Since I'm posting this in the Chatterbox forum, I doubt anyone would take it seriously, but I figured we needed more posts in this thing. Plus, we could discuss any further problems or suggestions if anyone would like. This is the Chatterbox after all, so you can chatter all you'd like. Alright, now onward with the point of this topic.
Lately I've been noticing a lot of unoriginal ideas for the characters' biographies. There are too many. Most of them are straight out of the books themselves, which isn't the point of the roleplay. We don't want to hear Percy's story because we already know it. We don't want to hear Bianca's, Piper's, or anyone's of the sort. We want to hear about your own character's story, where they come from, and all of those goodies. Also, when you do things like this, it lowers your chance of being claimed by the god(dess) that you want. Please keep this in mind when you're creating your profile.
I had a few other things that I needed to address as well, but I forgot because my brain is totally fried. I hate homework. emo

/agrees very much.
when you make a character's bio much like a book character, you are pretty much saying, HEY. I WANT THIS OLYMPIAN TO BE MY PARENT. chances are, things won't be that way, unless in certain occasions, but that is rare.
also, I hope people will be taking this seriously, but it is important. please follow the rules. lately some people haven't.

It's a bit ironic that all of the poll results say no, when in fact, most of those in the guild are doing it. I was planning on everyone being honest about it since the poll is anonymous after all, so no one would know who said say yes and who said no. Since most people think they are innocent, all that means is that the unoriginality is going to continue, which wasn't my intention at all. I'm not going to namedrop, but if I see any more profile threads like that, I'm going to send you a message with a warning and YOU WILL NOT BE CLAIMED until there are changes. But whatever, right? emotion_facepalm

I have to admit, i sorta stole the dodgeball monsters idea from I think the Sea of Monsters book. I feel guilty! I'm gonna edit my bio right away! redface
