How was one supposed to locate a cat who worked for the Negaverse in Destiny City? This was currently the hurdle that ********* was sorting through at the moment. Each individual guardian, regardless of size, only leaked a very minimal amount of energy, which made it much more difficult to track a fellow Mauvian.
After living in this city for long enough, ********* had learned a few tricks of the trade. Certainly, living on the streets most times ensured she knew things like shortcuts and the best places to get free food. There were other secrets too which were not proven facts, but seemed to have a strange amount of truth to them.
Like how the park tended to attracted many of the different Senshi and Negaverse Agents out into the open.
So there the round manx was in the middle of the evening, trotting about back and forth. There weren't many people about at that point, so she started to sing out in a playful manner "DAH. LEE. AH. DAWWWWLIA!"
Step one, find Dahlia.
Step two was something ********* would worry about after completing step one.

Her ears tucked downwards as the strange call broke through the night air, her nose and whiskers twitching with distaste. Though ********* didn't know, nor had Dahlia quite yet pieced together the bits, the white cat was actually in the park waiting in hopes of finding on of ********* own girls lurking. She'd grown instantly fond of the girl and often popped by the place she'd first met the little senshi in hopes of seeing her again. What a strange concidence that the manx might happen upon her when she was out looking for someone else in such a big city.
From her place on the swing, she perked up finally, trying to spot who could possibly know her name and be making the racket. Color her surprised when the sight of the vaguely familiar kitten touched her eyes.
"What are you doing?" She piped up, a mild annoyance lingering on her voice. If that cat was actually trying to set her up and lure some senshi to him with ill intent well.. that little manx was going to be sorry. "Quit making so much noise."

The manx paused and glanced about after being told to quiet down. There wasn't really anybody around, and she couldn't sense anything that had any sort of power. So the warning to "quit making noise" also seemed to go ignored as the round little manx trotted over to the swings where the other cat was perched, her collar jingling the whole time.
"I was looking for you, Dahlia!" she said in a chipper genuine tone. "I have a proposal for you... not as a senshi-cat, but as a fellow Mauvian." Once the smaller cat's feet stopped, she was right in front of the swing the other cat was claiming for herself. She sat herself down and merely looked up to her current company.
"Would you be interested in hearing me out? Or do you insist I quiet down so the lack of people don't catch onto the fact that we can both talk?"

She didn't appreciate the 'attitude' or rather, the comment that she assumed to be chiding, her whiskers twitching with soft annoyance. "Don't tell me you've found a way to detect humans now."
"Just because you don't see them doesn't mean there are none around to be drawn out by yelling." Her long tail flicked once, a harsh motion cutting through the air as if to place a period on the statement.
Other then the mild look of annoyance though Dahlia remained seated, watching the cat that she had so far deemed as fairly harmless with vague curiousity. "I don't mind talking, just don't go around shrieking like a child. What kind of a proposal...?" She looked down at her paw, like a woman that was perhaps checking her nails to make sure they were perfectly manicured, but the pivoting forward of her ears and the soft coiling and uncoiling of her tail gave away her actual interest in the mysterious topic.

If it was possible for a cat to smirk, then ********* was totally doing that at the moment. "There are ways around such things you know, Dahlia. It is pretty easy to trick people if they do catch you talking." That guy friend of Ellie's was proof of such, since he continually kept being around when she talked. It probably had more to do with the fact he was high off of marijuana quite a bit.
However, before the other paler cat could get in a word to disagree, she went for the meat of the proposal. "Many of the Mauvians in the city have been working on a device so we can go back to the world of Mau. Would you be interested in going back to where we came from for a quick visit?" There was a pause in her voice as she tried to judge the other cat's expression. Then she vocalized a hope of hers. "Maybe it will help you remember some of the things you forgot."
Was it necessary for the manx to mention that she only had the permission to seek out Dahlia due to a lack of power sources? Not at the moment. It would probably come up eventually, but ********* wasn't about to shove that into the other cat's face.

She didn't say anything in particular in defense or argument to the statement but she didn't really need to. A loud and very slow and deliberate breath was taken in, before being excelled in something of a sigh.
Good thing '*********' was already taking again and Dahlia didn't have time to come up with something catty and unpleasant to say. The offer was a strange one, certainly not anything like she could have imagined. A way to return to Mau...? Their home? Had they been clever enough to find out a way to even do that? She shifted thoughtfully in place.
She didn't feel particularly drawn to the location.. not in the way that the other cats probably felt if they were this driven to build a device. But that didn't mean she wasn't curious.. ecspecially when the smaller cat added on.
It might help her remember....
All the lost details that hide at the shadowed corners of her mind... All the questions she had about everything... There was actually a viable possibility for an answer. She would be incredibly stupid to decline. Even if the only insights and information she got was mild information on her enemy mauvians, that too was too precious to pass up.
"It is a little strange that you are asking me.. Do the others know that you intend to have me tag along?" But she shrugged off the idea simply as the smaller cat deludedly thinking that a simple visit to the planet would rebrainwash her.. put her back on the 'white moon kool aid' so to say.
Lifting herself from her seat, she hopped down from the swing and onto the grass, necklace jangling softly. "In anycase I would indeed like to come."
Was she walking into a trap? Potentially.. Could she handle herself if it ended up being a trap? Only time would tell. And if it wasn't a trap.. well that meant it would probably come at a cost. "So then what is the trip going to cost me kitten?"

The manx remained settled in place, still remaining absolutely pleasant like a good girl. Even if the other cat had just called her a kitten while abandoning her swing seat to claim a spot on the grass. "They do know. In fact, they asked me to seek you out." There was no way ********* could go dodging the facts now.
With a puff of a sigh, the manx mentioned, "We needed more Mauvians in order to make the machine work properly."
The tailless cat still kept her cool and remained her usual cheerful self, even if she revealed something which could have been seen as quite a serious point. "The only thing that this will cost you is your presence and a temporary cease-fire amongst the Mauvians. We will be meeting at a neutral place in the warehouse district of Destiny City." She then lifted up her rump, signaling she was probably ready to get going already.
"Do you have any questions for me?"

Ahh.. so all they needed was power. And they were willing enough to cross lines for it? She didn't know if they would have done of the same had the tables been turned. But then.. if the negaverse had set out to do something similar they of course wouldn't have failed.
"It is easy to ask for ceasefire when you're the ones with a number advantage." Perhaps she was being presumptious.. but considering she only really knew of two mauvians on their side of the lines... well.. she was assuming there would be more than just ********* and one other where they were going. She had used the word 'they' after all. "It's only fair you let me know how out numbered I will be."

"The ceasefire is both sides, Dahlia. We also have to mind our manners." ********* giggled slightly, which might have seemed inappropriate if it weren't for the extremely friendly tone she had been speaking in. The moment the fluffier cat asked about the numbers, the manx lifted up a paw, as if she was trying to count it out in her head. However, she didn't have enough digits on one paw, so soon enough another paw was up in the air, forcing the cat to balance herself into holding her upper body up in the air slightly like how a dog does when begging. That still wasn't enough digits, and soon enough she had rolled onto her back to count the rest, all paws in the air.
"Well, last I had heard, there were about 15 cats... but I do not think there were going to be that many showing up." With another giggle, the manx rolled back to her side, then up to her feet.
"If you stick next to me, I promise that I won't let anybody bother you, Dahlia!" It was a bit of a leap of faith on ********* part to make such a promise, but she needed to make sure Dahlia would remain invested in this whole ordeal.

15... Her and Masahiro were standing at as big of a disadvantage as 2 to 15? Again the worry that the good cats would suddenly change their mind and try to take out the two cats... She couldn't even BLAME them if they tried.. so the only thing she had to hope for was that the desire for the little trip was greater than their desire of retribution.
Geez though.. if the moon cats were as dopey as this one... or as naive and.. well whatever it was that Tomlin was. Well perhaps the numbers didn't matter as much as she thought.
She couldn't hide the laughter as the smaller cat made an offer to protect her, unable to even remotely imagine a scene in which the tiny giggley cat could protect her from anything. The laugh was long and amused, only ending finally when she shook her head to try and stop it, her body taking an amused sway as she circled the other cat once. "Alright then. I'll be there, with bells on." Actually that probably wasn't a lie, it was very likely Dahlia would spend a good amount of time on grooming herself premeeting.
"Better keep your promise kitten." She scoffed again in amusement, giving the other cat a mild wink.

Dahlia circled a bit closer than ********* had expected after letting out a decent amount of laughter. The other cat's tail had flicked past her tiny nose, tickling it in just a manner that caused the manx to let out a small sneeze. She paused to wipe her nose with a paw before nodding her head with a big smile.
"Always!" With that, the manx ran off. There were still so many things to do on her list of activities for the evening, so there was no point to dilly-dallying about.
