It was almost time to go home and sleep. Sailor Lenka was playing on the jungle gym in the park, laughing as she tried to climb across the monkey bars. It was getting very late, and the watch she kept in her big bag had beeped to tell her it was eleven o’clock. She gave a sigh and swung upwards, catching her feet in the bars, letting herself hang upside down for a few seconds, laughing as her hair nearly touched the sandy ground. How fun was it to just hang upside down? It was awesome.
The senshi hopped off of the monkey bars then waited for the blood to stop rushing to her head before she stretched and went to go get her bag, packing up to go home. It had been a fun night of patrol…nothing had happened!
She liked it when she could just goof off at night!

It seemed that Sailor Leto was doing a whole lot of patrolling in the park lately. In fact, she felt like almost all of her patrolling took place there. She was determined to find Pomona and beat her face in though, and she figured the park would be the most likely place for her to run into the other Senshi.
Tonight, however, was not her lucky night.
Leto was making her usual rounds through the park, albeit a lot earlier than usual. Typically, she patrolled after midnight (and usually it was in Blood Moon territory downtown, not in the park until recently), but tonight she was bored and wanted to see if anything new awaited her this early in the night.
When she passed the jungle gym, something immediately caught her eye. A child, at eleven at night? Her right eyebrow raised slightly when she realized that the child was in a fuku and possessed that familiar White Moon aura.
Curiouser and curiouser.
She approached the girl quietly, hands clamped behind her back as she walked. "Don't you think you're out late?"

Lenka stiffened as she heard a voice. Uh-oh. She was busted. Her mind ran through a million different assumptions of who it was that had managed to catch her out so late, finally stopping on the thought that it was a police officer coming to arrest her for breaking some curfew. If she would have just stopped for a moment and sensed the aura, maybe she wouldn’t have been so panicked, making an escape plan in her head before slowly turning around.
“Uh…”
Huh? This wasn’t a police officer at all…it was someone in a fuku? It was another senshi? Lenka’s look of dread turned to one of delight. “Oh hello! I’m just patrolling!” She began walking over, smiling and bouncing a little with each step, until she finally felt the darkness in Leto’s aura. This caused her to stop cold.
“Oh…You’re one of the bad people…”

Leto's head tilted to one side when the girl began to approach her and then stop dead in her tracks. Obviously the kid caught on to who and what she was. She crouched down to bring herself to the kid's level- is that how you stop them from being intimidated? Or was that for dogs?
Whatever.
She offered the girl a slight smile.
"Patrolling? All by yourself? Do your mommy and daddy know that you're out here? There are a lot of mean people out this late at night, you know..."
There was a slight glimmer in her eye when she said that. Not that she really went out of her way to beat up kids or anything, but she was a White Moon Senshi. Huh. That would be a predicament.

She swallowed, taking a step backwards. “Yeah…I’m by myself…Pomona was busy tonight so she couldn’t come…”
It probably wasn’t the best idea to say Pomona’s name…but Pomona was a super senshi! And she was strong! She was really strong and really cool! Besides, they were on a team now, so it was okay to say that. It was okay to say her name.
“Of course my mom and dad don’t know…they’re not allowed to know I’m a senshi…but I do gotta get home…it’s late and I have school work to do tomorrow…so I can’t talk much…”
She wanted to get out of there…and quickly. Before this scary lady pushed her down like the other guy had. She didn’t like being pushed down.
It never occurred to her that the chaos aligned people could or would do more then just shove her down…she didn’t want to let that thought enter her mind.

"Pomona?" She said, her voice very clearly dripping in anger when she said that name. Definitely not okay to say that name in front of Sailor Leto. Her eyes narrowed and she stood back up slowly, running her hands over her fuku to flatten it as she did so. She took a deep, shaky breath as she stared at the little girl. Was she really that mad just at the mention of the other Senshi's name?
She stood looming over the girl when she mentioned she needed to get home.
"Well if you're on patrol and one of the bad guys just showed up, aren't you supposed to do something about it?" Her right eyebrow quirked while she looked the girl over.
She wrinkled her nose slightly, not entirely sure how she was supposed to go about in attacking a child.

Huh…maybe mentioning Pomona wasn’t the best idea in the book. It seemed to do nothing but make Leto angry…was that supposed to happen?
The senshi nodded when the other mentioned doing something about the bad guy, then swallowed. “Yeah. Yeah I am…”
She knew she should try and fight this older senshi…she knew she had to! She was the bad guy. She summoned her watermelon rind and held it tightly. “I’m supposed to stop all of the bad guys…because you all do bad things! I’m the good guy, and you’re all not!”
The child seemed resolved and nodded to herself, bringing her arm back. “Lenka Boomarind!” She threw the rind at Leto with as much strength as the ten year old had, hoping to knock her over…so Lenka could get home and get to bed.

"How do you know I'm not a bad guy that does nice things, hm?" She frowned when the girl called her attack.
More fruit being thrown at her? Seriously? She groaned when the Watermelon rind hit her bad leg. Okay, this kid must have luck on her side tonight. Either that or Pomona and her team of fruit throwing jerks had mad fruit throwing skills.
She shifted her weight uncomfortably and then called her own attack, "Leto Camoflage Illusion!"
When she did, Sailor Leto blended into the jungle gym and the surrounding areas of the park. She moved through the darkness and grabbed the girl around her waist with one arm, clamping her other hand over her mouth to stifle any screams and avoid civilians or other Senshi interrupting.
"Listen kid," she hissed into Lenka's ear. "You tell Pomona that Sailor Leto is looking for her, got it?" She tightened her grip around the girl's abdomen, squeezing and applying a painful amount of pressure to get her point across.

She seemed so excited when the rind hit the other senshi, grinning and catching it as it came back to her hand, though dropped it a moment later as a hand clamped over her mouth. Instinct told her to run, to squirm until she got away, to bite…or do something. She settled for licking the hand that held her, hoping that would make it come loose.
As the threat was whispered she trembled, wincing as there was a sharp pain across her stomach. This was not how she wanted the night to go! She just wanted to go home and go to bed!
Tears once more filled her eyes and she decided that she really did NOT like the Dark Mirror Senshi…or any other type of bad guy…they were very mean…and just plain yucky…

Sailor Leto's eyes widened when she felt the warm wetness on the palm of her hand that she held clamped over the girl's mouth. Her expression quickly changed as she grimaced, her forehead wrinkling. She groaned and pulled her hand away from her mouth, wiping her palm on the other girl's fuku. She quickly dropped Sailor Lenka to the ground.
"Ughhhh that's so ******** gross...." she muttered as she stared at the palm of her hand. She stuck out her tongue in a gagging face and then frowned.
"Don't lick people, ew!" She chastised the girl that she had tossed aside, more concerned about the germs on her hand than the fact that she dropped a kid.
She was completely oblivious to the tears that welled in Lenka's eyes, or she may have felt a little guilty. Maybe.

Lenka ran at least ten feet away from where she was, hiccupping and shaking her head, staring at the space where she knew Leto was. “You’re just a big bully and a big meanie…next time…Pomona and Me….we’ll stop you for good! You and that other guy aren’t going to hurt anyone ever okay! Leave me alone!”
She scrubbed at her eyes, then stuck out her tongue, before running away as fast as her legs would let her…
She never ran from the monsters but it seemed like every time she met a real bad guy they made her run…that was no good at all.
She was going to tell Pomona about this. The older girl would know just what to do, she was sure.

Leto crossed her arms over her chest as she watched Lenka run away from her. Okay, realistically if she was a kid she would've run too. She laughed when Lenka called her a bully and mentioned Pomona a second time. This kid clearly knew how to rub Leto the wrong way.
"Alright kid, you bring Pomona to stop me," she said with a wave as Lenka ran off, Leto assumed to go home for the night.
Normally she'd chase after them, but even Leto had some semblance of morals so she shrugged her shoulders before turning in the opposite direction to continue her patrol through the park.
At least one good thing came from this... Pomona would be looking for her.
