I cant begin to express my appriciation for this movie. Not only was it a great movie, but from talking to other fans I had met fairly recently seems this is the first movie they saw by Kevin Smith, and they then watched his other movies and became bigger fans.

Thank God for this movie!!! I think Bolweevil and I saw this one twice in the theaters when we first started dating heart
The DVD came in handy when I wrote a term paper on censorship. I'm not a big fan of the censors. Thanks to the Smith I was able to use every curse word in the book inside an academic paper through direct quotes of why he had to cut certain scenes to appease the explitive deleted MPAA. We had class workshops on our papers and my group was always telling me to censor my paper because of my quotes. Why the heck would I censor a paper on being against censorship? gonk
Anywho... it was just a simply fantastic movie! So fantastic that my aunt's Japanese foreign exchange student watched it like 5 times in a row! xd

This was the first Kevin Smith movie I had the honor of watching as well, and I'm glad I did. Without this flick I doubt I would of learned of the greatness that is Smith. I remember watching it at 12:30 at night, and then having to watching twice the next morning to get through the day. Mmm Mmmm Good.

I'd say I feel sad about Comedy Central not showing the whole movie with the out takes. I enjoyed the one with the Wild Life Marshal in the bathroom.

I have a friend who can sing the ******** song. It's gret. The movie was awesome and a great bit of fun for all of his fans. The bit with Matt Damon and Ben Afleck talking about Dogma was great. that and the whole other directors thing...

This is the only movie I've had the chance to see in theatres. I remember seeing previews for mallrats when I was much younger, and thinking how cool it looked, but my parents wouldn't let me watch the commercials if they knew they were on, and none of my freinds heard of the movie, so I just forgot about it until a little after dogma came out on video.
But j and silent bob are such a perfect harmony. heart

This was also the first Kevin Smith film I was able to see in theatres. I hadn't seen Clerks or Chasing Amy when I originally saw it, but I knew what they were about, so I was getting more of the jokes than the people I went with who hadn't see Smith's other films.
I find it interesting that this film attracts and introduces people to Kevin Smith's work because in many ways its his most inside jokey because it references all his films made previous.
My favorite part? "And stop stealing monkeys." "F*** you!" "Fair enough." My best friend and I used to greet eachother like that all of junior year of high school and still do off and on to this day!

That movie has only the funniest good idea/ bad idea Quotes in it. Jay: "Do you like Trouser snakes?" Justice: "What is a Trouser snake?" 1st Devil Jay: "She fell for it now whip your d**k out." 2nd Devil Jay: " Here is where the Angel guy is supposed to show and tell you not to whip your d**k out, but we beat his pansty a**." Both Devil Jays: "Boooong." Angel Jay: "Jesus loves the little children. What's the problem? *look down, and the smacks Jay* What the hell are you thinking, Look at Slient Bon does he think it's a good idea?" Jay: *Looks at Slient Bob* Slient Bob: *Shankes his head* Angel Jay: "Ok now put the d**k down...." Too funny.
