As the young lion continued sitting in the warm water with the dark lioness called Sarabi, he peered at her more, and a little closer, actually focusing on her since he had met her. She did seem a little familiar, but he really, really could not pin it down. He was one hundred percent positive that he had not seen her or any of her family members in these Pridelands before this night.
"So, Sarabi..." he began to say, making a circling movement around her, all the while looking at her with those curious, clear blue eyes.
"Do more wonderful things come from you or is this it?" he asked, amused as he swam right up to her side, sticking a tongue out at her.
"Seems not many know about this place, judging by the tracks," he noted - Ramani was always excellent about telling something about a place, for he had traveled to many, and wandered to enough different things to know.
"I would know. I've... been around."

Sarabi sat quietly for a few moments, just taking her time enjoying the water and the area around her, and her company of course. even though at the moment he was pretty quiet and she was too, she didn't mind, she liked the quiet from time to time. She flicked her tail behind her before turning her attention toward him as he started to walk around her. She was a little surprised at him walking around him and watching her quietly when he talked though she laughed amused by what he was saying. "I guess you could say that I have a lot of awesome surprises, but you have to stick around to find out." She teased to him sticking her tongue out at him back, a playful smile across her lips as she did.
Sarabi looked around her taking in what she could before turning toward the male and shrugging a little in response. "I don't think that there are many that come out here.' She paused after saying that before speaking again. "You would think that such a large pride would have people frequent any type of watering hole around here but i guess not." She chuckled at the idea before flicking her hair out of her eyes. But the last thing he said spiked her curiosity. "what do you mean you've been around." She asked him not to sure of what he meant by that.

"Sticking around, being around..." Ramani started to answer coolly, starting to float sideways in the shallow water - ahh, this for some reason reminded him of home, and somehow Sarabi just accentuated that nostalgia.
"An adventurer can only be around one thing at a time, though... This untouched watering hole is one thing we yearn for in explorations. What I mean is I've traveled around, journeyed to here from far away, and have seen many things in that time," he concluded, smiling.
"My sister sometimes said it was almost like I was a living map myself! I wandered off some nights from my family on our journey here, but I always managed to come back. She used to joke about how I've seen double the amount of sights on our journey than everyone else. I just... cannot help but wonder what awaits behind the next boulder in the distance. You know?"

Sarabi looked at the other male and then sat back on her haunches and through about it. She knew that most of the time she got away from her family while she was traveling. She didn't really mind it wasn't exactly something her parents did but she wanted something to take her mind off of things, she didn't want company some times she just wanted to be by herself. She flicked her hair out of her eyes and then flicked her tail around getting herself comfortable. "It's interesting seeing different places, "I kind of wish that I could go to two different places at once, I wish I could be here and be home and be with my family from time to time, but still go out and see different things around the pride that I wouldn't be able to see while I was there.
She shook her head as she thought about it. "I can't say I'm a living map, but I do always find myself back at home. I kind of just wander and see where it takes me and so then I can come back and then be able to go back out a little later." She paused once again thinking about it before speaking again. "on the other hand the outside world changes so often that every time you go out it's different adventure, even if it is slightly different." She pointed out. "There might be a new tree or a different rock. There is some one new that you meet." She looked down at the water. "The water constantly changes and the sand constantly changes, the grasses are always new." She chuckled once again at the idea. she thought it was something very amazing tot hink about.
