Adamma was a rather quite cub. She was studious and loved to be told tales of the old gods and would sit still for hours if need be to simply hear such tales. However when she had time to spare of her own she tended not to want to play with her siblings she liked her solitude and the quietness that seemed to float just above the ground across the whole valley like a veil. She had been brought back with her father after her birth in the rogue lands, she'd not known her mother for long and therefore didn't really miss something she'd never truly grown to know or have about. Her father was caring and the other lionesses within the pride seemed to welcome her and her siblings warmly. Coming back to the pride lands in late spring she'd missed the small tender spring flowers that flourished in this climate though throughout the summer had enjoyed simply laying amongst the tall and various different grasses that grew healthy and she had spent many and hour watch the wind sweep across the tall blades in sweeping gusts to cause the grass to ripple and sway like the ocean. Autumn was upon the valley however and the grasses had died back, few tress grew this heigh up the the landscape still changed, less green and the air held a crispness in the mornings which Adamma revelled in. This morning was not different and a damp mist had dropped down on the snowy peaked mountains that rolled and settled right down to the river that ran through the base of the valley. She left the warmth of her den to walk through the morning mist, no intended direction simply enjoying the mornings peace.

Bae came from his den with a great yawn. He stretched out his front paws, claws digging into the dirt and grass as he felt his joints pop. Gods, he felt old sometimes and this would only be his second winter. Pawing at a sudden itch on his nose, violet eyes fell upon the quiet morning with a grin. Mornings were this one's favorite time. No one was up to hound him to breed with someone, no one tried to flirt with him. It was a wonderful thing!
Make no mistake, the massive male loved the attention of females as much as the next male, but he didn't want to just breed. He wanted an actual relationship. Something built on trust and understanding and eventually love. When he was ready for cubs, he wanted to be sure that the female he picked wouldn't just use him for his seed.
This calm morning was a stark contrast to last night. He'd had another vision that rattled him to his core. Something had happened. Something big had happened to those prides on the coast. Many lives were taken, families broken up and lions were still missing. He knew it to be in the past, because his pride had gotten news a while ago about what had happened. Still, to see it with his own 'eyes', as it were, was a completely different thing.
Shaking himself of the memory and the sleep that was clouding him, he took a huge breath and sighed. He was walking away from his den, watching as the mists swirled around him and then parted when he spotted a little cub. Grinning, he wandered over to her and chuckled. He didn't want her wandering too far! Cubs tended to get into little trouble, but there was still that one cub that tried for the boarders every once in a while.
"Awake before your parents?"

Adamma was hidden by much of the mist, it swashed her to her shoulders and rump, the damp left dew forming upon the edge of her fur of her legs link tiny jewels and when the mist rolled and lowered in a wave, the sun's rays that broke the rise of the mountains caressed the valley the ting beads of water on her legs sparkled and then vanished from sight again as the mist rolled back over her again. The sensation was magical and she smiled a small contented smile. Lost in her own fairytale world Adamma jumped at the sound of another lions voice, 'Awake before your parents.' Startled a little Adamma's eyes widened and she took an automatic step backwards but then stopped. She stared up, the large male lion rose up out of the mist as if he was made of the stuff, totally white with lilac eyes. White, as she well knew was a prized pelt colour close to the gods and to visions that held great knowledge and foresight. So seeing a white pelted male wasn't something that wasn't altogether rare in the pride lands but totally white as he seemed to be from her perspective was something she hadn't yet seen.
Her eyes widened still and in a voice that was normally naturally quiet and softly noted like something that had to be caught and cherished was now slightly risen, an alarming note like a bird call tainted her voice, 'Arrreee youuu a, errm, a God?'

A god? Now that was a very cute question. A grin took over Bae's face as he let out a rumbling laugh. "A god? No child.. I'm no god. I'm just as mortal as you are. Though, I admit I'm a bit bigger than some of the males here. I'm Bae." He bowed his head and moved to flop on his stomach to get a better look at her.
The mist rose up like it had a life of it's own when he did that. It swirled around the two of them as he pushed his nose in for a closer look. The black stripped tail of his flicked this way and that as he watched the little cub. She was stunning already! She would be one of those that would be encouraged to breed as well. In a way he felt sorry for this cub for being born with a white pelt, but at the same time, he knew it wasn't a bad thing. Some lavished in the attention they got for their white. Most did, in fact. Perhaps she would be one of them? He was curious about who she belonged too, who her parents were.
The markings on her back were ones he'd never seen inside of the pride before, but there were plenty of lions in the pride he'd never met. He wouldn't ask though, because he was sure he'd find out when the girl's parents came looking for her.
"Though, I've been told I resemble a god before. Where are you off to this morning, little one?" He wanted to know if he should escort her to wherever she was going. He often liked to wander with the cubs. They were quite fun to romp with once they warmed up to him. He was so fond of cubs, but was in no hurry for his own. There were more important things on his mind right now.

He wasn't a God then, he sure sounded like one though, his voice was deep and it was almost like she could feel the air ripple with the low vibrations of the tone. As for being bigger, well with her herself only just standing out of the morning mist anything seemed huge to her but he was right, he was the biggest male she'd encountered in the pride lands so far, in fact besides her father he was the only other male she'd meet. 'Bae' she said the name under her breath 'Bae,' and she stared at him, the low tone of the word, his name, suited him and matched his voice, she smiled with the simplicity of it. He lay down in front of her and she felt more at ease as his eyes came closer to being level with her own. She glanced at his violet eyes and then watched the mist swirl away from the ground as he pressed his belly to the dew moisten earth and then swirl up and around the pair before settling once again.
At his next point she couldn't help but press the matter, 'Really? What then if your a God in mortal form and don't know it, maybe you lost your memory?' A serious expression came across her face, 'that wouldn't be very good though...'. She was putting some thought into the matter of trying to recover one's memory when his second question struck her and she responded vaguely, 'Oh, erm, just a walk.'

The imagination of cubs never failed to leave Bae in wonder. A deep laugh came from him as the cub spoke and he shrugged, rolling his shoulders in amusement. He got down face to face with her and stared her in the eyes, making the atmosphere seem very serious and hopefully left no room for giggling. "Let me tell you something, little cub... I'm not a god."
Suddenly, the big male reached out and snatched her up, giving her a noogie and rolled so she was on the flats of his paws. His front legs would be at her chest and his back legs would be at her stomach, lifting her high off the ground. He saw some dads in this pride liked doing that with their cubs when they saw them. Violet eyes were glistening in joy as he did. He wanted cubs of his own one day, but he wasn't sure when. "What is your name, pale princess? I've told you mine. In order for us not to be strangers we need to exchange names!"
