 Today seemed like an excellent day to just lazy around, Bukaera thought as he laid down in a tree. The branches above him gave him the perfect amount of shade, while letting some sunshine through. He was also high enough so only leopards could climb up and visits him. This ment the lower species would be on the ground, unable to bother him. Being a leopard was the best.
As he rested he couldn't help but wish for the company of a leopard, male female it didn't really matter to him. He wished to be close to someone, just for a little while before it was time for him to continue his search for his brother. He liked short relationships, they were never too complicated, they were just right for him. He couldn't get bored with short relationships either which helped him.
He couldn't help but laugh as he thought about relationships. Here he was, handsome as can be, all alone right now. He defiantly needed to seek out the company of another to ease his boredom. With a loud sigh he jumped down to the next lowest branch and kept jumping down, having a bit of fun while he was doing it. It wasn't long until he was at the base of the tree. "Lets see if I can find someone to entertain me for a bit," he said with his deep voice as he headed out.

 "There we go. Oops, watch your step!" Neeja laughed softly as she helped the unsteady waterbuck calf to it's feet. Some predators, coming across a pregnant creature in distress, would have made a short meal of the suffer mother and as of yet unborn calf. Neeja though valued all life, stay to help the exhausted mother with her delivery. She purred soothingly to the little one, licking his nose as she helped the youngster find it's feet.
Once the mother and calf where safely on their feet, she bid them both good-bye and safe travels before heading to the local water source. The white and blue female was humming under her breath as she walked, unaware of the bounce in her step or the playful sway of her tail.

As he walked he found himself getting thirsty in the warmth of the sun. He would have to find a small lake or another water source. How troublesome, he thought. Perhaps there he would find something to do. As he walked he could barley hear the sound of a creature humming. He stopped walking to listen.
Quietly he made his way to the sound, being careful not to make too much noise. He saw the leopardess who was making the sound and smiled at her from a far. She seemed interesting and cheerful. Something he usually wasn't. He was, for the most part stern and serious. Though if he needed he could be soft and caring, though only toward a leopard or leopardess. He could not imagine being soft, showing his weakness to a lion or cheetah. It would be disgraceful.
He quickly made his way to her and walked next to the pretty leopardess. "Hello there." he said with a beaming smile. He kept pase with her. "You don't know where a thirsty leopard could find a place to drink around here do you?"

Neeja jumped slightly then laughed at herself, "Oh my you gave me a start!" Up close it was clear this was no youngster, but a mature lady in the prime of her life. Her ruby eyes were kind, her smile warm as she nodded, "Yes of course I do. I am Neeja, I do not believe I have seen you around before?"
While waiting for his answer, she headed once more in the direction she had been traveling since, after all, it ended at the river.

He followed closely after her. "I am truly sorry," he said with a laugh."I didn't mean to frighten you. I shall me more careful next time." He walked quicker to be at pase with her. He admired her colors and her stipes.
"I'm new to this area," he confessed looking around. "I am a traveler who is looking for somewhere to stay for a while. I've been traveling so much that I need a bit of a break from it."
He smiled at her, "I'm guessing you're not a traveling though. Is this your home? It's quite lovely. Not a bad place at all to call home."

Red eyes darkened for a moment before she shook her head, "No I have no home. I have simply passed this way before." She traveled on till they came out to a wide spot in the river. Without waiting to see if he planned to join her, she waded into the cool water, nearly purring with delight as the scent of blood and sweat was washed from her coat.
Feeling in a better mood once more, she turned to the darker male and smiled, "I am afraid I never did catch your name sir."

"Ah that would make sense then. I hardly ever walk the same path twice. There is so much out there, I would never want to limit myself. Though I wouldn't mind traveling here again, maybe for a quick stroll." Bukaera said with a smile. He watched her wade into the water and thought how relaxing it must feel.
Staying fairly close, he followed her in there, and let the water flow against his fur. "Now this is nice. I haven't had a moment to relax in so long." He said, thinking that he ought to rest more often.
"My name is Torm-Bukaera, though no one has ever called me that. Bukaera or Buka is fine by me." He said with a nod. Then he remembered why he was out here to begin with. "By the way have you by chance come across a leopard by the name of Torm-Hasierara? He's my brother and I have been looking for him. I was hoping that perhaps he has come across this area."
