chuckles at his own jokes, occasionally even cracking up before he can get the punchline out. More or less it sounds similar to a radio going straight to static in Vanessa's head when he's laughing, too.
Volt almost loves brain-teasers and puzzles as much as jokes and puns. Their complexity and perplexity greatly amuses the weapon, and the easiest way Vanessa can get him to focus on something is to tell him that it's a puzzle she needs help working out. This also works for when she needs him to be quiet, as he can actually focus rather well when given a direction or an outlet. (Haha, see what he did there? Outlet? It's funny since he's an electric dragon! :'D (Please note, this is what Vanessa constantly has to put up with in her brain.))
Despite Vanessa's apparent lack of a funny bone, Volt still enjoys her company quite a bit. It may, or may not, be because Vanessa is such a serious person, in all honesty. The clarity of her decisions impresses him, and she overall generally perplexes him, just like a complicated puzzle he wants to figure out.

Vanessa is the oldest of two daughters. Her younger sister, Vivian, means the world to Vanessa, and she would do anything to protect little Vivi. Vanessa could always deal with the shadowy things personally. While they bothered her, she could deal with it and try to ignore them the best she could. However, when Vivi started to see them too, Vanessa knew she had to do something to get rid of those monsters before they could terrorize her little sister any further. After the incident at the theme park, Vanessa accepted the invitation to become a Hunter the next time the hooded figure spoke to her.
Weapon Ability: -- Lightning Storm -- ((Swift Strikes)) Volt is shot up into the air, and then the lightning rains down toward Vanessa's target in a flurry of concentrated bolts. (While this is happening, Volt will probably be saying something along the lines of "Watts going down, Vanessa? Get it? Since it's lightning coming down! 8'D" to Vanessa, who will mentally face-palm at him.) Please Note: The lightning bolts are not all that powerful, and don't really do much damage. l'D; Maybe a little shock, but that's about it. Targets can interpret how it hits their character (like a shock, a zap, etc.), so just know it's an electric-based attack that doesn't do much damage. ^^
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Blue eyes? (Or whatever color works well with the rest of the design. l'D; )
Hair Colour/Style: Long orange-red hair? It's wavy and reaches to around her lower back. (If the color doesn't look good, feel free to toy with it? ^^; )
Skin Colour: White. (with a slight tan? Maybe with freckles? Whatever the artist wants to do~ XD; )
Clothing Style/Colours: Vanessa's probably the type to wear cargo pants/capris/whatever-as-long-as-it-has-pockets, with enough pockets she can keep anything she might need. Probably a dark short-sleeve shirt of some kind? (I trust her artist with her shirt, so...) She's proud of her Hunter's coat, so she'd probably be wearing it properly. (The long kind of coat, if possible? Trench-coat? Etc? Artist preference, I suppose. XDD; ) Her sash/scarf should be long and jagged? Colors like lightning, maybe? Combat boots? Maybe? ((If her design/colors doesn't work very well, uh, Artistic License can be used. l'D; I trust my artist~))
Extra: She has a tall, thin build, and isn't too feminine. The Tesla Cannon is probably massive in comparison to Vanessa, too. l'D; Feel free to make the Tesla Cannon as rune-like/magical as needed. XD
(In general, her artist can do what they think would make it look better. XD;; )
