Zo-Zo

The young female was sitting alone in the den. Others looking upon her may have thought she was lonely, though her eyes glimmering with thought. The sooner she could get the hell out of here, the better. Flicking her tail lazily, she cast her harsh glare against the den wall, wondering if any of her siblings or parents would make an appearence. It was unusual to have peace for this long.

Thinking to her siblings she remembered Mbali, and with a grateful purr, wondered exactly how he could be used to her advantage.... He certainly seemed gullible enough.

The mostly white cub made his way home. He had quite a nice walk and was happy to return home. He called it home for now, well it was home when ever his older sister wasn't around, when she was, home was anywhere but near her. He didn't like his sister not at all, she was mean and horrible and not worthy of his time, yep not worthy! She was worse then all boys put together! She was, it was true! Useless girl!

Zo-Zo
Mbaya noticed her brother and instantly replaced her sly expression with a smile. "Hello Mbali!" She said cheerfully, rising to greet him. Even her eyes had been replaced by a seeming truthful sheen as opposed to her malicious stare. "How've you been?" Her smile widened slightly, tail curling its way around her foreleg.

Remove
"Oh its you." He didn't look too impressed with her "act". He still entered the den and curled up in a corner far from his sister. "Why act like you care, we all know you don't Mbaya." He licked at his peach paw as his blue eyes watched her, his ears flat on his head. He didn't trust his older sister.

Zo-Zo
Mbaya faltered a little, blinking with a frown. Her expression wasn't sweet, nor plotting. In fact she looked a little confused. Did her siblings really hate her so? She wondered what it was like to actually have friends... She knew her other siblings were well liked. Why couldn't she be nice to one person?

"Oh.. erm.." She mumbled quietly. "Well, erm..." She didn't quite know how to approach this situation. "I... Sorry bro..." Her voice was quiet. But she had actually apologised... What was wrong with her? And was this guilt she felt towards her brother?!

Remove
His ears suddenly perked up hearing the what ever it was in her voice. "How can I know your not acting." He looked at his paw as he continued to wash it. They had all learnt not to trust the older sister, even mother and father had, Mchele and Dazni too proberly. He ignored her for now though. She had to prove she was telling the truth!

Zo-Zo
Shaking her head, she realised exactly how much trust people gave her. None. "Well, it's up to you to place a little trust in me." Her eyes flickered to her brother again, tainted with sadness. She didn't want to be disliked, and she didn't want to be hated by all her siblings.

"I don't know why I feel like this, but I guess I'm guilty. I lashed out at the only person who hasnt hurt me or irritated me..."

Remove
"Mbaya, hardly anyone has hurt you or annoyed you, you do it to them!" He sat up now and looked at her, his eyes as cold as her's normally were. "You learn to be nice Mbaya, then others might trust you, but you have to give reasons to be trusted not hurt everyone. You should feel guilty, you deserve it." He stood up now and stretched as if he were going to leave.

Zo-Zo
For the first time in her short life, the arrogant and plain nasty female felt sorry, she felt sorry and even a little intimidated. "But.." She shook her head. "Forget it.." She turned, walking a little futhur away from her brother, but her eyes were shining with tears. Why was she being so damn sensetive? She blinked them away. But this was the truth...

Remove
Something alot of people didn't realise was how harsh Mbali could be, he did it in a way that didn't always seem like he was being harsh as most of the time he would use truth to hurt people, which he was doing now.

He turned and sat in the doorway, the light giving him an intimidating large shadow in the cave. He then laughed, just laughed and laughed. "Your great Mbaya, your own tricks work on you!" He laughed more and stood up tensed, he expected her to attack being that is what she did to mother.

Zo-Zo
Mbaya let out her own harsh laugh. "Only if you're stupid enough to believe me, which you proved you werent. I'll give you that.." She turned with an expression of pure anger and neared him, her famous malicious look returning to her face. "My dear brother." Her voice retained its silky smooth tone. "I'll kill you." Flicking her tail again she swiveled around and reclined. "Not without a few games, first."

Malaika could hear raised voices echoing through the cave, so she got up from where she was napping and looked around for Mahiri before tentatively heading towards the mouth of the cave. When she spotted her two rube older siblings, she tilted her head and little and blinked, wondering why they were arguing. "Hey!" She piped up, stepping a little out of the shadows around the corner of the cave, only revealing her small rounded head. "Are you guys OK? I could hear angry voices..."

Mbali's ear swerved round as he heard his sister, "Later Mbaya, you will learn." He smirked and then turned with a totally new expression on his face. "Hey sis!" He trotted over to her and nuzzled her before turning back to Mbaya, oh the fun in this.

"How are you Malaika?" He asked with a smile on his face, he wa being totally different but he liked his innocent little sister, who wouldn't she was just so adorable!

Zo-Zo
Mbayas sly eyes slid to survey her golden sister. "Oh for gods sake, hers little miss innocent..." Rolling her eyes animatedly she licked a slighty dust-covered paw. "Do me a favour and curl up and die please?" She laughed with visions of her sister being ripped apart by a huge lion. She was mad, mad and completely evil.

~Masamune~
Malaika nuzzled her brother back, happily welcoming any affection that was thrown her way. "I'm good thanks!" That didn't last for long though as Mbaya spoke up. Her dark grey eyes shimmered like silver as tears welled up in them, accompanied by a soft whimper that escaped her throat. "Daddy says you shouldn't talk to others like that, it's not nice..."

Remove
Mbali shot a look at Mbaya and then licked at his sister's head, "Just ignore Mbaya, she isn't worth it. She doesn't have any friends like us adn because of that she is sour and just, jealous." He turned with an evil smirk on his face making sure only Mbaya saw it. He knew she was being truthful earlier however much she tried to hide it. He stayed close to Malaika's side, like a good older brother.

Zo-Zo
Her smile never faded, her eyes glittering. "You watch, one day I'll rip you apart." Laughing she neared the honey coloured cub, showing her the several sharp claws she possessed. "But until then. I'll have my fun." Mbaya smiled in a sickening way.

A large ivory coloured lion entered the den, each step was a huge thump as his paw fell to the dusty ground. He had been watching for a while, and was disguisted with Mbaya. He roared at her. "Mbaya! You will never DARE to speak to ANYONE like that ever again!" He had never been so angry, his eyes were narrowed and his body tall and towering over the cub. He picked up his daughter and placed her in the corner, where she sneered and gave a dirty look to her father. "Stay there, and do not move a single muscle until i tell you to."

Mbaya snorted, "I don't need you bossing me around!" She rose and padded out of the den. She would find her own way to amuse herself. Maybe she could kill something.

Mahiri had also noticed Mbali, and he was a little dissapointing too. He lowered his head slowly to nuzzle Malaika. She was so sweet, and she was definately going to grow up to be like her mother, gentle and loving. His scarlet eyes were comforting, as he spoke softly. "You ok, Sweetheart?"

~Masamune~
Malaika was only a little comforted by her brother before her sister started on her again. After hearing Mbaya's threat the poor cub burst into tears and flopped down on to the ground, cowering and crying all at the same time. "I've never done anything to you!" She wailed. The crying only ceased when Mahiri came along. "Daddyyy!" Malaika jumped up and dived in between his front legs, nuzzling against him and wiping her tears away. "Daddy, you won't let her hurt me, will you?" All the golden cub needed was some reassurance after being so frightened by her sister.

Bakhti had been hunting not too far off when she had heard her mate roar and the words Mbaya. She sighed and carried the fat rabbit back towards the den where she saw Mbaya run off and Malaika hidden between her mates feet. The girl needed to be taught a lesson.

She trotted up to her mate and nuzzled him putting the rabbit on the floor in front of her daughter, "Eat that Malaika, she wont hurt you!" Bakhti turned to see Mbali sneaking up to the food, "go and find your sister and bring her back now!" She then turned back to her mate and her frightened daughter.

Mbali had been trying to get to the food but was happy enough to trot after his sister, after all he could wind her up some more. He trotted after her and it didn't take him long to catch up. "Mbaya, Mbaya, oh what have you done now..." He smirked as he trotted up beside her jumping on rocks occasionally. He loved to try and wind up his sister.

Zo-Zo
Mahiri nuzzled Bakhti, and turned to lick Malaika fondly on the head. "No-one shall ever hurt you. Especially Mbaya..." He sighed, watching Mbali streak out of the den to attempt to find Mbaya. "What did we do to deserve a daughter like her?" He voiced his thoughts. "I hate how nasty she is, she threatened to kill her own lovley sister!" He shook his head.

Mbaya was sitting on a rock somewhere, yawning with a bored expression. Stupid family. How she hated them. She neared the edge of the cliff, bits of it started to crumble, but she was too lost in her own thoughts to notice.

~Masamune~
Malaika tip-toed out from under Mahiri after he had reassured her and nudged the rabbit with her paw to check that it was dead and wasn't going to spring up and take revenge on her. She really was shaken after what had just happened with Mbaya, but she felt a lot better and safer with both her parents there to reassure and protect her. "Thank you mummy..." The sweet cub jumped over the rabbit to nuzzle Bakhti before turning round and tucking into the rabbit with some difficulty, as she still hadn't quite gotten the hang of chewing meat instead of just feeing on her mother's milk.

Bakhti smiled down at her daughter and looked back to her mate and sighed. She sat down by his side and watched her daughter struggling with the rabbit. "How are we going to control that girl? Mbaya will cause the pride chaos if she isn't careful andwe can't afford exile." She was thinking seriously and she was indeed worried that her daughter would get them exiled even though both the king and queen were lovely creatures, she still worried.

Mbali saw his sister and laughed, "Ah suicide, the way out of life!" He chuckled before actually seeing how this was working, the rocks under her feet were slowly slipping and he was sure she didn't realise, she wasn't going to die was she? He worried and gulped, "Mbaya..." He spoke in a worried tone as another, larger rock fell. He couldn't bear this. He jumped over to her, being careful not to move any more of the rocks, he then with his teeth got hold of Mbaya and pulled her away as quickly as he could.

Zo-Zo
Mahiri nodded sadly. "We'll have to talk to her. Hopefully we can turn her around, I mean, she's still a cub, her personality is still devolping... Maybe we can have a postive influence on her..." He looked down to his daughter. "I wish she was more like Malaika..."

Mbaya sneered as she heard her brothers comment, though as she shifted to face him, the rocks began to crumble faster and her eyes widened in suprise. She felt a sudden pang of fear, overcoming all other emotions as she tried desperately to scurry away from the edge.

The next thing she knew, her younger brother had pulled her to safety, and she fell in a little fluffy heap at his paws, feeling very grateful and ashamed.

~Masamune~
Malaika only ate a small portion of the rabbit before she decided she was full. She then sat down and started licking her paws and then wiping her muzzle, trying to get all the blood off. One thing she didn't like was being dirty. Once she was all clean, she hopped up and trotted over to Mahiri, clearly feeling much better. The conversation that her parents were having confused her a bit though. "Is Mbaya gonna get us all in trouble?"

Remove
Bakhti nodded at her mate before looking down at her daughter, "Hopefully, no. We will try and talk to her or maybe get Nitesh or Mbali to talk with her, see if they can calm her down at least a little." She smiled and laid down before pulling her daughter towards her to give her a bath.

Mbali looked down at his sister and just watched her, "Don't go killing ya'self now, its not healthy." His blue eyes looked at her rather amused. She had nearly died and he had saved her, now what did the oh so precious girl have to say about that? He was looking forward to this.

Zo-Zo
"Yeah, She really is out of order.." Gazing at the dusty floor, he though back to Kib and how easy it had been in those days. She was just as gentle and as sweet as Malaika. "Let's hope Mbali can straighten things out with her..."

Mbaya looked up to her speckled brother in shame. Her voice had once again changed, sounding a little shakey this time. "T-thankyou..." She blinked, pulling herself upright. "I owe you.. Mbali.." It was the first time the female had adressed her brother by name instead of a swear or insult.

~Masamune~

Malaika nodded and accepted the answer she was given. She was about to say that Mbaya can't be all bad when her mother started bathing her. The golden cub giggled and arched her back up and straightened her tail out as Bakhti's tongue tickled her body. "Stop it mummy I'm clean!" Laughing, she flopped on to her side and pawed at Bakhti's face, trying to dodge her tongue.

Zo-Zo
"Pfft." Mbaya let out a genuine laugh. "Pushing it, Mbali." Her eyes looked thoughtful as she sighed heavily. "Let's make a truce?" She offered. Hoping he would see her good side now, the side she would reveal to him, and only him. "I don't want to be nasty to you, especially now I owe you, so i wont.."

~Masamune~
Malaika giggled out loud and couldn't do anything to stop her mother from tickling her tummy. "Save me daddy!" She called out, still giggling whilst stretching her paws out to reach Mahiri. Of course she didn't actually need saving, she was just playing around and wanted her daddy to join in.

Remove
Bakhti chuckled and carried on tickling her daughter. She licked at Mahiri before paying attention to her youngest once more.

"Pushing it? As if I would." He chuckled and let a sly smile cross his face, "Fine a truce it is, just dont cramp my style, I wont cramp yours. I won't ever forget you owe me either, but for now, lets go back, and try for once in your life to be civilalised, that or you might actually get yuorself killed and I will need you one day." He chuckled and turned to go back to where everyone but Nitesh was.

A slight purr formed in her throat, perhaps the first signs of affection towards her younger brother. Today she had to swallow her pride, but she decided she would rather do that than fall to her death amoungst tons of crumbling rocks.

Mbaya sighed. "Alright.." Pausing, she started to pad in the direction of the den. "But don't expect me to be nice to them. I guess I'll just have to shutup." She rolled her eyes cheekily.

Mbali smiled, "Good, ya know being good around them or at least seeming to be works so much better then causing trouble all the time, after all I am a little angel!" He chuckled and turned to go back, "Come on hurry up!" He had got his way, again.

"Hmm." Mbaya grinned, It appeared she wasn't the only little actor around here. "Well I guess I can try..." She sounded like this was a huge favour she was offering to do. Her voice long and bored. Looking to her spotted sibling, she noticed that he wasn't that bad at all! Maybe it had been her fault that he was just as nasty as her? Tail flicking suddenly, she thought back to the den and gave a burdened sigh.
