 With a sense of defeat, Akane'Serkan Enyo stopped. She had been walking for weeks now, and she still didn't know where she would go. Her home and the family she knew had been completely destroyed. Now she was living by paw and mouth. Hardly something she wanted to keep doing, but what choice did she have? The dark red lioness looked bleakly around her. She had no place to call home. For that matter she wasn't sure she wanted a place to call home after the betrayal of her family and pride.
With a spurt of self-pity Akane decided she wouldn't go any further that day. What was the point? She spotted a medium boulder that would shield her from most stuff. It was as good a place as any to lay down. Her paws dragged in the dirt as she walked over then threw herself down with an oof. She'd just rest her eyes for a moment. Akane let her eyes close and fell asleep.

He had just left the Firekin borders more displeased and frustrated then ever. If it was a MAN run pride they would have seen his RAW talent and accepted him right away, but those GOD AWFUL females. THEY were the reason he didn't get in (he assumed). THEY were probably busy having Firekin teaparties while the male genes dwindled down to nothing. Good riddance. They didn't DESERVE a fighter like him- he would find elsewhere. Someplace he could dominate the women and be KING.
He saw a boulder in the distance and walked too it. That would be the first thing he claimed; HIS boulder. But then he saw the female infront of it. HOW DARE a female be on HIS rock. He called out to her rudely. "FEMALE MOVE THIS IS MY TERRITORY."

Akane woke abruptly from her slumber as a rude lion yelled at her. She blinked sleepily and lifted her head to peer at him. "What are you babbling about?" Her sleep fogged mind didn't want to work right. She tried to make sense of the words. Female? Who was he talking to? Akane thought she was the only female here though. Then her mind started working again. His? His scent wasn't anywhere near here when she arrived.
"Your territory? I bet you've never even seen this place before. Keep your voice down. I'm trying to sleep."

"I- I- I HAVE TOO." He yelled even louder at her. "I SAW IT-..." He thought about it, he'd never seen that rock. He shrugged oh well it was hid now anyway. "I SAW IT THIS MORNING...BEFORE I GOT KICKED OUT OF THE FIREKIN." Damn bastards not accepting him, though he didn't know why he was telling HER this... probably because he had a lack of a little voice in his head that told him when something is a good thing or not. "SO YOU BETTER GET YOUR RUMP OFF OF IT BEFORE I CLAIM YOU TOO." He snarled and moved closer to her.

Akane sat up as he continued yelling at her and her tail puffed out. How dare he! "You're a pompous old windbag!" She 'shouted' back at him. "Who cares if you saw it this morning. And if you got kicked out by the Firekin then it surely can't be yours!" She paused and blinked. "Wait. Who are the Firekin?" She had never heard of them. Then again she really hadn't been in much of a position to.
Her eyes narrowed as he threatened to claim her and the rock. Oh no! Never again would she let anyone 'claim' her. "JUST YOU TRY! YOU CAN'T EVEN CLAIM A ROCK! I'LL BE MORE THAN A MATCH FOR YOU!!!" She stood up to meet his advance, hissing furiously.
