As the Crusade started, a video package was shown to hype the crowd.

Chrono could be seen sitting cross legged in a dark room, his hands were rested on his knees and his eyes were closed. The room was darkened by was illuminated by several hundred candles. On the walls were archaic ruins and signs, Chrono himself was sitting in an alchemic circle. His custom made 'Best in the World' title in front of him. He seemed to be meditating.

A young girl opened the door and closed it behind her as she entered the room.
"Father, I think this whole obsession with becoming the best and doing everything you can to prove it.. Will end up destroying you. Remember what happened in EEW? You continued on and on without rest and look what happened. It drove you to make poor decisions and get shot. I don't want to see you in that state of sever exhaustion again..." the girl said in caring voice.

Chrono didn't move from his state

"Eras, your concern is not needed. I'm fully aware of what I'm getting into but it is inevitable that I see this through to the end. Then, only then can I rest.." Chrono said sternly

"What of Mother, What of Ms. Athena? In your greed father you've seem to have put yourself in a bit of a bind. They're both married to you, and they're both here with matches. Ms. Athena is also in a match with you! What if it comes to the both of you, will you harm her? "Eras said a worried voice

"I'm well aware of the situation at hand Eras, but I promised I wouldn't lay a hand on her, and that is exactly what I meant. Landry on the other hand.. As cunning an adversary he is, I've broken him once before and I can do it again. Then there's Brantley.. The wildcard undisputed champion, who's tactics don't quite sit well with me. Regardless he is the champion for now..."

Chrono said as he got up, as all of the candles flickered off the only thing that could be seen were Chrono's glowing green eyes a whooshing sound could be heard as the glowing disappeared.

The lights went on and the room was empty aside from Eras standing in the room. "Oh father... What are you going to do.. What have you become?" she said as she opened the door to the room and closed it as she started walking down a hallway and knocked on a door that said 'Phoenixfire'.

"It's me, Ms. Athena. I'll be watching young Matthias now so you can get ready.." the girl said as she entered the room and the cam feed went off.
