The shield one makes sense, it was overpriced before, and people only bought it when they were like, "Well. I have 3/3/0. Might as well get those shield upgrade when I have the money now". It was also very hard to try and fit the shield upgrades in the early/mid game when the armor and weapon upgrades were just much cheaper.

I'm not too sure on the wep/armor ups though. It honestly doesn't change much, because you only save something like 100/100, or 150/150 at most. That really isn't much in the greater scheme of things. It will allow me to get out like. One more zealot and ht. Or something like that.

I personally could care less if they moved the armor and weapon upgrades back, but I really love the lowered shield price. Because now I'm able to do a 0/1/1 versus terran, or go with more shield based ups versus toss or zerg, and get like 1/1/2, or 0/2/2, or hell 2/0/2.

I really like it because I like to lean towards units with higher shield counts versus normal hp (archon dt). The shields also benefit across the board. It can really help versus marines/ling/mutas now, giving shield armor to buildings for your cannons to help defend better.

If anything, the EMP nerf could help with combating money EMP shots against infestors with good spread since they lowered the radius to the same as a storm.

Considering Infestors are giant blobs that are like 1 emp shot each, it wasn't really a problem to start with.

To be honest, I think some of the upgrade costs specifically the damage upgrade costs were a little much, the only one that really needed to be adjusted was the shields.

I agree. But I think it's just a placebo effect for toss players. A lot of toss players ignore upgrades for some reasons, when they are REALLY good for them. Considering how much their units cost for how much they perform without upgrades.

They honestly could take back the wep/armor upgrades, but leave the shields and I'll be fine.
