The New Dawn of Old Twilight
In an ancient land, there rules two kingdoms: The Kingdom of Dawn and The Kingdom of Twilight. The castles are on the complete opposite sides of the land they are settled on, the land split down the middle for the two kingdoms. The two lands are mirrored to one another: as day falls upon the land of Dawn, night descends across the land of Twilight. For 18 hours a day, it remains like this. For the other 6 hours of the day, Dawn will rest in night and Twilight will be exposed to sunlight. For eons, these kingdoms have lived in peace with one another. There is no such thing as lightbulbs and cellphones, or even a telephone for that matter. These times rely on candles and the simple light of day (or for those in Twilight, the amazing night-vision that most of Twilight Blood receive as an adaptation to the darkness). Knights are well known around the kingdom as the primary guards for the townspeople and the castle of each kingdom. Witches and Wizards are welcome as well, often making potions or casting magic spells for fun or are loyal to the royal families and follow their instructions. The Royal Family of each land consists of a King, Queen, Prince, and Princess, and they have always lived in peace with the other kingdom…
That peace would eventually come to an end... A lone assassin who had no loyalties to any kingdom roamed the lands for a few years before finally making his mark on history, but of course, in secret. He snuck into the Castle of Twilight and killed the King and Queen before escaping unnoticed. Immediately, the Prince and Princess of Twilight assumed it was the work of the Kingdom of Dawn and called for war. Soon after the announcement of war, the same assassin killed the King and Queen of Dawn. The Prince and Princess of Dawn reacted the same way, assuming it was the work of the Kingdom of Twilight, and agreed to the war. Blood was spilt across the once pure lands, staining the fields and ocean waters crimson… The war came to a standstill and for years, remained this way. Tension seemed to lesson as the years passed, but neither kingdom would forgive the other for the death of their King and Queen. The Prince and Princess of each kingdom eventually became King and Queen, then a new Prince and Princess were born to each land. As the old Kings and Queens pass away, the threat of war still haunts over the new royals’ heads…
Now it’s time to continue the story. Will the war be provoked in some way and needless bloodshed rage across the lands once again? Or will someone, or perhaps a group of people, be able to stop the war from ever happening again and bring peace once and for all to the lands? You can live as a witch or wizard of great magic, a knight of amazing power, a lone villager that just might find his/her destiny to help the kingdoms, or even as the new Prince and Princess of either kingdom hoping to either bring peace to your kingdom or seek revenge for the death of your grandparents (the first Kings and Queens that were killed that started this whole war).
There will be a New Dawn in the Old Twilight...

RP Name: Yuki Hisakata (Snow Moon) Nickname: Snow Princess or just Princess Age: 18yrs Gender: Female Kingdom: Twilight Rank: Princess of Twilight Personality: Despite being on the “darker half” of the land, Yuki is very sweet and caring of her kingdom. As princess, she does everything and will do anything to make sure her kingdom is safe. She can be very strict, however, and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. After all, she’s the princess. You can’t exactly yell at her for that. She doesn’t abuse her power and only takes action how she sees fit. Even if it means running away and retreating from battle for another day, she’ll do it if she has good reasons. All in all, she can be serious in meetings, caring of her people, but surprisingly playful when she wants to be. Appearance:  History: Yuki is the Princess of Twilight. She was born into her status and raised to be proper and caring of her kingdom. At a certain age, she discovered her abilities in magic and learned to master them only so she could help her kingdom more. As for physical training, she learned a few tricks in her spare time (which is a lot of time). However, she only fights when necessary or when she is protecting others/something. She doesn’t seek revenge for the deaths of the King and Queen. After all, that was in the past, and this is the present. Her goal is to keep the peace between the two lands and hopefully end this threat of war for good. RP Name: Kageru Sekiyou Nickname: - Age: 19 Gender: Male Kingdom: Twilight Rank: Royal Guard (Princess) Personality: An unusually quiet man. Is only talkative around the Princess he guards. Appearance:  History: Kageru's past is troubled by family problems. His mother (a witch) died when Kageru was still young. His father (a great knight) was left alone to raise him, raising him the only way he knew how: as a knight. Slowly, his skills began developing over time, and he quickly made himself noticed by the higher ranking guards, putting him where he is now. At some point, when they were just getting to know each other, Yuki taught Kageru how to access magic. However, he could only use fire, which every time he would cast would turn black. The dragon usually seen around his arm is a Familiar of his, made from the last wish of his mother that if his father ever died, would appear to help him. Otherwise, she gets bored rather quickly and will ask random questions for the heck of it. When mentioning her past, she quickly changes the subject to avoid talking about it. Appearance:  History: Ayame, meaning Iris, was named after the Iris flower. At birth, her father gave her a black Iris which matched her ebony hair. After her birth, her father abandoned Ayame and her mother, as well as Ayame’s two sisters. When older, her sisters were killed by a ruthless thief, and a grave illness took her mother’s life. By the age of 10, she had no family left. She was then raised in a house of fighters, to be the best. She devised her own way to get stronger and joined the guards and soldiers of the Kingdom of Twilight. It wasn’t long before she would reach a higher rank in the guards, then even to reach the rank of being the royal guard for the prince.
