The world was new to this hybrid eyes. Everything was bright and colorful and she had the urge to play. The sun was brightly shining, the bright rays warming her dark coat as splashes of blue color gilded her simply. She stood in the tall drying grass and grinned as she gazed up at the fluffy clouds in the sky with her silver eyes, seeing everything in its splendor.
The adults where close by, watching some of the other cubs in the group, and Euthalia glanced over, scanning for one of her siblings. Once her eyes caught the pale sibling, Callisto, Thalia crouched down and slowly stalked towards her sister, ever eager to play. Once closer, she pounced forward and landed right behind her sister, overestimating her ability to pounce. With a giggle she batted at the others tail, "Callisto! Come play with me!" She pleaded happily, purring as she played with the others tail.

She was cleaning herself, and than her sister decided to pounce on her. What nerve! Cali shot her sister a quick glare. "Thalia what was that for? I was cleaning myself so obviously I didn't want to play." She stuck her tongue out. Sometimes it was difficult being so cute and adorable. It was a pain keeping up with stay neat and tidy.
Despite this she was still a cub and she liked cubs things such as playing. She would clean herself up after she was done with playing. "Since I'm dirty already I guess I can play with you." she rolled her eyes and she got up, wiping the dirt off herself ."What do you want to play?"
She didn't have any games she liked to play in particular. Most of the day she spent cleaning herself and creating jewelry for herself from things she found on the ground, like feathers and beads. It was fun to do, but she wasn't sure if her sister would enjoy doing it. Perhaps some time she would invite her sister to join her in her crafting project, but for now she would rather play games with her.

Thalia simply smirked as her sister seemed irritated at being interrupted. Crouching down the darker of the pair flicked her tail through the air in a classic hunting / playing pose. "Let's play tag!" She insisted hopping around her sister, crouching back down after each little jump.
Thalia enjoyed playing, she knew Callisto preferred to groom herself and make things, but Thalia had too little attention to do so. She liked the little trinkets her sister made, but the leopon knew that she would likely only irritate her sister be hastily putting something together, or by accidentally breaking anything she was able to make, or that her sister made. Regardless, Thalia loved her siblings and did try her best to do what they wanted when they suggested things.
"I'll help you groom after we finish playing!" the eager cub exclaimed happily before reaching a paw out and tagging her sister before bounding off with a bright giggle. Indeed Thalia was incredibly energetic, the young cub could hardly stand still for more than a moment.

"Alright we'll play tag." She said with a laugh. It was nice to occasionally play around and take a break from making things, she decided as she got up and watched Thalia. "See if you can catch me!" she yelled as she sprinted away from her sister.
Cali wasn't the fastest leopon, but that didn't matter to her. She knew that she would probably be a lousy huntress anyways. She would just have to find someone to hunt for her when she was old enough. What she lacked in speed she made up with cunningness.
As she ran she saw a tree and decided to try and hid up in it from her sister. Climbing was one of her strong suits, though she couldn't climb too high without getting scared. Quickly she darted up the tree hoping her sister wouldn't be able to catch up. She climbed up three branches high and waited to see what her sister would do.

As her sister ran off in the other direction Thalia let loose a laugh and spun around, chasing after the paler one. She had just about caught up before Callisto ran up a tree. All Thalia could do to avoid smacking right into it was to sit herself down mid sprint and skid just up to the trunk.
Callisto was such a better climber than Thalia, who preferred all four paws firmly on the ground at all time. "Aww, no fair! You know I don't climb." She whined softly, a smile still on her lips. Thalia may have been faster, but Callisto was far more cunning than the little dark coated hybrid.
Circling the tree Thalia began to whine more at her sister, clawing at the tree trunk, too afraid to climb up after her sister.

Callisto grinned down at her sister and even stuck out her tongue. "Come up Thalia!" she beckoned teasingly, gripping the tree branch tightly. "The view is amazing up here. You can see everything!" She wasn't really looking around though she was watching her sister on the ground. Cali spent a good portion of her free time in trees. She could easily find leaves and feathers for her jewelry.
As she sat there she felt bored so she jumped down to a lower branch to get closer to her sister. "How do you ever expect to see the world from down there?" he asked almost rudely. "The world is so much more beautiful up here. Come on up. I'll keep you safe I promise."
Her steel eyes watched her with hope. If her sister didn't come up she would just jump down and continue the game. It would be too boring if she stayed up in the tree while her sister was stuck on the ground.

Thalia's tail twitched as she was posed with a challenge and a choice. Should she brave the tree and attempt to climb just to show her sister she wasn't a scardy cat, or should she stay comfortably on the ground where there was no risk of falling and hurting herself. The decision was hard, but Thalia knew sooner or later she would have to overcome her fear of trees and heights.
With a look of determination the little cub jumped at the tree trunk and dug her claws in. She stayed there a moment beofre attempting to continue her way up, slowly pulling herself up and slipping a few times on the way. "Gaaah! this is so hard, how do you do it so fast?" Thalia asked as her tail flicked from side to side in annoyance as she was just under the branch her sister was sitting on now. With a wicked grin the darker cub lifted a paw and tried to bat at her sisters tail.

She grinned. "I am a natural climber so of course I am able to climb much quicker than others." She didn't try to boost, she felt like she was more or less stating a fact. "You're almost there!" She encouraged. Playfully she darted her tail up and down as his sister tried to hit it. She wasn't being careful and she suddenly felt her balance slipping. She heard a crack and looked at the branch she was on. It was about to snap.
"Uh oh!" She was about to jump to another branch when she fell down, she tried to not hit her sister on the way down, but she knew there was a chance she would. As she fell she was able to grab a hold of one of the other branches and she kept herself from falling all the way down.
"Thalia are you alright?" She called out. Her eyes were shut, not wanting to truly accept what was happening. She hoped that she would wake up and this would all be just a silly dream, but she knew the chances of that were slim.

][ Sorry I took like... months to reply. Baby came and stuff happened. I'm back now though! ^^; ][
Ears perked as she heard it too. First she saw the wobble of her sister, then the creak in the branch. She squeaked quietly as she then saw the branch snap and plummet down towards her. Frozen for a moment in fear, this hesitation made it impossible for her to jump completely out of the way of the branch, and so her tail and one of her back legs, got pinned under the branch.
A painful yowl left the cubs maw as she tried to wiggle out from under the branch. Her dark fur was now covered in bark and dust as well as a few leaf's sticking out here and there. With a whimper and looked up to Cali and pinned her ears back against her head. "Sis, I'm stuck, I can't move the branch..." She whined softly.

Callisto opened her eyes and looked up at her sister. She debated about climbing down the tree and getting one of their parents to help out, but she realized that if she did that Thalia could get her while she was gone. She took a deep breath in. There was only one thing she could do right now and that was to climb up and save her sister.
That would be something new for her. She would be the hero for once. Carefully she climbed up the tree. She found a branch that was next to Thalia. "I am going to move the branch okay? When I do I need you to jump to the branch I am on. Is that okay sissy?" She knew that something bad could happen, but it seemed to be the best plan.
She moved the branch up, which took all her strength. "You should be clear. Come over as soon as you can." She gave her sister a reassuring smile. Don't worry about that. XD Stuff happens.
