Personality Traits: Jayce is a silver tongued rogue, preferring to win with words. If he can't persuade an enemy to flee, his charming visage sheds to reveal the "Black Lion", his fury and ruthlessness taking form as a seperate personality. It's believed this split came into being when he was experimented on by Tevinter Magisters.
Background (Personal Story): Jayce was born on the streets of Tevinter, being made a slave early on in life. Unlike most slaves, who were used as servants, Jayce was made into a guinea pig for the Tevinter Magisters to experiment on. Nothing ever took, seeing as Jayce had a slightly higher magic resistance, and the only noticeable change in him was the personality split, creating Jayce and the "Black Lion", the embodiment of his pent up rage. One of the other slave helped him escape, finding him a place as a servant in a minor nobles home. It was there, in secret, that he trained his skills as a marksman, preferring the crossbow due to his abilities focusing less on dexterity and more on cunning.

Sparing the Magisters reveals they experimented on him to save him from a plague that almost took his life, that "Black Lion" is more the pain of the plague ravaging his body, earning him Assassin's Truth, a palette swap of his elite companion armor.
