Mychasi let out a small grumble. It didn't matter to her that he was soon to be blind. Maybe she didn't care if she didn't get a snack to eat? Not like they needed to eat anyways. He froze, he could hardly see. Bright light slowly filled his eyes making it hard to see. It hurt, as well. It hurt, and he couldn't stop it from hurting. Of course, now he was screwed. Panic would normally set in on any creature like him, but not him. He cursed under his breath and didn't move.
His ears begun to work over time. Once his eyes faded into the light, his other senses kicked in. Of course, he still stood there -- squinting. He was hoping he'd at least make out the shape of things, of course he couldn't hunt like this. He could easily call some night creature to him, but he didn't want to. That ruined the point of hunting. Plus, he didn't like fooling night creatures into coming to him only to meet their death. He signed. "I can't see anything." He mumbled lightly.
He didn't want to admit to her his true weakness. He didn't understand why, he normally didn't give a crap. She was different. He wanted to impress her, and so far it was failing. He'd never had feelings for anyone; with her, he couldn't help himself. She was beautiful -- Like true nature.

As the sun peeked out from the horizon and the sky began to fill with light, Acedia's eyelids began to droop. Each step she took was a struggle and felt as though she was dragging a ball and chain from each leg. Slowly, she followed the male, until he came to an abrupt halt and she stood beside him. Her dark green eyes followed the landscape as she attempted to search for possible signs of a snack, but she could see no signs of another creature.
Quickly, the goddess peered at the male from beneath her heavy lids. His stare was now blank and he seemed to be squinting as though he could not see two inches in front of his face. What the female didn't know was that he couldn't see anything. Her head tilted as his ears began to flick back and forth and she let her ears flop forward then back then slowly they flopped forward once more. Surely this male wasn't confused or lost. With a sigh, Acedia looked around once again, assuming she had missed what he was seeing.
As she opened her mouth to ask what was going on, he answered the question before she could ask it. "You can't see?" Her head slowly cocked to the side a sly smile appeared on her maw. "You are trying to fool me, aren't you?" Assuming he was attempting to weasel his way out of getting her a meal, she refused to believe he was blinded by the sun.

He turned his head towards her voice, he had heard her walk up beside him before anything. He wasn't directing looking at her, but more as if he was looking threw her. He could only make out bits of her, small bit of outline of where she was closest to him, everything else faded into brightness. He had a glare upon his face. He didn't mean for her to hear him.
"My domain only allows me to see at night." He spoke. "My brother, on the other hand, can see during the day and not the night." Mychasi's brother was his Yin to Mychasi's Yang. Together, they could see night and day as clear as ever, but without the other near darkness (or light) kept them from seeing.

Acedia noticed Mychasi's glare and couldn't help but raise her head slightly, her dark colored eyes looking down at the smaller male. "So you rely on your brother. Perhaps you should stick to darker places so you do not have to rely on him." Obviously, he knew her weakness and now she knew his. It was something she could hang over his head, but she had no intention of doing so.
Perhaps she could have a little fun with his weakness, though. Her tail flipped back and forth, smacking against the back of one of his back legs. It was the most amount of movement that she wanted to actually do. With her legs feeling heavier by the moment, Acedia preferred not to move around too much.

He didn't rely on his brother, at least that wasn't what he thought. "I don't rely on anyone" He spoke what he thought was the truth. Of course, what others actually saw was another thing. "I haven't seen him in a long time, anyways." He added. The moment her tail hit his back legs, he jumped. Well, not really jumped, more the opposite of it. His back leg just kinda buckled from the surprise of her touching him. His ears were focused on her, but he didn't even hear her tail move, at least not until after it touched him. And not softly either.
"Why'd you do that?!" he yelled. He was getting frustrated; then moved away from her a little bit putting a small bit of space between them. He maybe blind, but he was now all ears on her. He had gotten out of trouble many times with out being able to see. Of course, flying was totally out of the question. He'd end up killing himself-- Or worse, killing someone else.
He knew that soon he would have no vision at all. At least in a few hours. "I'm afraid you'll have to take a rain check on something to eat." He said angrily. He didn't want to give up. This way, though, made it so he'd stay with her more. He could hope for the best, but the way things were going.... You couldn't really tell.

Acedia couldn't help but smile devilishly when his legs buckled and he yelled at her. His yelling was the least of her worries, if she had any worries... "Seems as though you do need someone to rely on. At least while you are out during the day." The goddess said simply as she resisted the urge to smack her tail against his back legs once again, just to prove her point. Now that he was alert, however, she wouldn't be able to do so. Her shoulders began to slouch as her head began to lower closer to the ground and the toes of her paws began to drag along the ground, leaving four claw marks as she stepped with each paw.
She was growing less interested in finding food and simply finding a place to relax, so when the male told her she would have to take a rain check, she simply accepted his offer and looked around for a quiet spot to relax. When she found the perfect, dark, dreary appearing spot, she let her body heavily rest against the ground as she laid her head on her front paws.
Now, she was stuck with the male until night time. She glanced over towards him, her ears flicking back for a moment before focusing in his direction. Acedia wasn't too sure what she should do at the moment. Her dark green eyes focused on him. What would this day bring?

He didn't like this at all. He didn't like people knowing the one problem he had. God he wished his brother was here. Though he'd make fun of him, and tell him how stupid he was for letting a female goddess anger him so much. As well as make him into her food slave. He hated it.. She fell silent again, after a moment... He didn't know where she was. "I don't rely on anyone" He added again. He just... avoided the day when he could.
He started walking forward, though the sun was now high enough in the sky that his total vision was white....He tripped. There was a rock in front of him. "Oof" he said. It didn't hurt his body, but his pride hurt. He had proven himself wrong, not once, but twice. Today was going to be along horrible day... He just laid there for a moment. If he kept moving, he'd just keep running into things.

Acedia lifted a brow at the male as he refused to believe that he relied on anyone for assistance. Slowly, she shook her head as it rested on her paws. He was an interesting sight to watch, at least. As he tripped over the rock, a smile formed on the goddess' maw once again, but she forced herself not to laugh at the male's impairments. Everyone had something about them, right?
Her eyes followed him as his demeanor seemed to change. He seemed hurt, but not physically. As his body lowered to the ground, Acedia couldn't help but almost feel a little sorry for the god, but she didn't dare show it. "If you say so." With a loud sigh, she let her head rest on her front paws again. "Well... what do you usually do during the day?" It wouldn't be as uncomfortable if they had a conversation as opposed to sitting in silence.

He popped his head up and turned towards her voice. He could see dark shapes here and there from the trees, but nothing that he could distinguish. " I sleep." He said honestly. He hadn't always slept during the day, but it was his way of fixing the problem of losing his brother. He wasn't tired though. He stood up carefully know. He could hear how far she was, that was one thing he was good at... Hearing the distance of things.
He pushed his paws lightly in the grass close to the dirt so he wouldn't trip again. He touched a rock with his paw, then pawed at the rock to see how big it was before moving past over it. He had once tried to go over a rock to big, and he didn't plan on doing that now... Then no one had been watching him, now... She was.
"I know this is all so amusing to you." he said sarcastically

Embarrassing himself in front of her should have been the least of his worries. What the male should be focusing on was keeping the large female awake. She yawned quietly before she stretched her front paws out, digging her claws into the dirt before she pulled them back to her, leaving scratch marks in the dirt. The goddess was quickly losing interest in this male. That was, until he spoke. Her head lifted slowly as she watched him feel up a rock, a smirk soon formed on her maw at his words.
Amusing. Sure. She was amused by his strange movements. "Very amusing." Acedia said calmly as her green eyes followed his movements around the rock. If he slept during the day usually, why wasn't he sleeping now? Assuming it was because of her, she shrugged, not really caring what the male was up to. If he dared annoy her, he would feel her wrath... perhaps. Her eyelids were beginning to feel heavy and she peered out from half-lidded eyes as her tail thumped against the ground once.

She was much more quiet then he had expected, but perhaps that was because she was rather lazy, he had noticed anyways. He'd ask her to help him about, but he was sure that'd be too much effort for her to do. He looked in her direction. "Don't you ever do anything than lay there?" he asked her. He'd move towards her, but he was afraid of running into another rock. He didn't really feel like falling again.
He huffed a bit as he stopped moving. "You know, you could help a guy out." he finally said. He'd never asked for help, but he was sure she'd say no anyways. Or she wasn't even awake anymore. Maybe she was like himself, and slept during the day?

The female yawned a bit as she listened to the male's voice. Did she ever not lay around? Was this male dropped on his head when he was young? Why would she do anything else? Slowly, she shook her head. "What else is there to do?" Sure there was hunting, but that didn't sound appealing in the least bit. And then there was traveling, she preferred to stay in one spot, though she would travel if she felt the need to.
Perhaps this was one of those times that she would need to. Acedia listened to Mychasi's voice and growled softly at him. He really expected her to come help him? Ha... of course, he was going to help her later on. She frowned at this little tid bit of information. Slowly, she lifted herself up onto her four paws before she stamped over to the male with her head hanging slightly. Once she reached him, she roughly bit one of his ears and began to pull him back to where she was once comfortably laying. "Happy?"

"OUCH" he yelped as she dragged him to where she was. What was she doing? Was she mad? Well, he supposed that's what he got for asking her for help, she did help him... Just not what he had hoped it was. He huffed a bit before sitting down next to her. Until the sun went down, he was stuck right where she was. At least she smelled nice. He flicked his tail and sat there with a pouty look upon his face. Something a small child would give when something taken away from them.
"No." he simply said and sat there.
