or adverbs or whatever describes a noun after the noun is said...wait is that even possible.
Well whatever, im just really confused about the -sama an the -chan i hear at the end of names in Japanese manga.
I used to think -sama was respecttalking to a boy and -chan was respectful talking to a girl, but then i heard 'Hinana-sama' in a naruto book.
Now i'm confused; anyone know the answer?
About how the -chan and the -sama at the end of a name works?

First of all, they're not adjectives, they're suffixes. You add them to the end of names to imply your relationship with them. For example:

-chan: dear, cute, close to me, friend

-kun: same as above.

-san: older than I, I respect you, but you're a friend, sort of.

-sama: I revere you, and give you much respect. Can be for a master or lord.

-sempai: One who has come before. You are older than I, and we aren't that close.

-sensei: teacher.

Hey guys, do I have any of these wrong? And are there any more that you guys know of?

i always thought of Otaku as a person who was addicted to anime and has no social life; which of course is rude to anyone who talks to people through a computer
