Bukaera grinned as he spotted his next prey. He leaned down toward the ground, keeping hidden in a large bush. His eyes were on a large zebra infront of him. Perfect meal, he thought as he started to sway, getting ready to pounce. Than he jumped and tackled the zebra to the ground. It was a quick kill. The other zebra's in the heard ran for it, not wanting to be the leopard's next meal.
He grinned proudly at his catch. It had been some time since he had caught something so large. He wasn't even sure if he could eat it all himself. No matter, what he didn't finish he would leave out for the scavengers. He took a quick bite out of his meal and listened to the peaceful sounds of the world.
He liked it here, it wasn't too bust wasn't to quiet. It was a happy medium. Of course occasionally he would meet others, usually he would scare them away if they weren't leopards. When they were leopards he would offer them his company in exchange for some news. It was a nice trade for him and for them he thought. Who wouldn't want to be in his company after all. When they were cute that was even better. He laughed as he took another bite out of the zebra.

Wandering through the peaceful area she was in Hariti was searching for some prey the antelope herd she had following having been scared away by a rather unskilled Lion earlier that day. Noticing the tracks on the ground she started to follow them wondering if this one was at least close enough she didn't have to track much farther away.
She followed it a bit farther before starting to smell another in the area. So the Zebra was most likely taken down already. Well she could at least continue through before finding a place to spend the night maybe the other would be kind enough to not chase her away.
Hariti could smell the blood from the fresh kill as she came into the area being sure to stay far enough away that an unfriendly fellow would not be to worried about her but close enough to see who exactly was there she crept closer. Maybe if she was lucky there would be some meat left over what with her own territory so bare at the moment. She looked over at the male as he came into sight her tail swaying curiously behind her, another Leopard and quite a handsome one at that.

Bukaera heard the foot steps and turned around to see the leopardess. She was very brightly colored. He grinned, such a pretty leopardess. "Hello there." He stood up, being polite. He didn't being the only one sitting when a lady was around. It was rude in his opinion. "How are you doing today?" he asked her with a smile. He made sure his catch was in plain site.
He walked over to her, his confidence streaming out of him. His walk was graceful, something he had mastered. "My name is Bukaera, Buka for short." he said, with his tail twirling. Her noticed her lightly colored eyes and smiled. They had a gentle look to them, something he admired. His own light blue eyes had a tendency to have a demanding look to them. He did his beset to soften them when he looked at the leopardess.
"Are you hungry? I have plenty of meat if you are. I can even catch more if it is not enough." he offered as he watched her with interest. He wondered if she had any news from around these parts. He was new to the area and any news would help him. If he offered her some food she would probably be more likely to help him out.

So the male had some manners it seemed, that was a nice find out here and to have taken out a zebra by himself showed he was strong. She walked a bit closer to him a smile on her face. "Please there is no need for you to get up on my account. I am doing well and You?"
He was certainly a confident one, very graceful as well the way he held himself made him seem noble almost. His eyes seemed commanding but not to harsh, something that was nice to find in a male. He was quite the gentleman as well it seemed, offering to even hunt for more though the one zebra had quite a bit of meat on it enough to fill the both of them as she didn't need much.
"If you wouldn't mind sharing your catch I am sure I could give you some information or something for your generosity. I wouldn't want to put you out." He looked curious maybe she had something he didn't know of yet.

"There is always a reason to get up for a lady." he said with a soft smile. "I'm doing well, just traveling in these unknown lands, looking for something to do." He said with a grin. It had been some time since he had proper company. Most of the creatures he met were not leopards and so he paid little to no attention to them. They were after all a lower species to him, unlike this lovely leopardess. He admired her quietly, hoping to get the chance to get to know her better.
"You read my mind," he said with a laugh sitting back down next to the zebra. "Have as much as you want. I only wonder if you have any news of the area. Perhaps where a nice play to rest for the night." He had been traveling for some time and hadn't had any luck finding a place to rest at. if he could find one here it would be perfect. It was such a lovely place to spend the night.
"I'm looking for my brother, we were separated years ago and I'm looking for him everywhere that I can. We were separated when we escaped our old pride." he explained. "How about you? Why are you traveling in the rogue lands all alone? I would think a young leopardess should have a protector with her."

She followed him over to the Zebra sitting on the other side of it leaning down to take a small bite having always been a rather clean eater while the blood tasted nice it would not do to have it on her coat, blood got sticky after a while and she didn't enjoy cleaning it off of her fur. "I would be glad to show you to a place where you can rest for the evening, however the only information I can really offer other than that is that there are some rather stupid lion's out here that manage to scare away prey if they are in the area."
She looked over at him after saying this a look of disdain at the thought of them. While she may not have much prejudice against others she had a great dislike for the stupid ones. She would gauge his reaction to this after all watching people helped you discover more about them.
"I have not seen your brother however If I do I will be sure to tell him so." She said this looking closely at the other. "I am out alone. I really have no home so I wander about this general area, do not remember much about my family or where I came from." Her tail curled around her after she said this, a sad look on her face as she tried for what seemed like the thousandth time to remember.

He watched how cleanly she ate and smiled. It was nice seeing a leopardess who cared about how messy she was. It was a nice change to what he was used to. He laughed at her remark about the lions. "Aren't all lions stupid?" he pointed out. "I don't think I've met a single lion that wasn't an idiot. I hate how they walk around like they think they own everything."
"Thank you. I miss my brother terrible. He was my best friend, my closest friend for a very long time. I don't what I am going to do without him," he said with a sigh. His brother was the only one that truly understood him and he missed being able to talk to his brother.
As he listened to her talk about her situation, he moved closer to her and put one of his paws on her paw. "I'm sorry to hear that. It's a shame you don't remember your family. The thought of my family is what keeps me driven to find them." he said looking into her sad eyes. "If you want I can help you find your family, or at least stay with you for a little bit. I understand how lonely these lands can get." He offered her a warm smile. He would do anything to help his fellow leopard.

She gave a soft chuckle at this taking another small bite. "I would enjoy the company, It does get lonely out here by myself. There is a rather nicely hidden area that coulf be used for sleeping this evening, and it's near a watering hole if you happen to be thirsty." She looked away after saying this her tail sflicking happily beside her at the though of some company.
"It's a small area though I do hope this is okay with you. As for my family, I would enjoy finding them I am a bit afraid of what my come of it though surely there is a reason I don't remember them." she thought this over thinking of a reason as to why she might not want to meet her family after all she had not been with them since she was a cub. She most likely wouldn't even recognize them if she were to see any of them.
"We can leave here after we have eaten our fill, I don't generally have a large appetite. It would most likely be better to leave soon anyways we wouldn't want the spot to be taken already."

"It sounds beautiful," he said staring at her. He could image it. The watering hold would be nice for when he had to wake up extra early and needed a drink. He wouldn't have to travel a great distance to get a drink and that was always nice. Plus he might be able to sneak a quick swim in it, if it became too warm. "Small areas are better." he decided out loud. "Its easier to cuddle up and stay warm for the night. I've spent many night cold because of too much room. This will be a nice change."
He nodded his head as he listened to her talk about her family. "I am sure there is a reason you can't remember them, but don't worry. I will help you find them and I will make sure nothing bad happens to you. I am sure your family is looking for you just as much as you are looking for them." he said with a comforting smile.
"Sounds good to me." he said before taking another bit from the zebra. He started being a bit self conscious as he ate, not wanting to look like a slob infront of her. It didn't take too much longer for his stomach to fill.

Hariti smiled at his answer nodding slightly before getting up stretching slightly as she did so. "I am glad you think so it does get rather cold at night." She curled her tail around herself as she sat back down starting to feel the chill to the air as the sun started to set.
She smiled slightly at the way he spoke of her family. Maybe this was true if it was it would be nice to find them, to get to talk to them. " I hope you are right about my family, I really hope you are." She looked out over the plains the peaceful feeling of the evening seeming to put her even more at ease.
Having eaten her fill she waited taking note of the fact that he seemed a bit more self conscious about the way he ate after having seen her. Standing again she paced a bit farther out looking in the direction of the den she was speaking of.
