She had always been large, the phrase, large and in charge, covered her more or less perfectly. She had always been larger than life and she expected to be obeyed. Most of the time, she was, being obeyed owning a little part of someone, of something, being obeyed because of it, it sent a very real tingle down her spine.

Under the bright afternoon sun the large black cat lay under a tree sprawled out like an extra happy house cat. The cat that got the cream. She was overly pleased with herself, she had produced and raised three lovely little gods and at least one of them still worshiped her, which was better than none at all. Her first child, disobedient as she was had known her place only for so long before detaching her self format he proverbial apron strings. Though of Siki made her frown, but the frown washed away quickly enough.

She was far too happy, comfortable, resting under the afternoon sun, larger than life, the cat that got the cream.

There were few beings in the world of the gods that Neltharion could tolerate. Fewer still in the mortal realm. One of them was Ubuge. A fellow god, she took what she wanted, and bent mortals to her will. She made them do as she desired, using her domain to give her power over them. That, he had long ago decided, had been Mkodi's divine plan for the gods. But few now were the gods that felt the same.

He'd spied her lying under a tree, looking like she'd plans to snatch the sun out of the sky. He knew enough to know that if she could, she would. Fat, greedy thing she was, filled with longing and desire for ever more posessions. He felt no disgust with such thoughts of her however. It was simply who she was. Just as it was who he was to loathe everyone and everything, and to force those around him to do the same, until they burned themselves away with hate inside.

Born on wings of flame and ash, he soared overhead, casting his vast shadow over her. "Goddess of Greed," His voice echoed over the plains, vast and impressive, as he always was. "What trifling mortals have you bent to your bidding to give you such an ugly look upon your face today? I can feel their hate for your trickery, their desire for their souls back..." He landed, flaring his wings and scattering ashes to the winds. "My compliments...You always had a way with these insects." He was in quite fine form today. Polite, almost. How curious.

Ubuge gave a low rumbling laugh as the large fiery god rolled through the sky. She did so enjoy Hates presence. He was an old god, as old as herself and full of, well hate, hate was a good thing it lead t desire and desire could lead to an amazing greed. In fact a lot of her greedy little loves were full of hate. It was a wonderful circle. He was a part of her domain, or at least he helped her domain along, that she could appreciate. To own him though, uhmmm, yes that dark frame, how she would love to posses him.

"Oh darling, it is so wonderful to see you. You know your visits are so welcomed." he chuckles a low rumbling laugh which shifted her ample frame. "Me my sweet? Why, you know a lady never kisses and tells." She winks playfully lifting a paw and pointing. "He wanted a gem greater than his brothers crown, something that his pride would admire and shift him to the position of king. He saw the gem but now he wanders the day and night fetching me pretty little things and curious souls. I do so enjoy having one such as him in my posses, fool though he is, his greed makes me real."

She lets out a low, sigh, expressing a far away look, that she knew would not fool Hate, but she knew he enjoyed her little plays, it was a part of who she was and he knew that. She admired him for that. "I was also thinking of ones children. All grown up, so beautiful, flown the next and left their poor mother alone once again." She looks to Nelly with a smirk. "Their father, he wasn't all some other males are cracked up to be but one will have ones little moments of weakness." She chuckles.

None of Greed's words fooled Hate, but his tolerance for her was tempered by respect. Her views were kindrid with his own, and she was as ancient as he. Few gods had never died to be reborn. He felt such weakness was an affront to Mkodi herself. It was she who had molded them from the start, and she who knew best what forms they would wear. Even as his own body cracked and melted a bit more each day with the heat of the magma inside it, he was as strong as ever. And Ubuge had only grown fatter, swollen as he with what made up her domain.

"Pathetic fool. His hate for you burns brightly now. Until his debt is paid to you and longer still, it will burn." He was careful not to give her any thanks for the 'meal'. He knew better. Just because they two were as near as either of them had to friends didn't mean that either of them wouldn't turn on the other if they felt it would bring them more power.

Her musings about her children piqued his interest. "Your choice in males was poor. A reborn male, planting weak domains in you." He sneered, and a thick rope of lava drooled out of the side of his maw, hissing at it hit the ground, searing it black. "I am surprised you were too weak to retain them at your side. Are you growing weak, Greed?" His eyes narrowed, but the malice in his voice was laced with...was it humor?

She smirked at his thanks, she knew he could feel the hatred the now subservient male now felt, perhaps if he decided not to feel the greed for his brothers livelihood he would escape her, though she doubted it. This male, he was one of those that held on tot heir greed until they wilted away then she would lose him. His power would fritter away and his soul would vanish back in to the either, back to the goddess of souls.

She raised a brow at the dark lava ridden male and she gave a laugh. "one simply enjoys the company of young strapping males occasionally." She chuckles, she did so enjoy young strapping males, with their strength and youth, they made her feel young and they were often, complimentary. "One sometimes gives in to ones own greedy impulses and one did so want some little domains to own, and they are still MINE." She flashes the hate god a quick glare to let him know she was not to be joked with about such a thing. "One simply calls upon them when one needs them. The strongest, the young thirst, ah he makes me proud he is so the mothers child one groomed him well and he will come in handy some day."

She raises a brow at the dark hate god "And what of you Hatred? Have you yet to spawn children who are not of that..mortal stock?" She smirks, she had heard of Nellys 'triumphs' with the mortal females, they were weak, his children would fade away in the blink of an eye. "One has refrained from fraternizing with the weak, they are good for one thing, to serve, to appease my hunger, to hold in my paw." She lifts one of her large paws and smiles ever so calmly imagining those little pieces of creatures gripped in her claws.

And now it was his turn to snarl, a low hiss of threat rising up from his toes. "They are weak and pathetic, but they will serve for the purposes I have for them. Your own children may aid you, but they cannot see your future, the future of your enemies. They will grow old and weak, and then I will devour them, and create new slaves to serve me."

"There are few goddsses I would trust to sire my children onto. So few left of pure form, as Mkodi created them." His voice dripped with desire, like honey should Ubuge notice it...but his yearning was for that which not even she could give. He had loved Mkodi since the dawn of time. "...The gods grow weak. They act as patrons for the mortals, rather than lording over them, using them for their true purposes." His eyes, pure fire, were hard to read, but they seemed to fix on the plump goddess. "It burns like fire in my bones, to think that perhaps we two are all that remain of Mkodi's pure godsss..."

An idea struck him then, but he showed no outward signs of it. He felt no passion at the idea, nor disgust, or any other emotion. It was simply an idea. And he stepped closer, singing plants and making the mortal Greed held in thrall cringe back in fear and loathing. He looked Ubuge over as if he were inspecting a cut of meat, no shame or consciousness of her feelings upon being so oogled even thinking to grace his soul.

She gave a light chuckle, she liked that he could become irked, she like that he had a short fuse and she also liked that he didn't just attack her. She would most certainly give as good as she got. "I'm sure they will at least die bloodily for your cause Neltharion." She barely ever used his name, it wasn't his true name as hers was not truly Ubuge, Ubuge was her handle, she was greed, she always had been.

"Well darling, you know how it is, they are weak willed and weaker of mine throwing away their immortality to the nearest sob story mortal." She snorts and shakes her head. "It is pathetic, a fate I would not even deem possible. I swear immortals lives are getting shorter hatred, I tow ponder if the world is crumbling around us. They should know better."

It did not escape her that his voice had become smooth, and she did not skip a beat when he looked her over, she was a worthy creature, worthy of any. Holding her head high she fixed her coal eyes upon the dark god and without a moments hesitation looked him over. She had looked him over many times, why shouldn't she? It was a part of her domain to wont for that which you cannot have, she coveted the god of hate he was power, strength, a domain she could truly sink her teeth in to, one she would love to control though she knew she never would. To own a piece of him, to posses his children, well that was something that piqued her interest. "Your looks flatter me Neltharion, but if there is a deal to be struck it must be a struck now before these looks go any further." She smirks, hate would drive a hard bargain, but the bargain would be worth it. To bear the offspring of hate, it made her heart pound in her abundant chest, she wanted it, needed it, her greedy little piggy eyes glistened with the mere thought of it. She would happily strike up a deal, for that was what deal making was about, holding on to, possessing the power, any children she bore of his would be power, a part of him, she would own a little part of him and that was a deal worth making.

He snorted, another warning rumble shaking leaves out of the trees. He knew what she wanted, and he knew that he would not give it to her. She thought that by bearing his children she would own him? She would keep them for her own? Even greedy paws could be pried away from the things he desired. He was Hate, and he feared not her wrath nor its incursion.

"I know you, Greed, and you will hold your thoughts. Not a day passes that a mortal does not plead to you for riches or power, or a female the love of a heart beyond her mortal reach. But I will not bargain with you. Your desire is greater than my own." He slid closer, the heat radiating off him in intensifying waves. He looked her dead in the eye, and the barest hint of a smile curved his long and crooked mouth. "You should be the one making bargains with me, goddess."

He stepped past her, tail swishing back and forth, and snarled at the mortal. The male cowered, cringing, and the god's nostrils flared, drinking in the stink of his fear and hatred. A perfect aroma to court a goddess like Greed to. He looked back at her, flaring his wings as if to take his leave of her, should she not speak up. "Well? The offer is yours to make, Greed. I trust you to know the value of that which you seek..."

Meeting his fiery gaze the dark goddess did not quell. She was as strong as he, she would never bow down to hate no matter how scary he looked.

She chuckles quietly, she wouldn't let him leave. She couldn't it was too much temptation. She flicks a paw shooing the mortal male away, a smile lifting her gaze as he scuttled away as quickly as he could. Fear, oh she loved it.

"I will give you half." She states flatly, a smirk in her dark eyes. Oh she knew she couldn't bargain with hate truly. He was powerful a force to be reaconed with, she couldn't dream of owning him but owning one of his children, now that, that was something she could deal with even if every greedy bone in her body almost quelled at the thought of giving away, un-posessing a cub of hers. She wanted them, she wanted them all, but Hatred, he was too good an offer to pass up.

Half? It was a shockingly good offer. He turned to watch the mortal flee, inhaling again. He felt his flaming core heat, blazing with the energy he drew from the pitiful beings. Fresh rivulets of molten fury seeped out through the plaes that were his crumbling skin, decorating him in a beautifully macabre style. He looked back at her, regarding her seriously, and with intensity.

"Half, then. And should there be one?" The thought was not to be mentioned. His seed was too strong for that, he was more than sure. He had not sired gods in aeons long gone, but he had never sired a single cub. Still, should there be just one, things could very swiftly become messy. "Should you fail to give me more than one god-child...then what will be done? I'm sure the thought of tearing it down the middle does not appeal to you..." That thought made his lip curl. She would possibly despise the sundering of any lone cub they formed, her only 'possession' from him. Perhaps he would do it then, just to make her 'his' thought her anger at him.

"I will take half, if they are worthy. Though I would expect no less from myself...or you. A strong male, stronger than your last god-fling." He snorted. "You will not be rid of me so easily, though you will never posses me. Cross me, or go back on your word, and you will wish you could be rid of me, and your life, before it is done."

She raises a brow "Really darling, you know I am good for it." She chuckles quietly, she liked the phrase, she was a fertile god she had borne many gold children in the past. Some of her flings had been more, productive than others, but this was hate and she, she was greed. "If it should come to one Neltharion, I will raise it, however, should you need it, it will be at your disposal." She rolled her eyes at the phrase, disposal, she hated she would have to loan her only possession of his, truly his, out to him. She would have to deal though. The thought of carry a little piece of him around with her for any amount of time made her squirm.

"Really Dahling, have I ever tried to get rid of you?" She chuckles, it was true, she had never attempted to rid herself of the hate god, he was too, interesting, too powerful not to enjoy having around and for those brief moments, those sweet, sweet moments when she held his attention he belonged to her. He was all hers and he would give a piece of himself to her. This was the deal.

Sh gives a sigh "there is but one, slight, disclaimer." She rolls her eyes like this part was very tedious "Unfortunately cubs must be fed, even god cubs." She laughs "It's very tiring I assure you, very tedious work, they have to be weaned but once done so you can of course take your share. I wouldn't suggest feeding them from a mortal, their milk is weak. To grow strong they have to feed from their mother." She sighs with exasperation, this was one of the few things about child birth she found utterly annoying, before she could use them when they were so young that they were more or less useless balls of fluff, her useless balls, but useless none the less. "It is my only.. I don't know small print darling. Do you agree?" She raises a brow "You can of course hang around while they get to the weaning I won't chase you off and you can choose the cubs you wish to remove while they gain strength." She raises a brow, and holds out her paw "Do we have an accord Hatred?" She purrs a sweet seductive sort of rumble, deep from her chest.

He frowned. If there was one he'd have to share. He didn't like the sound of that. "Very well. But since you will get the lone cub should you fail to spawn more than one, I will take first pick of the litter once you wean them. And I will stay nearby, lest you try to fill their heads with designs against me." Just because Greed was his 'friend' dind't mean he trusted her. So long spent without Mkodi had made him mad, and paranoid. He trusted no one but himself.

He sneered at the last of her 'fine print' and lifted a paw, placing it firmly against hers. "An accord, for now, Greed. I trust I will not regret this decision. I will give you cubs, and you will return half of them to me. That is the trade." No more would he give her. And he felt his body draw tight around his soul lest Greed try to take more than her share. He would never allow that part of him to split, to be bent to the will of another.

The pact bound, he dropped his paw and stepped up to her once more. His eyes roved over her like searchlights, assessing her for flaws, of which he found none. Indeed she was an apt fit for her domain. She smelled of immortality, and the thought of a goddess consort after so long with mere mortals exhilarated him.
