Anyone who works for the good of people gets my respect.

A nun is a person and a person has many reasons for doing what they do. I think living as a nun would be boring.
I never wanted to believe that being gay was a sin... It was like living with a mask on since I kind of knew deep down I was bi after a friend showed me a website, but I can live without sex for the rest of my life. I don't look down on people for having a sex-drive, but I still believe in basic morals. =P
Ironically I was outwardly homophobic for a very short period when I was younger, not that I wouldn't hang out with bi, gay or lesbian people, but I would deem it 'gross' to be in a same-sex relationship when I was younger because I was afraid of what other people would think of me... I would've stood up for gay/lesbian rights if I had the chance. I grew up in an extremely pro-Christian family. I never seemed to fit in at church for a lot of other reasons.
Regardless of whether or not they do it for the good of the people, as long as there is good being done that's good enough for me even if it's only surface wise. I'd pray to a god that I don't believe in if it meant something good would happen. There are deaths that happen because of selfishness or irresponsibility which in many ways is preventable.
If it means everyone can live as decent people and everyone can have a chance to live happily. I'd relate, help and understand people because I truly love and care about people in that sense even though I probably look like a coward and look selfish, I really can't bring myself to care.
